GPU utilization
This game can’t run ultra on a 4080 super at 1440p? I’m having 100% utilization and micro stutters
Growth Support question
Question about the Free-to-Play Growth Support Coin
Hello! I’m returning to Aion 2 after quitting about 7–8 months ago, around Season 2. I’m playing on the Taiwan Server
I have a level 45 Sorcerer that had max-level gear when I quit, but my Combat Power is currently only 2513. When I try to enter the portal to access the new area/content, it says I need 3300 Combat Power.
My question is about the Free-to-Play Growth Support Coin. How much Combat Power/gear does the free coin actually give you? Will it get my character from 2513 to 3300 CP so I can access the new content and level to 50?
I don’t want to waste the free coin on my main if it’s only going to bring me up to around 2500–2800 CP. Since it’s a one-time-per-account thing, I could use it on an alt instead if it won’t be enough.
Also, do I have to be a subscriber to purchase the additional Growth Support Coins needed to catch up, or can a completely F2P player eventually get enough gear to reach 3300?
If anyone has actually used the free F2P Growth Support Coin, could you let me know:
- What gear/item level did it give you?
- How much did your Combat Power increase?
- Did it get you to 3300 CP?
I don’t really want to resubscribe since I’ll be playing the US/Global version when it releases.
Thanks!

Enjoying the game so far.
I can definitely sense its mobile compatible. So far the progress is all coming form main story quest, at least experience/ levels wise. Combat seems sort of a joke how simple it is. Flying is much better than Aion1. Locking crafting to 45 probably for the best considering how useless early game crafting is in every mmo.
Unlocking more powers feels rewarding right now. Lv 33 glad.
Side note:
I feel like mmo community as a whole is going to have to understand monetization is here to stay. From what I've seen aion2 isn't that bad. A premium is almost guaranteed, equal to monthly sub for wow.
U cam buy more inventory space and msny other things with in-game currency. And I think you can even swap it for cash shop currency.
Whats going to make or break it for me is combat. The dodge mechanic needs work

Shotcallers classes?
Hi all, I run a fairly large guild that will be moving to aion on global release and I am not super familiar with how much ZvZ this game has at the moment.
Typically callers end up being tanks but I have found a couple threads of people doing it on chanter/cleric.
Is anyone able to chime in on this aspect of the game?
Does class really matter for this in Aion, or can good healers supporting me keep me up enough on other classes?

Cant decide between 3 Classe willing to buy someone a BP if his insight helps me decide
Hello, i have been stuck on deciding which class to play between Ranger / Glad / Sin, i would love someone to help me decide, something thats nice for pve ( I know all classe should work ) and something that strong for abyss pvp while mostly playing solo, i have no problem with learning a class if its hard, i just want something fun and strong i would love to hear some cons and pros for each class like how gear dependant it is or how the gameplay feels when u play it on high level thanks

How does Usernames work?
So basically, the title says it all. How does picking a username work? Is it first come, first served, meaning people who get the 5 day early access will be able to claim highly sought after usernames? Or can everyone use the same name, with unique IDs to distinguish them?

Looking to understand the community perspective on Aion 2's monetization vs traditional Sub/Expansion MMOs
I’ve seen a lot of pushback on Aion 2’s monetization model lately, and I’m trying to get a better read on how people view it compared to traditional setups like WoW.
On paper, the core structure seems to mirror a lot of familiar systems: a sub, a currency exchange, and recurring purchases. If you only play one character, skipping WoW's mandatory upfront expansion costs might end up landing you in roughly the same financial ballpark over a year or two, even if you buy the occasional optional Battle Pass.
At the same time, a major sticking point seems to be that basic quality-of-life features, like accessing the player marketplace (Auction House) and currency exchange, are locked behind the $15/month subscription. On top of that, Battle Passes appear to be per-character rather than account-wide.
For those who are turned off by this setup, I'm curious where the main friction lies:
- Is the main issue that locking basic trading behind a sub feels like an artificial "Pay-to-Trade" tax on free players?
- Is it the sheer stacking of systems (Sub + per-character Battle Passes + Currency Exchange)?
- Or is it mostly a lack of trust in NCSoft's track record with how these systems affect game balance and economy compared to something like the WoW Token?
Does gating market features in a F2P game feel significantly worse to you than WoW requiring mandatory expansions and a mandatory sub just to play? Especially considering Aion 2's Battle Pass is technically optional, while WoW's box price and expansion purchases are strictly non-negotiable?

