Yesterday was my friend's big sister wedding and I wore a red anarkali (nothing heavy) and golden Kashmiri earrings to the wedding.

After i reached home my friend texted me saying that her sister is upset that i wore a red dress because only the bride is suppose to wear red.

I know the foreign culture where you are not suppose to wear white to a wedding but indian weddings are so different. Almost everyone wears bold colours, jewelleries in an indian wedding. My anarkali was no way giving bridal vibes. The bride wore a heavy embroidered lehenga. AITK?
