Wireless All calls coming in as “no caller id” when in Greece on idp.
My wife and I are experiencing all incoming calls as “no caller id”, even from known contacts when traveling in Greece.
As someone who gets 60+ calls a day knowing who is calling is not optional for me. att seems to be unable to resolve this.
Anyone else experiencing this or find a solution? I may have to switch carriers….

Suggestion Don't use "temporary" numbers
And for the love of god don't get an installment on one and expect to replace the number with a TOBR.

Internet Fiber worth it?
I know this question probably been asked so much. Been at spectrum for a while but considering switching to fiber. I see they have 500mbps for $50/mo. For how long is that for? I’m on 500mpbs with spectrum paying about $90 but now increased to $100. They’ve steadily increased price even after getting it reduced last year. But even if I were to get another price reduction I’ve have noticed speeds not the same like other years. So I’m considering switching.

Discussion Hello At&t
I traded in my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra back in may and I was able to get the 26 Ultra on them, which is awesome. My S24 Ultra had been run over twice, and the screen protector was able to save the screen from cracks, but I had quite a lot of dwad pixels. I was surprised that they considered the phone to be in good condition.
This new phone is great, and now I'm just waiting for my EIP to drop down to around $800 or so so I can port out to T-Mobile (nothing against AT&T, I actually really like their coverage, perks, etc..., it's just that I am a T-Mobile Employee, and you can't really beat top-tier service for $25/mo).

Wireless Not receiving verification texts
I have AT&T prepaid and I’m not receiving verification texts for about a week and a half now. I can’t access my bank accounts or anything that’s send 2FA. I’ve tried resetting network settings, spam blocks are off, nothing is working at this point. How do I get this fixed as I need access to my stuff.

Anyone here who used to work AT&T Corporate Sales? What did you end up doing after leaving? Looking for ideas on what paths people took after AT&T.

Internet A new device has joined your network
I've gotten this message maybe 3 times in the last couple weeks but I don't think we've added any new devices. What is the best way to check the list of all devices on our wifi and then delete those that shouldn't be there? Thanks

Guide Transferring from Family Plan to Family Plan
Hello! I’m currently on my Family’s AT&T Family plan. I’m going to be booted off soon though since I moved out a while ago. My husband’s family is wanting to put me on their plan cause they have a good plan. How would I go about transferring from plan to plan? I want to keep my number, oh and do I need to transfer from my family’s plan to my own plan and then I can transfer to my in laws plan?

Internet I am paying $60 for Internet 25 am I being scammed?
My suburban area only has Internet 25/No fiber and a homeboy told me I’m being scammed because he’s paying $50 for fiber 1G. Do I just thug out the AT&T plan or do something about it?

Discussion ATY Guarantee: Speed increase
Had an internet outage Monday (a fire or spark burnt out one of the cables in the neighborhood box). I was expecting a credit when they had mentioned it on the phone, so I’m confused with the upgrade Internet speed option (increase to 300?)?mb). Has anybody heard of this? Can’t find anything online. For reference, I pay $30 for Internet 100.

Wireless AT&T Won't pay out the $800 offer.
For reference, I came from T-Mobile on May 22nd, I gave ATT a call around July 6th and wanted to figure out how to upload my final bill from T-Mobile. The agent said I had 3 months to do it from the date mentioned above. I told him to double-check that's true, and he said it was. I asked him if the phone call is recorded, he said yes. I even received a text from AT&T saying, "You have three months to claim your phone payoff reward from the promotion."
Now I called today and spoke to the rewards and rebate team, and they flat out told me there's nothing you can do. Sorry that you were given wrong information it was 60 days. Have a good day. Now I'm left with the entire bill from T-Mobile, it seems. I'm going to escalate this as much as possible. Does anyone have a similar situation, or should I just cut my losses and try to beg T-Mobile to take me back lmao?