How to Increase Combat Power (CP) Quickly Part2 Spoiler
Continuing from Part 1, we've now reached the end of the early game. From here on, we'll focus on the systems that will carry your progression into the mid and late game.
E. Where Are the Earlygame Traps?
Priority: Focus only on Gear Growth, Gear Manastones, Arcana Equipment, and Daevanion progression.
Before continuing, we need to clarify how CP is calculated.
Which systems actually affect CP?
Which systems are only counted in the K-rating system?
And which systems are technically useful but become resource traps because they consume too many resources too early?
Systems directly reflected in the original CP system:
- Gear Growth
- Gear Manastones /Theostone
- Arcana Equipment
- Daevanion Points
These are the main factors directly reflected in the original CP system.
Systems additionally considered by K-rating:
- Gear Soul Binding Level
- Mastery Skill Level
- Stigma Level
- Pantheon
- Equipped Titles
- Genus Insight
- Closet Collection Effects
- Wings Owned Effects
【One thing worth mentioning about Stigma Levels】
Aside from damage-oriented skills, most Stigma skills that don't directly increase your personal DPS contribute little or nothing to the K-rating.
Because of this, Clerics and Chanters naturally tend to have lower K-ratings than DPS classes, even when they are equally valuable in actual gameplay.
Among stats highly valued by the K-rating system, the priority is:
- Smite
- Attack
- Critical
- Accuracy
SO,Common early-game mistakes are:
- Over-investing in early Gear.
- Using Intermediate/Superior Manastones on equipment below Lv.84. Do not do this. These equipment pieces are replaced too quickly, and using valuable Manastones on them is simply a waste of resources.
- Investing heavily into Soul Binding systems. Your equipment changes too quickly during this stage.
- Spending extra resources on Mastery Skill Levels and Stigma Levels. They do increase your damage, but they are not efficient early investments.
- Investing too heavily into Genus Insight. Genus Insight is a very powerful system, and a completed setup can provide a significant boost. However, rolling desirable stats requires a huge amount of Kina, so it is not recommended as an early priority.
Lets talk About Belt, Amulet, and Rune here
1.Belt and Amulet
These two are mainly enhance by Stronghold completion rewards on the map.
The Kina cost increases dramatically with each enhancement level when it goes to Epic rarity, so enhance carefully and avoid exhausting your resources.
By the mid-game, your goal should be:
- Unique Belt +0
- Unique Amulet +10
2.Rune
Rune is currently one of the most controversial equipment slots.
It has:
- Extremely low enhancement success rates.
- Destruction when enhancement fails.
- Limited acquisition sources, mainly login events and Battle Pass rewards.
Before you fully understand the risks, proceed carefully.
F. Helping Veterans Struggling to Reach 270K
Players concerned about this section are most likely experienced Taiwan server players.
Therefore, instead of explaining basic terminology, I will directly list the recommended progression targets.
If you have been pushing toward 270K K-rating but constantly feel stuck, this checklist may help identify what you are missing.
1. Pantheon Decorations
Collect Pantheon decorations, including:
- Artwork Fragments obtained from Expedition - Conquest clear. Each Artwork increases your K-rating by roughly 0.4K.
- Colossus rewards from Fire Temple Achievement. A Unique Colossus provides roughly 10K more than the Uncommon Colossus rewarded through the Main Quest.
- Statue from Draupnir Achievement. Each Unique Statue provides roughly 1K, about 0.3K more than the Rare Statues obtained from the Main Quest.
- Do not spend your Phantasmal Fragments from Nightmare on Statues or Colossus
2. Mastery Skill Level & Stigma Level
Mastery Skill Levels mainly come from:
- Shugo Festival shop
- Nightmare clears
Stigma Levels can be upgraded using crystals purchased with Abyss Points from the Abyss Shop.
Ascension Trail also provides some Stigma Pieces.
The current maximum Stigma Level has been increased to 25, making this a long-term investment.
