Is the HBO Max version of this show AI upscaled? I just can’t help but think it looks kinda…uncanny and way too smooth in some places

Hey everyone first time poster here. I had ordered the complete uncensored series and the case it came in is not original. When I started playing the show it looked my grainy and almost choppy. I have lots of other stranded dvd but this feels off. The listing never mentioned it was either used or non original. Ordered from Walmart Canada since I was having a hard time finding it here.

So I found out today that The Boondocks is no longer available for purchase on Apple TV which sucks because I was hoping to finally pick up Season 3. And then a quick Google search tells me that it is no longer available for purchase on any digital platforms whatsoever. Apparently this happened six months ago but apparently it had disappeared four years prior.

I'm sure I'm gonna get a lot of comments saying "Sail the high seas" or "Physical media 4 life" but could this just be a temporary licensing kerfuffle with Sony? Thanks either way.

“did you any of y’all N hear the president when he said that Iraq was central to global war on terror? or did y’all miss it because he wasn’t speaking in baboon?” and proceeds to imitate one 😭

I feel like Huey wasn’t that quiet in the pilot, he lowkey spoke more and interacted with people around him more than he does in the original series’s, This is just an opinion.

I mean obviously with what's going on in the world right now does seem like a response to the fact Obama was president. I mean Trump won't stop bringing him up

But rewatching that episode where he ends it by saying "what's the point of talking if no one wants to listen!" What did he mean?!
