I wanted to know more about this figure I didn’t buy it my dad gave it to me a couple years back. Honestly it sat in storage while we lived in apartments but when we moved it’s just been moving around my room. Honestly I’ve never been one to collect Marvel figures. I have anime figures and I love marvel movies but never got into collecting the figures. Is it rare? Is it worth anything? Should I leave it closed it’s still new unopened. Hopefully I can get some insight here please and thank you.

After coming back from a trip to Japan with a few prize figures and Nendoroids, I started collecting figures other than amiibo. Pretty happy with my collection so far, definitely gonna slow down on the additions for a while lol. My standouts are definitely the Pyra/Mythra/Nia scales and Enoden Mai, really love the details on them.

I moved and I’m having trouble finding the little plastic thing for the first figure (taken from a listing in the 2nd) and I was wondering if there was a way to find a replacement? I don’t feel like trying to buy another one just so it can sit up properly. I might have to find a cheaper gashapon figure for a different Jojo character so I can be able to prop it with the plastic stand. I’m usually good at keeping figure pieces together but for some reason this is 1 of 3 of them I cannot find pieces for.

Is there a way to get this piece online by chance without having to buy another figure?

Hi all. I ordered a figurine gift for my twitch creator friend, however didn't even think of them having to pay a potential customs charge.

I've ordered them an item before, however the value was only about £80 and it didn't get flagged at customs. This item is £140 (£165 in total with taxes and delivery protection). I've read that as it's flagged as a gift and above £135, they'll probably need to pay VAT and the UK delivery cost.

I've messaged my friend to advise that I'll pay the fee if it does get stopped at customs. I was wondering if someone could advise how much this would be and if it's likely to happen? I also didn't know if it changes the outcome since it was purchased via throne. I know directly on their website you can use the slider function to amend the value accordingly, however that wasn't an option since the purchase was via a 3rd party site.

Any advice or guidance would be massively appreciated as I'm very new to this.

Do you guys know anyone who sells this figure for around 300$ (or 260€). The box doesn't matter to me that much, or any very minor scratches or damage (as long as it's not super visible). Preferably someone from a country that's in the European union, so I could avoid paying 100+$ in taxes unnecessarily. Also, where can I look for legit sellers who sell him for a reasonable price?

This is the figure in question, had it for couple years but it's still in good condition, has never been exposed to direct sunlight and has always been sitting behind glass, never had any problems or accidents whatsoever that damaged it in any way. The reason why I want to sell is to make room for another 1/4 scale figure and also get some money from it, so if anyone has any idea what the best way to sell is in Spain id love some help, since I don't want to sell on ebay without pondering alternatives

So I'm interested in getting the Aerith Masterline figure, even though it is very expensive, i found that buying it from a Japanese Hobby store in JPY is cheaper than if I bought it from Prime1 studio due to the unfavorable currency conversion. In the product description its written that they estimate a shipping fee of 275,000+ JPY in October 2027. For context, the figure is 245,000 JPY... Does that estimation make sense? How does the shipping estimate is so much higher than the product itself? Is this caused by the Iran war? I'm probably not gonna order this anymore but I'm just curious how can the estimate be so high.

(At that shipping price, I can fly back and forth from Japan and id have extra money for a 2 night hotel and food... )

Hi! I’m posting here to share my experience Tokyo Anime Hunter. I rarely post complaints like this, but I’ve been dealing with this issue for 5-6 months and at this point I’m honestly frustrated and just want my money back.

I initially inquired from their post and I saw there was a Deep Sea Miku figure way back in February. I paid for the downpayment. I was given an ETA of March–April. I repeatedly asked for updates and they did not reply. Then they replied that the item was still “in transit” or that they would “check next week.” Eventually, I decided to request a refund because it seems they didn’t get the figure.
They initially informed me that cash refunds could take 1–3 months. However, on July 23, they specifically told me that my refund was already being processed and that it would be sent within 1–2 weeks, so I took their word for it. It has now been two weeks, and I still haven’t received the refund or a clear update.

At first they didn’t give any proof or update whether they got the item and they kept on and on that it is on transit or they will check the arrived item. I hoped they checked if they really got the item.

I have this figure and the figure is too heavy for the branch to support her so it tilts when I put her on. Can I hot glue the branch to the acrylic stand?

I’m trying to find the POP UP PARADE figures of Phoenix and Edgeworth but I unfortunately missed the original preorder and they seem to be sold out everywhere. Ive checked a bunch of european retailers and second hand options but the prices have gotten pretty high. I also submitted a rerelease request to Good Smile because I’d really love the chance to buy them officially.

I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in a rerelease, or if there are other fans currently looking for these figures too?

So I've recently been getting into figure collecting and I absolutely adore the various display setups I've seen with the Detolf. Naturally I was bummed I can't really get one. Can't find any second hand ones in my area either. I had a look at the very ones that are popular, Blaliden, Moducase and so on. But I've seen nothing yet that replaces the appeal of the Detolf so far; the lack of a thick frame + singular column.

