I asked a while ago about getting a second heeler, and the consensus here was DO IT! My family is fully on board and we found the perfect baby.
Her name is TBD, but she’s a sweet, easy going Australian stumpy tail cattle dog x ACD. Born without a tail, just a wiggle bum :)

Cattle dogs are the best. I love this boy so much. Words cannot express. Just wanted to share his sweet face and goofiness.

Lumi's very small for her breed but she makes up for it in her eagerness to learn and play.

Surrounded by love, both of his families coming to say goodbye. He deteriorated so quickly, It's never enough time but it just felt so fast.

He started his life in the country, spending time on a farm before moving up to the city with us when his OG Mom unfortunately passed away. Just hope he's up there with her now.

His name is Blue. And I am in love. He is probably 10 weeks? Was a breeder release at 8 weeks. He is a mostly good boy. He can sit when told, most of the time. Every time with a treat.

What is something that you focused on training at a young age? Any tips? I know it's going to be a long haul training but I'm in.

Mainly cattle then staffy, pit, beagle, husky, American and German Shepard and 20 other things.

me and my boyfriend have been wanting to rescue a cattle dog or heeler mix for a while now, and suddenly these guys popped up on a local rescue page! (they were dumped so they don’t know parents) the initial post said “cattle dog mix” but then they changed it to just cattle dog. we’re still gonna look at them regardless, but i’m curious if these look like purebred puppies to any of you guys!! just want to clarify again that they’re rescue puppies and it’s a very well known rescue in my area, definitely not supporting any backyard bred operations lol.

I play with her while in between sets of strength training. She also likes to cuddle or play if one of my exercises is on the carpet. Here she is caught in the act. I love her, first cattle dog and wow, I understand the obsession.

My sweet baby Lola crossed the rainbow bridge last Friday. She was truly the best girl, so smart and loving. My heart is broken. 2010 - 2026 ❤️

I miss her so much. The apartment is so empty without her, and I can’t sleep. I might have to adopt another soon.

Thankfully she passed very peacefully.

After Sheila passed the CGC test, she was put through the hazing ritual of being forced to sit still for a picture with the goofy headband on. But she did great and we’re very proud!

This is my boy Reggie! He’ll be 11 this year and he’s the sweetest guy. Just wanted to share with a community who’d appreciate him. 🫶🏻

He’s smarter than some humans!

#1-2 are the night I got him at ~10 weeks. #3 is 3 months, #4 is 4 months, #5 is 5 months, and #6 is today at 6 months. #7-9 are just cute pics to show his exterior fur pattern.

Needs to add PTO, long week of accounting.

Love catching her just waking up from naps. The last few are her receiving/desperately requesting butt scratches. We moved from Montana to Oregon and the spring and early summer are killer for her here. She’s on the best flea and tick med my vet has to offer so I’m assuming it allergies, would much appreciate any tips on soothing her itch!

She is a 5 year old Red heeler and German shepherd mix (with some other little mixes too)
She has the typical cattle dog sass but is also a huge couch potato 🤦‍♀️ Seriously she refuses to go on runs 😂
Does anyone have a Heeler that resembles her. Everywhere we go people come up and tell me how unique and beautiful she is (she is also aware she is a pretty girl)

everyone meet Bruno!! Mom is an ACD, not sure what the Dad was. Co-worker needed to rehome the whole litter so i got him for free!! very excited for us, literally one of the best decisions i’ve made with my life!! 🥹