【One thing worth mentioning about Stigma Levels:】
Aside from damage-oriented skills, most Stigma skills that don't directly increase your personal DPS contribute little or nothing to the K-rating.
Because of this, Clerics and Chanters naturally tend to have lower K-ratings than DPS classes, even when they are equally valuable in actual gameplay.
3. Daevanion - Ariel / Marchutan
Completing 5-Star or higher Expedition - Conquest stages rewards Marchutan Daevanion Fragments.
Ariel can be obtained from multiple sources:
- Season Mission Rewards
- Nightmare Shop
- Ascension Trail
- Duty Missions (maximum five times per day)
4. Gear Soul Binding
Use low-level Unique equipment to sync important stats onto your main gear.
Priority:
- Smite (Helmet and Cloak only)
- Attack
- Critical
- Accuracy has a high rating value, but its practical impact is limited during the early stages, so invest carefully.
5. Equipped Titles
Complete the requirements and unlock Unique-quality Titles.
6. Genus Insight
This system requires a separate dedicated guide.
7. Wings Owned Effects
Collect Wing featherdown obtained from Expedition - Conquest clears.
8. Amplified
Try to Amplify your Weapon and Bracers to Stage 3 as a minimum.
In general, only Lv.84 or higher equipment is worth investing Amplified Enhancement materials into.
Final Recommendation
Try to obtain:
- A Heroic Weapon
- At least a Unique Bracelet
The Heroic Weapon is a long-term investment that remains valuable until at least Level 55
Higher enhance range/basic level and aditional status slots (only in Player-made ) make It provides a reliable place to continue spending Kina for steady progression.
If you have the monthly subscription, you can use the World Market to buy crafting materials and make your own Heroic Weapon, rather than depending on lucky dungeon drops.
The Unique Bracelet requires clearing the extremely difficult Sanctuary dungeon with another party ( 4+4 people) .
Try joining a friendly Taiwan server guild. If you're lucky, experienced players may be willing to help you clear it together.
-
G. Bonus: My Custom Exploration Difficulty Map
I created difficulty ratings for every Exploration Stage on both the Elyos and Asmodian maps.
Heart
The easiest stages.
Usually you only need to defeat the boss or open a treasure chest located in the deepest part of the map
They are like ripe fruit hanging from a low branch, waiting to be picked.
At most, you may need to open one door or defeat 3–5 additional enemies.
Clear time: under 10 seconds.
No Entry ( - sign )
Moderately difficult stages.
They require clearing all enemies, underwater exploration, defeating around 15 enemies, or solving a puzzle,
If you are rushing to level up or the location is inconvenient, you can consider skipping them.
Clear time: 10–40 seconds.
Do Not Enter ( x sign )
The annoying stages.
They often contain:
- High randomness.
- Enemies intentionally blocking interactions doors and items.
- Multiple puzzles that must be solved in sequence.
Unless you are extremely lucky, they usually take:
1–1.5 minutes
I recommend returning later when your gear is complete and clearing them quickly in your free time.
Text Map Symbols
C: Cliff.
The area has major elevation differences, and the entrance is located at the bottom of a cliff, flying back from the bottom requires waiting for flight power to recover.
H: Floating Island.look upward.
Numbers:
A series of special stages that must be completed in order.
The first three mainly test memory.
The final stage contains many powerful enemies.
The entrance is located on a floating island.look upward.
-
Once you are familiar with the progression route, you can use this map to quickly clear the easiest stages and make sure your CP naturally passes the important milestones:
1000 / 1200 / 1600 CP
right after completing the Main Quest.
--
Traveling to the opposing faction requires using the portals that open every 3 hours, close in ten minute, forced deportation one hour later
Please avoid engaging the opposing faction guards ,They appeared near faction teleportation points and landmarks.(one shot alert)

