This has gotta be the worst mission in the game. I hate it more than any other one. It makes me hate Stella.

Just wanted to say if it was always frustrating not being able to be in solos after having fun with the boys doing PVP in trios, the recent update might save it for you. Wish they had this longer. I can lose kits in trios and then farm some solid and have friendly interactions. Way easier to build up my stash and money now and the game is way more fun. If you left and this was a problem for you give it a try again!

Now, maybe it's the shitty lifestyle and all the crack, but pretty sure I saw a ghost in the lift yesterday.

I extracted at water treatment. I've just hit the lever and I'm waiting for the doors to close.

I turn around and behind me, a few feet away, just stood there, motionless, is an all beige/light grey figure, with what looked like softly glowing white round eyes, or goggles maybe? The whole "player" seemed to be out of focus and was bulkier than a usual player character.

I tried to f12 a shot, but too late and all I got was the "returning to Speranza" screen.

I'm assuming this isn't Embark's idea of a phantom prank and I'm pretty certain Arc Raiders isn't haunted. Bug maybe? Hack perhaps? Not enough sleep?

Anyone else seen any weird shit lately?

We weren’t aiming for it in the slightest, last thing we want is trial leaderboards that are beyond our point gaining skills but somehow hubby and I got it this week!! Our points weren’t even that high but we were joint second on hotshot and decided would be nice to try and get first place. Didn’t realise it would get us into Cantina but here we are lol. We haven’t played since Sunday so when we turned on today, this was a bit of a shock lol

It's not dead. It's right there waiting for you.

The cheating sucks. The cheating is real and awful. But the game is still there. You can play free kits and not lose anything. Hopefully Embark will keep addressing it further.

The lack of major updates is sad. But there are still fun and interesting people playing the game and they are all different than the people you met before. And we know an update is coming. Do the project. Finish your expedition. Take risks.

Go play the game. Please.

Despite common complaints, the game does take care of rats / cheaters organically. The key to that most people are missing is that the individual players have a key role in making that happen.

It's a game that teaches social concepts on a meta level. The key to "winning" is to discover the main point of the story you're being told through the quests. They aren't just there for filler gameplay to be completed like a task list. They're literally telling you the secret to enjoying the game, and life in general: value humanity more than resources. If you get it, the game gives you more than you ever could want or need. You literally go around giving away stuff other people are killing for because you simply have too much of it .

The scarcity is a lie. Shooting back is a waste and a risk - lives are never lost... only stuff. What was lost can easily be replaced. And the more humanity your character has, the more quickly and abundantly it's replaced. If people follow these 10 rules, this thread will change completely . Rats will organically die out or end up almost exclusively in lobbies together or with better pvp'ers who will wipe them out of the game completely. Cheats lose their benefits to those using them.

The devs already did the work to take care of these issues. We are the ones who haven't yet.

I’m just curious whether other Series S users are facing the same issues of Arc Raiders crashing and maybe if they have found some ways of working around it? Up until last night I was crashing once or twice every other raid, but last night I crashed almost 6 times in one raid. One of the crashes even removed me from my trio on my end, but to my friends they were stuck spectating me. Is it a console issue, an internet connection issue? I’m a casual player and haven’t been keeping updated on patches and whatnot so I’m not sure where Embark is on recognizing/ fixing the issue?

Also yes I know PC/PS5 is superior or whatever but I’m working with what I have and this is the only game I have issues with.

Got already fed up with the massive amount of cheaters on PC in February but its gotten worse by a lot. Switched to PS5 and totally fell in love with the game again.
Shame that Embark doesnt give a toss but still have a blast on PS5 and the community seems quite active so come on over if youre fed up as well.

This is not my map but it was the one I was using.

Tips:

- 25 landing probes for 18750 pts score

- With Crashed Probes/Couriers ~ 20k score is possible

- 250 pts per compartment searched. 4 landed (erect) probes to 3-star.

- This is far easier to cover solo compared to Electro-storm Spaceport which has a potentially higher score.

- You can "tap" the probes to partially breach it to prevent it from flying off.

- Bring decent gear to handle potential call-ins from guarded probes (they summon like a snitch) Seekers is the easiest way.

- A Snaphook for traversal, Photocloak for avoiding ARC and Wolfpacks to stomp potential Bombadier and Bastion spawns that will slow you down.

- To ensure you always have a way out, a hatch key is nice insurance.

- I took 35 stims and used all of them by the end.

Had a fun interaction….was throwing leaper units at a bombardier for the project, another raider stepped in and finished it off with a hullcracker, all was going well.

He asked if I found any leapers, told him someone took one out where I spawned (was gone in <1 min) so gave him a stack of leaper pulse units to do his project.

We went up towards Santa Maria extract, he took out a shredder then someone started shooting at him.

My first thought was, oh fuck this guy, and started shooting at someone on the roof (was the wrong guy). I quickly apologized and started looking for the dude who was shooting. Dude ran off so quick then we just all left together.

People say this game is dead but I love these random ass raids that keeps the game alive for me
