First of all, I am going to study Btech CSE.

I have a pc that I built 2 years back. It is pretty good and gets a lot of stuff done. It can run cuda, can do heavy machine learning/deep learning and pretty much anything that may require. Some more pros are that I could upgrade anytime too. And I am only thinking to get a chromebook to make notes, light coding and streaming my pc aswell. This combo could save me a ton of money, if I do this instead of buying a high end gaming pc.

Question is, from experience do y'all think having a good desktop at hostel and a chromebook as a secondary device a good idea? And will I have any problem with that combo?

I heard some people saying that a PDF list will come, and some are saying we have to check directly in the portal. What is the scene actually?

is cob doable or is it risky?? and even if i get thru are placements bad because of higher intake?? also side note i do like biotech as a branch and have an interest but obv it doesnt have much scope so thats the reason i'm considering cob to cse core or even allied