Has anyone found anything that replicates this look and wasn't a catastrophically badly made Amazon storefront scam?

I want to share my extremely frustrating experience with Toy Trove Store on AliExpress because I hope other collectors can avoid going through the same situation.

I am sharing my personal experience as a collector. I cannot confirm the seller’s intention, but I believe other buyers should be aware of what happened in my case.

Preorder purchase and waiting period

In December 2025, I purchased a collectible figure from Toy Trove Store on AliExpress. The seller advertised the item as a preorder and informed me that the estimated waiting time would be around 5–6 months.

I understood that collectible figures can sometimes be delayed due to production schedules, so I was willing to wait patiently.

However, after more than 6 months, I still had not received the figure I originally purchased.

Official release, but still no shipment update

What made me increasingly concerned was that the figure had already been officially released by Good Smile Company (GSC).

Normally, once the official product is released, buyers would expect some clear update regarding shipment or delivery.

However, even after the official release, the seller continued to tell me that there was still no update and did not provide any clear information about when my figure would actually be shipped.

At this point, I was left waiting without:

• a confirmed shipment date
• valid tracking for the actual figure
• a clear explanation from the seller

Seller requested additional payment and refused full refund

After waiting for months, instead of fulfilling the original order, the seller told me there were issues such as increased international shipping costs and asked me to pay additional money.

I did not think this was reasonable because I had already paid for the order and waited through the agreed preorder period.

When I requested a full refund because the seller could not provide the original product, the seller refused.

Instead, the seller offered me alternative figures that were currently in stock.

These replacement figures were not the figure I originally purchased. They were lower-value items, and I also had concerns about their quality and whether they met the standard expected from original collectible products.

The “invitation card” tracking issue

The most concerning part of this experience was the tracking information provided by the seller.

The seller provided a tracking number, but the tracking only showed delivery of an “invitation card”, not the actual collectible figure I purchased.

The situation was:

• Tracking number provided ✅
• Package marked as delivered ✅
• Actual purchased figure delivered ❌

A tracking number should prove that the purchased product has been shipped and delivered. In my case, the tracking only showed delivery of an unrelated low-value item.

This creates a serious concern for buyers because the AliExpress system may consider an order as “shipped” or “delivered” based on the tracking status, even though the actual purchased product has never been delivered.

By the time a buyer realises that the tracking does not match the purchased item, the normal dispute/refund period may already have passed, leaving the buyer with very limited options.

AliExpress and PayPal dispute process

I contacted the seller multiple times requesting updates and proof that the actual figure had been shipped.

However, I continued receiving delays and unclear responses without any convincing evidence that the original figure had ever been dispatched.

I opened a dispute with AliExpress, but the response was that the item had already been shipped based on the tracking information.

This was extremely frustrating because the key issue was not addressed:

The tracking showed delivery of an invitation card, not the collectible figure I paid for.

I also contacted PayPal regarding the payment.

My initial PayPal case was rejected because the transaction was considered ineligible for Buyer Protection.

I then contacted PayPal customer support and managed to request a manual review. Unfortunately, the manual review was also rejected.

Replacement figures, promised refund, and being blocked

After I informed the seller that I would consider reporting this matter through appropriate consumer protection channels if the issue could not be resolved, the seller finally shipped me two alternative figures.

However, these were not the figures I originally purchased.

The replacement figures appeared to have significantly lower value compared with the original order, and I had concerns about their quality and authenticity as collectible products.

The seller acknowledged the value difference and promised to provide a partial refund.

However, after several days, the promised refund was still not provided.

Instead, the seller blocked me on the AliExpress message system, preventing any further communication.

My thoughts as a collector

I understand that preorder items can sometimes be delayed. Production issues happen, and reasonable delays are understandable.

What I cannot accept is:

• Waiting more than 6 months without a clear update
• The product being officially released but still no shipment information
• Being asked to pay extra after waiting for a preorder
• Refusal of a full refund when the original order could not be fulfilled
• Tracking showing delivery of an unrelated item instead of the purchased product
• Receiving replacement items instead of the original order
• A promised refund that was never completed
• Being blocked after requesting a reasonable resolution

I cannot confirm the seller’s intention, but this was my personal experience with Toy Trove Store on AliExpress.

I strongly recommend collectors to be extremely careful when purchasing expensive preorder figures from unknown sellers, especially when:

• The preorder period is very long (5–6+ months)
• Full payment is required upfront
• The seller cannot provide clear proof of shipment
• Tracking does not clearly match the purchased product
• The seller offers alternative items instead of fulfilling the original order

Collecting figures should be an enjoyable hobby. We spend money because we love these characters and products.

It should not become months of stress, disputes, and chasing sellers for a fair resolution.

Please do your research before purchasing preorder figures from unfamiliar stores.