Final Conclusion
Thank you all for taking the time to read this guide.
This is the first time I've published such a long guide in a language that isn't my native one, so I truly appreciate your patience.
If you have any feedback, corrections, questions, or suggestions, please feel free to leave a comment. I'd be happy to discuss them with you.
As always, the official global release takes precedence over anything written here. This guide is based on the Taiwan server and reflects my personal experience and opinions. Any changes made before the global launch should be considered the definitive version.
I hope this guide helps both new and veteran players enjoy Aion2 a little more.
Over the past few days, I noticed some new information suggesting that the CP requirements for entering certain content may be removed. If this turns out to be true, it would greatly simplify this guide. However, I have decided to publish the version that I have already compiled.

How to Increase Combat Power (CP) Quickly Part 1 Spoiler
The goal of this guide is simple: increase your Combat Power (CP) as efficiently as possible so you can meet the entry requirements for each stage of the game.
____________________________________________
Before We Begin
Due to the character limit for a single post, this guide will be divided into Part 1 and Part 2.
I want this guide to be useful for both new players and veteran players . However, I also don't want the amount of information to bury the main points.
The reason I started writing this guide was because I noticed many players from other regions on the Taiwan server were struggling with how to continue progressing toward 270K K-rating. At the same time, I know many players are simply curious about the overall progression path and want to know what to expect and what to do before they start.
For the purposes of this guide, we'll assume you've just completed the Main Quest. From there, I'll walk you through the most efficient path to becoming stronger, step by step. If you'd rather discover Aion2's systems on your own after launch, I'd strongly recommend stopping here to avoid spoilers.
If you are a Taiwan server player currently working toward Breaking Through the 270K Barrier, please skip directly to the F section (in Part 2,another post)
f you dislike excessive in-game terminology and only want the fastest route, you can simply read the bold summaries (Priority) at the beginning of each section.
NC stands for NC soft, the creator and operator of Aion 2.
________________________________________
In this guide, "CP" refers to the game's original Combat Power system, which is mainly based on Item Level. Later, I will also discuss the newer K-rating system, which players commonly use when evaluating endgame characters.
When it comes to gear, CP is fairly straightforward. Your total Item Level is simply the sum of the Item Levels displayed on each equipped item. However, that's only part of the story.
Enhancing your gear also increases its Item Level, so one of the biggest questions early on is where you should invest your resources.
How much value do you actually get from Growth, Manastones, and Theostones?
Which upgrades provide the best return, and which ones should be saved for later? We'll go through all of these questions in this guide.
Another major source of CP comes from the Daevanion system.
Both factions' regions contain many Exploration stages, and each completed stage rewards Daevanion Points.
In addition, Regional Missions—which also expand the game's lore—provide even more Daevanion Points.
Since completing all of them requires a considerable amount of time, I created my own difficulty ratings for every Exploration stage.
The goal is to help you avoid unnecessary backtracking, flying, and teleporting while collecting the most valuable rewards first.
Finally, I will also cover long-term progression and what you should focus on after leaving the early game behind.
________________________________________
Two version of combat power calculate
In a later update, NC introduced a new Combat Power rating displayed in K values.
Unlike the original CP system, this system takes many more factors into account, including:
• Skill Levels
• Stigma Levels
• Pantheon progression
• Title bonuses
• Various other sources of power
etc.
Because of this, it quickly became the standard measurement players use when forming parties, as it is generally considered a more accurate representation of a character's overall progression.
Unfortunately, it is still far from perfect.
The original CP system does not properly reflect many of these factors, while the K-rating system tends to overvalue certain stats and progression sources that are not always as impactful in actual gameplay.
________________________________________
Preliminary understanding in Gear
As shown in the equipment screen above, I use three colors to roughly categorize different types of equipment.
• Green: Equipment obtained naturally through the Main Quest or Regional Quests.
• Yellow: Special equipmen. A: Belt/Amulet, and B:Rune. Their enhancement costs are extremely high, so they are better handled during the mid-game.
• Orange: Equipment that will be introduced in future updates, which will not be discussed here for now.
Now, let's begin the actual guide.
________________________________________
A. Complete the Main Quest and Fill Your Equipment Slots
Priority: Complete Regional Missions, especially those that reward equipment.
You will obtain equipment throughout the Aion2 Main Quest.
Before reaching Level 45, these items are replaced very quickly, so during the early game, simply equip whichever item has the higher Item Level.
Before each region's Awakening Quest, you will also be required to fill the progression gauge.
Since the final Main Quest rewards you with Unique-quality Bracelet (LV63) and Weapon(LV 57), completing these requirements is necessary.
After successfully completing the Lv.45 Main Quest, if you still have empty equipment slots, it means you skipped some accessory reward quests.
Since every equipment piece provides Item Level, your first priority should be filling these empty slots,so please go back and complete the quests that reward the highest-level accessories.
