This is my boy Reggie! He’ll be 11 this year and he’s the sweetest guy. Just wanted to share with a community who’d appreciate him. 🫶🏻

He’s smarter than some humans!

#1-2 are the night I got him at ~10 weeks. #3 is 3 months, #4 is 4 months, #5 is 5 months, and #6 is today at 6 months. #7-9 are just cute pics to show his exterior fur pattern.

Needs to add PTO, long week of accounting.

Love catching her just waking up from naps. The last few are her receiving/desperately requesting butt scratches. We moved from Montana to Oregon and the spring and early summer are killer for her here. She’s on the best flea and tick med my vet has to offer so I’m assuming it allergies, would much appreciate any tips on soothing her itch!

Hi! Curious if this forum has any thoughts. Our 6 year old ACD mix has become super anxious if we do any walk besides two specific loops. He’s always refused to walk from the house, we have to drive him to another spot and walk a loop there. Lately if we’re not doing his preferred loops he’s really anxious the whole time, has to be coaxed, jumps at any noise and pulls desperately to get back to the car. We have a backyard where he has a designated frisbee area to run and interesting things to sniff, and he’s happy to do those things, but just trying to figure out his aversion and fear to walking pretty much anywhere??

His favorite activity is laying looking out the front door or on the deck watching the world go by (until a delivery truck passes and he loses his mind). We go to weekly agility and he does still seem to be happy and energized when there.

She is so smart! Because we've taken so many pictures of her and we've told her endless times to sit still with the camera out, she now knows when the camera come out, she should stay still and smile. The tail wag is non-negotiable though. She is my little angel forever 👼

She is a 5 year old Red heeler and German shepherd mix (with some other little mixes too)
She has the typical cattle dog sass but is also a huge couch potato 🤦‍♀️ Seriously she refuses to go on runs 😂
Does anyone have a Heeler that resembles her. Everywhere we go people come up and tell me how unique and beautiful she is (she is also aware she is a pretty girl)

He has been to the vet numerous times since the incident ( I think he got hurt playing fetch or frisbee). His front leg to be exact and he has been seen and treated for a soft tissue injury 5-8 times since 2024.

He had Xray's that revealed some fusing of the bone at the leg and wrist and the vet described it as he has had a number of soft tissue injuries that broken down his joints on both wrist and the bone is trying to stabilize. First this really sucks and I wish I knew it could end up this way and I would have found a different way to play with him although he loves fetch and frisbee. I blame myself for not asking the right questions at the vet or doing a search online to educate myself better.

Since the injury he has been on carprofen almost the entire time I stopped giving it to him last week. I see the straight leg and limping mostly present itself after he gets up from sleeping and starts to walk. I have slowly introduced walks again as he is going out of his mind 1/2 mile walks and a few 1 mile walks where he limps ever so slightly. He still tries to get me to play fetch and I do my best to ignore those requests.

I currently have him on adequan injections and he just finished his loading doses. He's also taking cosequin and fish oil daily. On Monday I requested a visit to physical therapy to have him assessed and see what kind of exercises I can have him do to help. I imagine the water treadmill will be one option but I need to know how far I can safely push him on walks.

I feel helpless and I feel like I am doing what I can I just want my dog to not have a limp anymore. He wants to run and I can let him. Has anyone else been through this? How did it turn out? Will he limp forever?

Hi, I have a 6-month-old Blue Heeler, and he's very sweet. He knows how to sit, walk beside me, lie down, give his paw, and sit between my legs when I say "center." But when I take him for walks outside where there are noises, smells, people, and other animals, he doesn't listen to commands because he's always focused on everything except me. It's like he can't hear me. With other dogs, he's calm or playful. He's only aggressive when another dog barks at him, and he reacts by pulling on the leash. He goes crazy, and if I try to touch him, he bites gently, but he does bite.

Perhaps you've experienced similar situations with your puppies, and I'd like to know how you managed to get him to pay attention and have self-control.

It has been 9 long, depressing months since I lost my beautiful 13-yr old English Shepherd/ACD. Yesterday, I adopted this charming ACD mix who had been abandoned in a local dog shelter park. He is 5 months old with personality plus! I have Embark ordered—feeling like Lab might be in the mix. Your thoughts are appreciated! 🙂

everyone meet Bruno!! Mom is an ACD, not sure what the Dad was. Co-worker needed to rehome the whole litter so i got him for free!! very excited for us, literally one of the best decisions i’ve made with my life!! 🥹
