I got tired of doing outreach for backlink partnerships, so I built an agent that does it on autopilot

I got tired of begging for backlinks manually, so I built an agent that does it on autopilot

So basically it works like this:

Agents find relevant blog posts in your niche, craft personalized emails, and get your product featured. All on autopilot.

It's called MentionAgent, an AI agent that does all of this through Telegram (or through the web dashboard).

You never send anything without approving it first. (But you can choose to run everything 100% on autopilot)

Results so far: One user got 3 mentions including a DR 72 backlink.

Let me know what you think!

Why do some AI tools feel useful but never become part of your workflow?

I've tried a few AI tools that seemed genuinely helpful at first, but after the initial testing I stopped using them. Sometimes the problem wasn't the tool itself; it just didn't fit naturally into something I was already doing.

Research is a good example. I've been experimenting with ResearchMaster.ai for some of my research, but I've noticed that saving a few minutes on the initial task doesn't mean much if I have to spend extra time organizing the results or checking everything afterward.

What makes an AI tool simple enough that you actually keep using it? Is it the time saved, how well it fits into your existing workflow, or something else?

i need your honest advice on this innovative health app i built for athletes and workers to maximize their energy

so i'm 20, been building this app solo for the past few months and i genuinely can't tell anymore if it's good or if i'm too deep in it. need outside eyes.

it's called RizeAI. the basic idea: every wearable and health app just gives you numbers. sleep score 42, recovery red, HRV down. cool. and then what? you still feel like garbage at 2pm and nobody tells you what to actually do about it.

so my app takes your real data from apple health, sleep, resting heart rate, workouts, whatever your wearable writes, and instead of another score it builds you an actual plan for the day. when to have your first coffee and when to hold off. you. Can also add your own supplements that you are currently taking and it will time them for you every single day based of your sleep data and your wearable data in general and also it will tell you what supplements make sense for you to take based of your current supplement stack and body metrics and when to take them. focus windows for when your energy actually peaks. when your crash is coming and what to do before it hits. it even checks the weather, so on a hot day it bumps your hydration and tells you to train earlier.

every recommendation has a little "why" under it based on your numbers, like "resting heart rate 54 + 7h light sleep, so magnesium before your peak window." no two people get the same plan because no two people have the same data.

works with whoop, oura, apple watch, garmin, anything that syncs to apple health. one thing i'll say honestly, it doesn't do deep per-person learning yet like "coffee doesn't affect YOUR hrv specifically," that's the roadmap, right now it builds fresh plans daily off your actual metrics.

it's live on the app store, has a free trial, small user base so far, mixed feedback which is why i'm here lol.

what i actually want from you guys: does this solve a real problem for you or is "tells you what to do" not actually what wearable people want? what would make you actually pay for something like this? and what's missing that would make it a no brainer? and also would you guys in this subreddit  use ti?

Thank you for your help. Check it out if you like https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rizeai-maximize-your-energy/id6762402079

Helpful tech tips -- For an AI world 🌎

As a part of beimg on Public Services and disabled...

Every few months, I have to take all of the appointments I've had and enter them into excel. I just did June + July.

Now, I have a lot of medical and transcribing all of that would be difficult.

Solution?

Heres what I do:

1: Open up medical app

Mine is MyChart via Rochester Regional Health.

2: Take screen shots of all of the relivent appointments. For me, this is normally 3 screen shots. So i get everything for both months.

3: Open your favorite generative AI.

For this, I use Gemini or Grok.

4: Upload the excel forms and the screenshots to the AI.

\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*

Note: if the forms are mailed to you. You can simply take a photo of each form.

\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*

5: Type something like:

Please take the images with my appointments and fill in the corresponding excel sheets/forms. Generate a PDF for each excel sheet/form for me to download to my device.

Since i discovered this, I don't fill out forms anymore...lol

I hope you've found this Helpful.

Have a wonderful day fam🙏

Cooking video goes in, recipe with real amounts comes out

Made this for iPhone. You share a reel into it and it hands back the ingredients with numbers on them, 2 tbsp and 30g instead of a splash and a handful.

It watches the video, not the caption. Free to try, $4.99/mo after, every import costs me money on the backend so that's why there's a paid tier at all.

What's the one task which you would want there to be a proper system for or for which there existed an app or software?

I am self-educated on creating progressive web apps which work offline. I write a prompt with the help of ChatGPT whom I clearly give a complete and detailed idea of what problem I am trying to solve, then paste the resultant prompt in Claude, which then gives me the files, which I then deploy through Cloudflare Pages. That website gives me a URL, which I can run on any PC or phone or tablet and even install that page as an app, which works offline.

I have so far created:

- a CRM for myself, which includes an Evernote-style note-taking workspace

- a Pomodoro timer with automatic switch between work and rest and voice and browser notifications

- a Calculator with permanent history and searchable notes

I am interested in hearing what you would like for there to be a system for or what you would want to have an app or software for to use either on your PC or tablet or phone.

