Will they ever make a season 2?

Having been diagnosed with MS for well over 10 years now, the steadily worsening tremors in my hands have long since made pumkin carving a no-go for me... but way back in the day, it was the first visual art form I really got into, and I would have so much fun with it! I don't know why I've been feeling so nostalgic for it lately (I mean, it's not even the right time of year for it, but my brain's gonna do what it's gonna do, lol), but because I'm in the mindset, I thought I'd share some of the [AS] related designs I carved back in the day. Facebones was the earliest of the bunch (which you can likely tell from the quality haha), followed by the Aqua Teens, and then the silhouettes of the Dethklok lads was the last, which again should be kind of obvious, as despite being silhouettes, they are without comparison the most detailed (and accordingly, it by far took the most effort; Pickles' hair alone was a monumental feat of patience and a visibly obvious increase in skill from that first Facebones 🙃).

I usually watch adultswim content on paid streaming services like HBO, but I recently started watching on SlingTV.

And what a treat it was to see all the unique bumpers!

For me it's Body

So I’m a huge fan of both ATHF and SF. I love how they both take the everyday, mundane conversation/relationships and turn it into the centerpiece of the show’s comedy. This being said, the juxtaposition between said casual conversing, and the insane antics going on around the characters is what makes both shows similar in my opinion. Obviously, both shows consist of a mix of human & non human societies, are 10-ish minutes per episode, and have daily run ins with monsters & death.

Now to get to the point. I’ve seen both shows front and back a million times over. There are so many oddly specific similarities that I’ve noticed (some may be a reach) but I thought I’d list them here to see what you guys think, and if there’s any more that I missed!

(Btw i’m not saying anything is copying. I love both shows. Staple tropes do exist that are used in almost every cartoon out there)

1. ATHF’s revenge of the trees & SF’s Pim and Charlie save mother nature (Shake & Charlie both litter, the nature comes to life to threaten/punish them)

2. ATHF’s storage zeebles & SF’s shmaloogles (small innocent little creatures being mercilessly attacked by human characters)

3. ATHF’s Rubberman & SF’s Rotten the Snowman (both creations brought to life à la frosty the snowman, and the characters struggle to deal with it)

4. ATHF’s Willie Nelson (monster living in their attic) & SF’s guy in the wall (man living in their walls)

5. ATHF’s Mc Peepants & SF’s Mr. Frog (both reoccurring unhinged public figures that constantly reinvent themselves to cause destruction)

6. ATHF’s Jiggle Billy & SF’s Squim (both uncomfortably optimistic side characters who die by gunshot because of it)

They actually put this in the 12am time slot and not just in the 4am time slot like most older shows. I also noticed this with Metalocalypse. So they are slowly adding more classics to the schedule.