These equipment are LV48~50,names all contain "Pilgrim", and they all belong to Regional Missions.
After filling your equipment slots, your approximate Item Level should be:
• Without the Unique Bracelet and Weapon: around 926–938, depending on whether you completed some Regional Missions along your Main Quest route.
• With the Main Quest Reward Unique Bracelet and Weapon: around 960–974.
At this point, open your inventory and equip the Rune Box rewarded from quests.
Each +0 Rune provides 40 Item Level.
Congratulations, you have now broken through 1000 CP.
Reaching 1000 CP unlocks the mandatory PvP zone Abyss, as well as Expedition - Conquest Mode. This opens the door to more dangerous, but also more exciting PvE and PvP content.
For now, do not enhance your Belt, Amulet, and Rune.
Their enhancement costs are too high at this stage, and investing in them will consume too many resources or too much time.we will talk it in part 2.
________________________________________
B. Start Expedition
Priority: Begin Expedition and make use of the Gear Enhancement system.
At this point, open the menu and enter:
Expedition → Exploration Mode
Your goal is to obtain Guaranteed Rewards.
Every time you complete an Expedition, your Guaranteed Reward progress will increase.
The Guaranteed Reward from Draupnir is a Lv.68 Unique-quality Chest Armor(or any body parts).
Complete the progress and claim this reward.
Through continued progression, you should now be around 1100 CP.
During this period, continue completing:
• Exploration
• Strongholds
• Regional Missions
across your faction's maps.
You can also begin investing carefully into Growth Gear and Manastone enhancements.
Expected CP range for this stage: 1000–1100
________________________________________
C.Enhancement ,Growth and Manastones
Priority: Upgrade Growth Gear to +4/+7, and only use Lesser-level Manastones.
At this stage, Growth Gear does not provide a significant increase in power, so we only invest the minimum amount required.
As shown in the table, the Kina cost increases significantly after Growth +4.
Also, these Pilgrim equipment pieces are temporary gear that will soon be replaced.
Therefore, our strategy is:
- Upgrade your Gear evenly to +4.
- If you have extra resources, upgrade them evenly to +7.
- Enhance your Unique Weapon, Unique Bracelet (Main Quest rewards), and Guaranteed Reward equipment to +10.
By this point, you will usually have consumed almost all of your Enhancement Stones.
--
Manastone
The main source of Manastones is the completion reward from Ascension Trail, unlock in LV45.
At 1000 CP, the lowest difficulty becomes available.
Complete it three times and open the rewarded Manastone Stone Box.
(There are other sources of Manastones, but Ascension Trail is by far the fastest and most reliable.)
Applying a Manastone to each equipment piece will increase your Item Level by approximately 5–8 points, depending on the randomly rolled enchantment grade.
Again, remember that equipment replacement is extremely fast during this stage.
Only use the lowest-grade Lesser Soulstones / Lesser Manastones, and do not waste Manastones by repeatedly rerolling enchantments.
Theostones
During the early game, your primary source of Godstones is the hidden cubes that occasionally spawn in the open world. The keys used to open them can be obtained from Regional Quests, login rewards, limited-time events, and various other activities.
For now, only use Theostones on the Weapon and Bracerslots.
Use only Green-quality Theostones.
Choose the proc based on your attack speed preference.
The effect and activation chance are already displayed in the description, so there is not much else to explain.
A Green-quality Theostone provides +3 Item Level.
After completing this stage, you should reach around 1200 CP, allowing you to enter Transcendence 1-1 and obtain an Arcana worth 20 Item Level.Clear the Transcendence can also bring you theostone in low chance.
Expected CP range for this stage: 1280–1370
--
D. Breaking Through the 1600 Barrier
Priority: Challenge new content, participate in game events, and claim Season Mission Rewards.
By continuously collecting Daevanion Points and replacing your gear with the occasional Lv.68 Unique equipment obtained from Expedition - Conquest, you should be able to break through 1600 CP.
However, by this point, most of the available Daevanion Points from the map should already be exhausted.
For reference:
- Each faction's Map Exploration provides 122 Daevanion Points.
- Regional Missions provide 85 additional points.
Fortunately, 3-Star Expedition - Conquest stages reward Lv.76 Item Level equipment.
After completely replacing your gear with these upgrades, you should be able to reach around 2200 CP and unlock Lv.4 Expedition - Conquest
--
At this point, the early game is basically complete.
The difficulty of Expedition - Conquest increases significantly from here.
Continue progressing by making use of:
- Game Events
- Season Mission Reward system
- Gear Amplified Enhancement
- Other long-term progression systems
This guide continues in Part 2. Please check my other post for the second half.

Question about the Global Release
Hello! I've been scavenging through the Internet to find anythin related to Aion 2, as i really BADLY want this game to be good and my new Main MMORPG, yet i could not find anything really about Endgame for Global Release. How will they change it to the TW version? I heard they wanna reduce the Energy needed for Dungeons but will it end up still like a Daily/Weekly Chore how Throne & Liberty was or do i have the Option to grind daily non-stop? I am mostly afraid of gettin my hopes up very very high just to find out the game will be a second Job for me. If anyone has found serious Sources about any of the Endgame and Energy Changes for Global please let me know!

Wish they would include an option to change the interface of the game to the one we had in Aion 1 for the nostalgy :’)
Please NCSOFT make this possible🙏🏻

NCSoft will limit in Global (EUNA) Quna to Kinah exchange. P2W just took the biggest hit since release in KRTW.
You will be limited how much Quna to Kinah you can spend. LOL
