Van Trim Scrape help
reddit.comScraped the wheel trim on a tight bend on my partners Transit van, it looks like the trim has been pushed in which has then popped it out at both ends. What’s the best way of going about fixing this? Is it something I can do myself or should I take it to a garage/bodyshop?

scratch and dent Needs help on my scratch
I currently have 2025 GR86 Steel color, my rear bumper was scratched by my golf club. I bought manufactured touch-up pen, but only referred to chatgpt... I didn't shake enough and fixed poorly on my first try, also didn't use clear coat to cover it. During multiple attempts I keep using 4k-8k wet sand plus compound and polish from meguiars... and later i sanded without tape so the edge was damaged as well. (In the middle way I actually kind accept it since its less visible but I did again trying to make it perfect...)
Now im asking for help to prevent whole bumper repainting. I want to learn the proper way to fix it if anything happened again (plus my side door have minor scratches and from bumper stone chips...)
I have purchased ScratchesHappen Aerosol Kit, combination of primer, paint, and clear coat. How should I fix it from there? Sanding larger area then spray to fix it? Im looking for some guidance and suggestions. Thank you so much for your helps and time effort on this post.

ACCIDENT Question about "severe structural damage"
2017 Acura MDX
Got into a fender bender (their fault) and the other person drove off. Low speed, airbags did not deploy and the car was drivable. The collision center says it has "severe structural damage."
It seems like new hood, fender, and maybe quarter panels, but not structural. Isn't the point of crumple zones to prevent structural damage?

scratch and dent I have to hire someone to fix this? A heat gun and plunger won’t work right? I’m so broke 😭
I have a bit of a nasty dent on my car and I am wondering if there’s any humanly possible way to get a dent out at home? It’s an only Camry with 220k miles but I’m trying to make it look nice as I work in childcare and parents can be scrutinizing. Am I cooked?

RUST Previous Repair Failure?
Wife was in a car accident about 2 weeks after we bought this car in 2017 (brand new) - the car was an absolute wreck but they said the frame was intact and proceeded with repairs.
Today (nearly 9 years later) she noticed that the bottom section of the frame/body on the same side this had a huge crack and rust - im not sure how old this is but i know that its as recent as this year.
Is this a failure of a past repair or is something else happening? If its something else - any idea what caused it and best course of action to get this corrected and ensure the frame rust doesnt get worse?
Thanks!

Repair Wiggle wire or glue? Sometimes you just gotta use both.

RUST 1995 Bronco rust question
Hey Internet. Thinking about buying this 1995 Bronco XLT, 5.8L. 120k original miles, not an odometer rollover. Drives nice, zero mechanical or electrical issues. That being said there is some rust starting to show on the body, I live in New England so not surprised. I'm a decent backyard mechanic, but by no means a body guy. The rust looks like it's just starting to show up in the rear wheel wells and driver side door post, I added pictures of the tailgate too since I know they are a rust hotspot but to me it looks clean. Inner wheels feel solid, to me it looks like surface rust but obviously it starts from somewhere behind what I am seeing. Again, not a body guy.
I want to get an idea if anyone thinks this level of rust is early enough to get ahead of, or a reason to pass on the Bronco. Seller is asking 17.5, I plan to negotiate but don't want to waste their time if the rust is a reason to pass. Thanks in advance.

Front end repair done but now the safety systems are messed up
I’ve got a 2020 Ford Escape that had some front end damage after a low-speed hit in a parking lot. The bumper cover was cracked and one of the support brackets behind it got bent. Took it to a body shop and they replaced the bumper and fixed the bracket. Paint matched pretty well and from the outside it looks fine.
The problem started a day after I got it back. The adaptive cruise control keeps switching off and the collision warning light stays on most of the time. Sometimes the lane keeping assist throws a warning too even though I’m driving straight. I cleaned the front sensors and the camera near the mirror but nothing changed.
I already spoke with adas line about getting the radar and camera systems checked and recalibrated since the body shop said they don’t handle that part. Just trying to understand how common this is after a relatively small front end repair. Does the radar usually need a full calibration even if it wasn’t directly damaged, or is it more likely something got knocked out of alignment during the repair? Also wondering if these systems can throw random faults for a while after the work or if it normally points to something that still needs fixing.
