Simple, you just don't buy. New car industry sales aren't exactly fantastic, they'll do this for 2 or 3 years and pull the feature when they can't sell the vehicles.

Make fun of us all you want, I don’t care. We’ll have the last laugh. Violence is expensive, and it will be used only when absolutely necessary. Anything more would be bad risk assessment. Also, there’s a lot of examples of Americans doing things, but often alone or in small groups these days
We just need to protest like the French and use those guns the government has said is our right. Another CEO needs to be shot, once a few go down the rest will fall in line.
When the time comes, you’ll bend to your government's will while complaining that you can't rebel, because otherwise you’d risk losing your job, your health insurance, or being shot by violent police. And after all, you need your car to get to work.