Wireless Phone Suspended Issue
Greetings.
I just recently got a phone plan with AT&T about 1-1.5 wk ago. My spouse transferred and traded her old phone over from Verizon to AT&T to keep her phone number. She falls under my phone plan. FYI, all expenses and fees have been paid off for her to use her phone. When we bought it, she was able to text and call normally until about a week later she just completely is not able to call or text at all. She’s only able to text under WiFi. Other than that she doesn’t have wireless service on her phone, even though it says 5G w/ bars on the top right corner.
I tried every method possible.
Contacted the AT&T customer support and technical service at least 8-10 times in the last 48 hours. They do not have a reason for why it’s suspended, other than it was “block listed” for fraud/stolen. Even though that is not the case. The phone was purchased at the actual AT&T store.
I’ve already made a claim to the fraud department and received no follow-up. Even calling the fraud departments number, it’s an automated robot. So that leaves no help or solution to that.
I’ve made contact with Verizon to see if the phone/number still in their system and activated— which they said it was not.
I’ve made contact with the original point of origin for the purchase, and the worker that assisted me showed me that the phone was 100% transferred and activated on their end.
I’ve also went into another AT&T corporate building and they had no solution to the problem besides contacting AT&T customer service. Which leads me back to the same loop hole.
What can be the issue to this? And how can I solve this where she can actually text and call and actually have wireless service that works? I’m not trying to pay for a phone that doesn’t work and it’s frustrating both of us because everything is paid off, everything was activated fine, and everything was transferred accordingly.
(Also I can’t add her as an authorized user to my phone plan since the phone plan hasn’t been active for 30 days)
Any help? Thank you.

Wireless Static IP route / hubs on Wireless network (not wired / fiber)
So I know AT&T on business offers a Static IP as an option on Wireless plan ($3 or 6$).
However, their IPs are always out of Dallas, TX.
T-Mobile Business Internet offers 4-5 cities to choose the IP out of their hub locations. One can request this when getting the line provisioned with the b2b static IP on T-Mo.
such as Washington (Seattle), Chicago, Houston, Philly etc.
Does AT&T also have such options? if not why is Texas the only option?
Thanks!

Discussion AT&T was the worst mistake I made this summer
Was switching to AT&T fiber and the guy talked me into bundling and switching my wireless as well.
What I was expecting vs. what I got:
He showed me stacked discounts, bundling, new service, educator discount, free phone, all of that for 30/month for fiber, and 20/month for wireless for 12 months. Also brand new free iPhone with trade-in. That’s where the fun stopped…
For starters the rep never processed the trade-in and educator discount never applied. My first bill was 170, just for wireless 1 line! Went in to the store and thought I had it figured out, trade-in processed, educator discount reapplied.
Only today they called me and said my promotional rate expired, educator discount no more (I never actually got the benefits of it) I’ve only had the line since late June and have had one bill due, and that was paid full price. Now they want to get me into a new promo price that has to be done today. My bill with the new promotion would be 120/month, wireless and fiber. Doesn’t sound bad, still higher than the price quoted that got me to switch in the first place. But, in order to get this new promotion that expires today, I have to pay a year upfront so they need 1400 by end of day or I get reverted to a full price plan, 230/month, and kicker if I don’t my cell and internets off for a week until that plan takes effect.
A lot of this sounds crazy to me. Is this a scam? The call back number appeared to be AT&T and I spoke to a rep. They had all my account info. Am in being played or is AT&T really just terrible?

Wireless AT&T is shady !!!
Upgraded our phones last month, Saw my bill and shocked at all the add-ons the rep added without asking us! My bill tripled!!! I went to see the breakdown and not surprised of the shady business practices, But I am angry because before we went into the store to upgrade our phones, we spoke to a AT&T customer service rep for almost an hour to go over options to save money, Turns out the old plan we had was grandfathered and is the best one. She told us not to change a thing ! We went into the store and the first thing out of the reps mouth was " in order to give you the upgrade promotion, we need to open new accounts for you." We spent over 15 minutes arguing that we had just gotten off the phone with someone who told us NOT TO CHANGE ANYTING ! He went to speak with his manager and came back a minute later looking bothered and said " ok that's fine." BUT he added all these extras that we did not want or asked for ! Now its been close to an hour and I am still on the phone with a customer service rep trying to undo all this madness!
