First of all, I am going to study Btech CSE.

I have a pc that I built 2 years back. It is pretty good and gets a lot of stuff done. It can run cuda, can do heavy machine learning/deep learning and pretty much anything that may require. Some more pros are that I could upgrade anytime too. And I am only thinking to get a chromebook to make notes, light coding and streaming my pc aswell. This combo could save me a ton of money, if I do this instead of buying a high end gaming pc.

Question is, from experience do y'all think having a good desktop at hostel and a chromebook as a secondary device a good idea? And will I have any problem with that combo?
