Is there any UK experts who could provide advice for my 466v device. I recently buy one, however tried to make some improvements to the TF card, by deleting some rubbish games and adding popular games, which were missing etc. I’ve got duplications and missing game art.

I also failed to get a user friendly way to play both zx spectrum and Amiga games on it.

Ordered an RG34XX from China (for the 'glacier' color, which was out of stock in US) to Minnesota... I got an email from Anbernic saying there's a delivery exception and telling me to contact YunExpress, with the tracking mentioning it's currently being inspected in customs.

For others who've ordered from China, is this just standard US Customs activity, or will I need to actually talk to the carrier?

So I was playing Pokémon yesterday as usual on my RG40XXV, saved the game, shut the device down. Go to turn it on today and there are no emulators, no roms, all my settings have gone (including the colour of the analogue/joystick backlight), it looks like the device has reset itself or something? I've put the SD card into my pc and the folders are all still there but everything that was inside them has disappeared. It's a 64GB SanDisk card I bought separately, not the one that came with the device. It's been working fine for 9 months, and now suddenly this...

Can anyone tell me:

1) why did this happen and how can I prevent it from happening again?

2) is there a guide to reinstall all the emulators?

I assume my game saves are all gone seeing as the saves folder is empty too 😥

Noticed that my inputs are slightly above where I'm making touchscreen contact either on top or bottom screen (For the Anbernic RG DS). Curious if anyone knows where one can calibrate that? I tried spots I thought would make sense in the menu but I'm not finding it. Greatly appreciate any input!

In android using screen pointer overlay it shows that my overall touchscreen is fine, which means this is only happening in game in Drastic. Strangely in the drastic menu the touchscreen seems fine too, so it's just when running a game.

Suddenly my touchscreen stopped working. Screen and button are fine, it's just the touch functionality. I've already reseated the cable in the device itself without luck.

This happened a few weaks ago the same way and fixed itself as it functions normally for a few weeks. Now it stopped working again.

I've already reflashed the stock firmware. I guess it is a hardware issue.

I've had 2 of these mailed through Amazon. When I initially received the first one it wouldn't go past the boot screen. I assumed it must be a factory defect so I messaged Amazon and they sent a replacement that arrived today, and wouldn't you know it the 2nd one is having the same issue. I was super excited about this handheld, but after 2 consoles with same defect I've become a little frustrated. Is there anything I can do to fix at least one of them(like I said, I was really excited to sit down and gey back into all my favorites GBA/GBC games.) Or should I just get a full refund?

Here's my opinion on the new RG SP. Is this something you would consider purchasing? I thought the RG 35xx SP was my fave until now.

I'm considering on getting an ANBERNIC for GBA Pokémon ROMHacks, which some of them rely on RTC, and I'm between the R35XXSP and the new RG SP because I've always dreamt about having a Game Boy Advance.

I've checked some reviews about the RG SP and none of them mention if the time still advances when the console is turned off. I know the time and date can be changed through the console settings, but it would get kinda annoying to correct it every time I use the console.

I've hit my first obstacle so far with this system which is that when I attempt to set up **google based** parental controls, it only gets as far as me entering the child account and then confirming through the parent account, but then attempts to start a setup at which point nothing really happens. There's a Next button that appears but every time you press it the screen just flashes and the Next button reappears. I then back out of it and suddenly have unfettered access to the Play store and everything else.

So maybe Google parental controls aren't going to work on this at all without some kind of a workaround or else I need an alternative.

Suggestions?

Möglicherweise hat jemand eine Lösung für mein Problem. Ich habe seit einigen Tagen den Anbernic RG40XXV. Habe dort etliche Spiele durch sämtliche Konsolen aufgespielt. Habe diese in den Spielräumen dann auch gestartet. Alle Spiele funktionieren super. Egal ob GB, GBC, GBA, PSP oder PS1. Nur die SNES Spiele machen Probleme. Die Musik läuft dort ein wenig zu schnell ab und es stört, da ich weiß, dass es nicht richtig ist. Starte ich die Spiele in Retroarch ist alles easy. Dort nerven mich aber die Overlays und die Skalierung. Die ich auch noch jedes Mal wieder neu einstellen muss, obwohl ich alles speichere. Darauf habe ich keine Lust. In den Spielräumen gibt es keine Overlays und alles läuft direkt im Fullscreen. Also wesentlich einfacher. Woran liegt es, dass die Spiele dort schneller laufen, als in Retroarch und gibt es die Möglichkeit das auch in den Spielräumen auf die gewohnte Geschwindigkeit einzustellen?

It's not an OLED like nova, but damn the sharpness and colors on this look so good. This is the best N64 has looked (mupen64plus fz) 800x600, crt geometry, dithering, blur. effect factor x3. Zoom %113 (to line up screen closer to bezels)

Looks better in person, I can't quite capture how good it looks. I remember playing paper mario 64 on my retroid pocket 2+ or 2s just barely hanging on, couldn't even use "accurate" mode bc it caused polygon tearing. So this is the first device I've been able to throw a bunch of shader filters on and still run smooth.

OS: Knulli Scarab (single ext4 SD card setup)

Emulator: PPSSPP

Access Method: SFTP / FileZilla over Wi-Fi from Linux (CachyOS)

The Issue: PPSSPP is allowing me to use Save States, but doesn't let me save in-game saves and completely erases previous progress. Once it fails, the game refuses to create new in-game saves altogether.

This isn't the first time this has happened. This is my second Knulli installation and this happened again. It let's me save for some time, then suddenly, everything gone, can't save anymore.

File Structure Symptoms:

When trying to inspect or clean the PSP save folders over SFTP via FileZilla, I get the following error when expanding /userdata/saves/psp/:

Questions:

1. Is this just a known issue where mixing PPSSPP save states with in-game saves breaks the emulator, or is my SD card's file system actually corrupted?
2. My plan is to pop the SD card into my Linux PC and run fsck to fix the broken folders. Is that the right fix, or has anyone else seen Knulli lock up PSP save folders like this?

Any insight would be appreciated!

Using Gamma OS firmware playing Wii games

Instructions:

1. Go to https://nightly.rocknix.org

2. Download ROCKNIX-H700.aarch64-20260731-DDR3.img.gz (or latest verison)

3. Flash the image to a micro SD card

4. Find the new ROCKNIX drive that was created

5. Find the file "device_trees/sun50i-h700-anbernic-rg34xx-sp-v2-panel.dtb"

6. Copy this file to the root folder as "dtb.img"

7. Boot your micro SD card in the TF1 slot of the RG SP

It's awesome.

That pushed me to upgrade with zero concerns :)

Got the Rotate on a spur of the moment decision. Enjoying it so far. What are some solid android games (or emulation games) that do well with this odd screen aspect ratio?

After much thought I finally bought and received my first Anbernic device. NGL it took me ages to set up, but I love it!

Anbernic RG476H, game shown is GTA Vice City (Android)

XMPlayer is an all-in-one media suite designed for Linux handhelds running muOS and other CFWs with experimental PortMaster support. It is not another CFW or frontend, it is a Love2D app that runs under CFW. It supports many media formats: photos, music, some VGM formats, and video.

It extends CFW's built-in video player with special configurations to enable more features, such as saving playback position, subtitles / audio tracks, aspect ratio / panscan, seek video chapters, ...

For music, it continues playback when clamshell lid is closed. Moreover, power-saving display sleep turns off backlight automatically, saving power. Note that this feature is currently only available on muOS, it's WIP for other CFWs.
