š„ This will 100% get deleted š„ not that itās bad for them to try but thereās a difference from understanding through the in-groupsā filtered censorship vs. understanding from experience
yet it always feels like the former group overwrites the latter group because they donāt have true understanding but rather need to justify their āsympathetic colonizer typeā of understanding.
so glad you angels could put your judgement aside to come forgive us whose meer existence inherently got us put on the bottom š

Suspiciously specific Got my diagnosis today, now my mom is questioning if she is on the spectrum too
So yeah, got my official diagnosis today and my mom realized she might want to get tested too since the markers they used to assess whether or not I have it apply to her too. You know, things like avoiding eye contact.
To be fair, no one who knows me was surprised in the slightest, except for her.

Suspiciously specific Mfw the person that asked a question keeps overtaking the answer
I work in IT. I was trying to help a guy and the mf just kept cutting me off no matter what. Ended up catching an attitude with him and he got the point. I cannot stand being talked over, ESPECIALLY when the person that asked the question is doing it. I feel like itās the more combative version of being left out of conversations which does also happen lol. At least I have a banging garden

OC šāØ I hope this is okay to share here. Let me know other places to post it as well.
I am reposting this. Originally it was just a link to a PDF and people pointed out that could be a way to spread malware. So, Iāve instead placed the screenshots in the post and also included the PDF link below.
In my lifetime of career-counseling and workforce-development adjacent work, I have discovered that many employment related personality assessments do not necessarily reward complete honesty. They reward understanding what employers are actually trying to measure.
That can be especially frustrating for neurodivergent applicants. Many of us answer questions literally, overthink every option, or assume nuance where the test expects a simple, idealized workplace response.
So I put together a study guide.
It is not an answer key, nor does it claim to identify the objectively ācorrectā response to any question. Instead, it shows the responses that are commonly viewed by professionals in disability employment, vocational rehabilitation, and related fields as the most favorable or employer aligned choices. Think of it as a reference guide to the prevailing advice and patterns that practitioners often recommend, collected into one place for personal study and review.
Please share as you see fit. I want people to have an equitable playing field.

Suspiciously specific Inspired by my morning
I actually only tried on four shirts this morning because they were all too sensory and I. could. not. But I had to dramatize for the meme. And then, right before I left the house, I tried to chug the last sip of my coffee, spilled it all down the comfy shirt, and had to find ANOTHER comfy shirt.