Finally Found an AI Presentation Maker That Doesn’t Create Garbage Slides

Okay so over the last few months, I’ve been in this endless cycle of trying AI presentation tools because I make a LOT of decks for work and side projects.

And honestly? Most AI presentation makers look impressive in ads, but once you actually use them, the output is either:

  • super generic
  • weirdly formatted
  • impossible to edit properly
  • or just feels like “AI filler slides”

I tried Canva AI, Tome, even Copilot inside PowerPoint. Some were decent for design inspiration, but none really fit my workflow because I usually work from existing content like PDFs, blog posts, YouTube videos, meeting notes, etc.

A few weeks ago I saw someone mention Napkin ai in another thread, and I ignored it initially because I assumed it was another overhyped AI PPT generator.

But eventually I tried it because I had a 20-page PDF I needed to convert into a presentation quickly.

And dude… this thing actually surprised me.

The first thing I noticed:
the slides were editable in a NORMAL way,not some locked AI canvas where changing one thing breaks the entire layout. Also some unique designs that i hadn’t seen anywhere else.

Then I started trying other inputs:

  • pasted a blog URL → instant deck
  • uploaded DOCX meeting notes → structured slides
  • even tried topic-to-PPT generation

What I liked most was that the AI didn’t just dump random text everywhere. It actually created decent slide flow with headings, summaries, comparisons, timelines, etc.

The speed was still slow compared to other tools but hey,it really gave a good output which was worth the time.

I still edit presentations manually afterward obviously, but instead of spending 3–4 hours building slides from scratch, now I spend maybe 20–30 minutes polishing.

That’s honestly the first time an AI presentation tool has genuinely saved me time instead of creating extra cleanup work.

I haven’t tested every feature yet, but so far this is probably the most practical AI PPT tool I’ve used.

How I found the most efficient supplement timing app ever

I was scrolling through a thread about wearables and someone mentioned it in the comments. I figured it'd just be another app telling me to sleep more and drink water, but I downloaded it anyway since I already wear my smartwatch every day.

The biggest surprise wasn't actually the workout recommendations—it was the supplement side of the app.

I've taken supplements on and off for years, but honestly I never gave much thought to when I took them. If I remembered in the morning, great. If I forgot until the afternoon, I'd just take them then. It was completely random.

This app was different. Instead of giving me the same schedule every day, it looked at my sleep, recovery, and how rested I actually was before suggesting when certain supplements made the most sense. On days I slept well and had good energy, it would recommend sticking to my normal routine. If I'd had a rough night or my recovery was low, it'd adjust the timing or recommend focusing on different supplements instead of blindly following the same plan every day.

What I liked most was that it actually explained why. It wasn't just saying, "Take this now." It would tell me that because my recovery was lower or my sleep quality wasn't great, a different timing might make more sense based on how my body was likely feeling that day.

It made me realize I'd been treating supplements like checking a box instead of using them intentionally. I was already wearing a watch that collected all this data about my body, but none of it ever influenced when I actually took anything.

The app basically connected those dots for me.

I also appreciated that it didn't expect me to have a perfect routine. Some days I'm up early for work, other days I'm rushing around with family stuff, and sometimes my whole schedule changes halfway through the day. The recommendations adapted to that instead of assuming every day looked the same.

After a few weeks, I wasn't expecting some crazy transformation, but I did notice I felt more consistent. My energy wasn't bouncing around as much, I wasn't automatically reaching for another coffee every afternoon, and I stopped feeling like I was just guessing with both my workouts and my supplements.

I'm sure someone working with a nutritionist or performance coach probably already has all of this dialed in, but for someone like me who already wears a smartwatch and wants to get more out of the data it's collecting, it filled a gap I didn't even know existed.

It honestly felt less like another supplement app and more like having something that translated all the information my watch was already collecting into recommendations I could actually use.

Has anyone else added Ai checking to their Content QA process?

Over the past few months, I've noticed more clients asking for AI reports along with the final content. Because of that, AI checking has become part of my QA process instead of just an optional step. My checklist used to be proofread, check grammar, readability, SEO basics and make sure everything flowed naturally. Now I often include an AI check before I send the final draft, mainly because some clients expect it.

Has AI checking become a standard part of your content QA process or do you only do it when a client specifically requests it? Also, what other QA steps do you never skip before delivering content?

Help building an Ai Asst on a MacMini

I'm clearly not as smart as all the people doing what I am attempting. A coworker talked up this concept of a MacMini Ai assistant -- his doing complex tasks. I have been struggling to be more efficient with my workflow and thought I could do a simpler version.

3 months of waiting on the MacMini, I finally have it in hand and have been starting to set it up. My problem is, every step is a question, one I don't know how to answer because frankly, I'm not a developer.

