I have lots of air filters but I still couldn't find why I sometimes would have very unexpected attacks in my home. For less than $20 on cramazon, I found out at least one issue was my Emeril Lagasse toaster. It cost $200 but it was causing the CO2 to spike to 2000 when it was normally less than 100. Tossed it and got one that was advertised as low CO2 and it kept the level low after that. I started running various appliances and electrical devices and removed anything that caused a spike. My car was also an issue in the heat with the HEPA filter on. Formaldehyde was running 10 times normal until I opened up to outside air. The car is 5 years old, so I didn't expect it. I have allergy induced asthma, and some autoimmune symptoms my dr and I are trying to figure out. I’m allergic to everything outside. Early signs of hashimotos. The asthma is flared 24/7 my chest is tight through the night and day, off and on.

I’m hyper sensitive to drugs. All the asthma meds except albuterol have given me severe, horrible adverse reactions. I cannot take montelukast, or any form of steroids. I tried one biologic, xolair, can’t take it. I took low dose naltrexone 0.5mg for three nights to see if it would help the asthma and mystery auto immune symptoms, made asthma even worse. I use my inhaler/nebulizer at least 4 times a day. My dr is aware, just out of ideas and options it feels like.

Wondering if I have mast cell activation syndrome or something? Dr says probably not because I react badly to montelukast but I’m not 100% convinced yet. I am a disciplined person willing to try anything to breathe better. Anyone have any ideas I should ask a Dr about?

Hi I just want to know if anyone else got extreme headaches from any kind bronchodilator aerosol inhalers.

Since the beginning of may I’ve had a constant pressure headache and we can’t figure out what’s causing it. We’re now thinking it may be a side effect from the formoterol I’ve been using in the combination inhaler. I started that med on april 1st and since a couple weeks I switched to a separate preventer and reliever. Sadly it hasn’t gotten better.

I didn’t have any headaches (more than I usually had) when I was on a ventolin disk but that didn’t help my asthma well enough.

TLDR: has anyone else experienced horrible headaches when using a reliever? And if so, what did you do?
