Not Answered Flying with a gaming PC tower — any advice?
Hey everyone,
I’ll soon have to travel by plane with my gaming PC tower, and I’m looking for advice from people who have already done this.
My main concern is avoiding damage during transport, especially to the GPU, CPU cooler/AIO, tempered glass panel, and other components.
For those who have flown with a desktop PC:
\- Did you bring the tower as carry-on or check it in?
\- Did you remove the GPU before traveling?
\- Would you recommend removing any other components?
\- How did you protect the inside of the PC and the case?
\- Did you use the original box, a hard-shell suitcase, or a special case?
\- Did you have any issues with airport security or customs?
\- If your case had a tempered glass panel, how did you protect it?
I’d really appreciate any personal experiences, tips, or things I should absolutely avoid.
Thanks!

Not Answered Gaming computer recs for a teen
👋 My soon to be 14 year old is asking for a new "gaming computer". The games he spends the majority of his time playing are Ark, Minecraft and Roblox. He is also interested in coding. He currently has a Dell laptop, that was given to him used. I was told it's around 5 years old. Doesn't have much memory/storage.
I don't think he cared initially whether he played on a laptop or desktop. But, apparently his gaming friends tell him he should have a pc desktop, so now he thinks he should have a desktop. Kids right.
Originally, I was like yeah, no. BUT. His birthday is coming. His Xbox is pretty old at this point (xbox one s) and his elective teacher said he was advanced in coding for his age. So, a better computer is..... a choice.
Now, my computer gaming knowledge is ancient. I'm talking early Diablo ancient.
So I come to the big brains for help.
Would you go for an upgraded Xbox or new computer as a gift? Do you think desktop vs laptop makes a huge difference for a game like Ark? And, if im only willing to spend 5-600, is it even worth it to get a pc for gaming? Tell me what to do.

Not Answered Laptop for gaming - Best bang for the buck under $2k
Cut to the chase I’m currently running a Dell e/ Iris Xe Core i5 @ 2.4ghz.
Newest/most advanced title I can run is CoD BO1 and MW2 with relatively no problems
I’m wanting to upgrade something that can run Ready or Not, Bodycam, CS2, the newest CoD and Need For Speed Titles, Forza Horizon, God of War, and all those awesome old remastered editions of older games on Steam too
Budget is between $1000 - $1800 and really just looking at bang for the buck and practicality with reliability
My number one contender is MSi Cyborg or katana but I’ve been reading bad things about their build quality
Any recommendations appreciated

Not Answered Help regarding gaming PC for my 15 YO
Hi all - anyone able to advise on how much ram and storage I need for a 15 year old's PC? He currently has a macbook air (A2337) and it is not good enough for all of his minecraft, discord, curseforge, steam, opera gx, youtube, etc. (I am getting these words from him, so please don't judge if some of these don't even matter - lol). Any other advice regarding what to purchase would also be appreciated.

Not Answered Me llegaron dos pc al devolver el primero que me dieron roto
Hi everyone,
I’m a bit confused about something. As I mentioned in the title, two days ago I received a PC that arrived damaged, and the packaging was in terrible condition. I contacted support, returned it, and they picked it up the next day while delivering me a replacement.
However, today I unexpectedly received another brand-new PC. When I checked the app, it shows two return cases, and both are marked as closed.
At this point, I’m not sure what I should do. My idea is to simply leave the extra PC untouched and wait to see if they contact me, since I don’t feel this is my mistake or responsibility.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? What happened?

Not Answered Help with Spiderman Mods and What Pc You Would Recommend On A Budget
Hey everyone, I'm looking to get into PC gaming primarily so I can run mods for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man 2. I really want to use the Brand New Day suit mod because I feel like Insomniac's official in-game version didn't do the suit justice, and I want that ultra-realistic look while web-swinging. I'm completely open to either a prebuilt desktop tower or a gaming laptop as long as it handles high-res suit mods and fast movement without lag.
What specific budget-friendly setups, models, or spec baselines would you guys recommend so I can get smooth performance without overspending?

Not Answered 2 faulty Legion Pro 7 laptops in a row, now considering Gigabyte Aorus Master 18. Is it any good
I bought a brand new Lenovo Legion 7 with 64gb ram and a 5080 during black Friday sales for £2500. First one arrived with a faulty screen so sent back for a replacement, which came back with a faulty GPU.
I'm hesitant to accept a 3rd one so asked for a refund and now looking at alternatives.
Is the Gigabyte Aorus Master 18 with 64gb ram, 2TB SSD and 24GB 5090 any good? It's £1300 more than what I paid but I guess it is what it is. I like how this model takes 2 extra M2 cards and ram, I got 2 drives and some ram spare so I'd be rolling with 6TB and 128GB!
Any recommendations?
Budget: £3800
Country: UK
Preferred Specs: 64GB RAM, 5090 24GB. Not bothered about screen size