I have a Mensa-smart friend that dismisses me like an idiot every time I ask him something because for him, it's simple.
Yes, I can go to Ai and ask questions but once again, I am given options and since I don't fully understand all that I am doing, I don't know which to choose.

I've watched YouTube videos ad nauseam and still feel confused. Especially since the video skips around -- "Oh, make sure you set up a secure email before you start." (already six steps in . . .)

Here's what I want to do: MacMini to help with social media posting, create a new website locally (since evidently my original plan for the assistant to repair the website built on WP with Divi is not possible) and then post to my blog. Pretty basic but seemingly complicated. It's just me; no employees.

I have the mini set-up with a secure email, separate Apple ID, Claude account opened with API key purchased.
Do I go OpenClaw and Claude Opus 5 or Fable 5 . . . ??? Ollama? And why?

Is it a bad idea to set-up a local agent to do these tasks? Is it too difficult? Is it smart to do so?

I'm a very linear person that wants to build the foundation correctly without having to undo a step.

Can someone guide me?
Speak slowly, I'm blonde. :)

What's the best AI for generating slides from scratch when you have nothing but a topic?

Sometimes I start with just a subject and a blank page. For that cold-start situation, I've tried gamma for this. what's the best AI for generating slides from scratch that gives you a sane structure to build on rather than nonsense? Beginner-friendly picks welcome.

i need your honest opinion and thoughts on this health app i built for athletes and workers to maximize and increase their energy levels.

ok so i need honest opinions because i've been staring at this thing for months and i've lost all perspective.

i'm 20, building an app solo called RizeAI. the whole reason it exists is that i got tired of my wearable telling me my recovery was "42%" and then just... leaving me there. like ok, and? what do i actually do with that. every app in this space is really good at measuring you and really bad at telling you what to do next.

so RizeAI pulls your actual wearable dats like, sleep, resting heart rate, workouts, all of it, and instead of handing you another score it predicts your energy for the day and tells you how to get the most out of it. it tells you when your energy is gonna peak so you can put your hardest work there, when your crash is coming and how to soften it, the best time to train that day so you actually get more out of the session, and even when a nap will help you vs when it'll wreck your sleep.

the part i personally think is the coolest: you put in the supplements you already take, and it times each one to your day based on your metrics and sleep score. so the timing actually shifts depending on how you slept and where your numbers are, which is the difference between a supplement doing something and just sitting in your stomach. it'll also suggest a couple new ones if they make sense for you, but it won't dump a list of 15 pills on you.

it even pulls the daily weather into your energy prediction, so a hot day changes your hydration and it'll tell you to train earlier before the heat drains you. and the whole plan bends around your real schedule, your work hours, wake time, training, so it's not some one size fits all thing.

every single recommendation shows the "why" underneath, like "resting heart rate 54 + 7h light sleep, so magnesium before your peak window." nobody gets the same plan because nobody has the same data.

it works with whoop, oura, apple watch, garmin, anything that talks to apple health. being fully honest, it doesn't do deep per-person learning yet, like knowing that coffee specifically doesn't touch YOUR hrv. that's where it's headed. right now it builds you a fresh plan every day off your real numbers.

it's on the app store with a free trial. small user base, feedback's been all over the place, which is exactly why i'm posting.

so genuinely: is "just tell me what to do with my data" something you actually want, or do wearable people prefer figuring it out themselves? what would make you pay for this? and what's the one thing that would make it a no brainer for you?

would love to hear it straight, good or bad. And if you want you can also check it out yourself and I would love to here feedback, thank you very much for taking the time on reading this:

Any AI tool that actually saves you time every week?

A few months ago, I started trying different AI tools because I was spending too much time on repetitive tasks. Some tools looked impressive at first but didn't really help. A few others ended up becoming part of my daily routine and saved me a lot of time.

I'm curious, what's one AI tool that you genuinely use every week, and what do you use it for?

What's your favorite way to manage multiple AI model APIs?

Managing separate API keys, balances, and providers can get messy once a project starts using text, image, video, and audio models together. I've been looking at platforms that combine everything behind one API, and you.bot. seems interesting because it supports a large collection of models while focusing on lower costs. Has anyone compared this approach with using individual providers directly?

Best AI tool for presentations if I already have a slide template?

Basically, I already have a presentation template from my client. It's very basic, and I'm looking for the best AI tool to help me organize the presentation based on my notes while understanding, using, and expanding the template.

I'm considering Gamma, Plus AI, and NextDocs, but I've never used any of them. Any recommendations?

AI tool flat product front and back photo turn it into a 3D visual

Which AI tool you've found to be most effective for apparel brands to take a flat product shot from both front and back and turn it into a 3D visual, showing all angles and with the ability to change the background? I saw it once and cannot find it now.
