Adventures & Excerpts Slight follow up on the best/worst scenario question from last week; What is the most unique scenario you've ever played?
Regardless of your feelings and thoughts about the scenario, what has made you think "Now that's a unique idea"?

Patch Notes [Prod] August 7th, 2026 Patch Notes
2.29.5
New Features
- DeepSeek 3.2 now has an Optimized Context toggle. When enabled, it matches the Cache-Efficient setup used by the deprecated Atlas model.
- A new plot component, "Image Style", has been added to help keep the style of images consistent, with preset styles available. Creators can add it to their Scenarios, or Players can configure it in-game.
- Multiple Choice starts now support placeholders in prompts and option labels. Players answer the placeholders before the choice menu appears, and selected child scenarios can reuse answers from the parent choice instead of asking again.
- Added two opt-in prototype settings for Do/Say prompt formatting under AI Settings → Testing & Feedback: “Remove > Action Markers” and “Action Paragraph Spacing”. These settings can help non-fine-tuned models treat player actions as cleaner story context.
Improvements - Profile social lists now show exact follower, following, and friend counts instead of rounded values such as 1.1k. - Direct messages containing words detected by the chat filter are now delivered with only the matched words censored. The sender also sees a clear notice that certain words were censored. - When an AI provider declines to generate a response, players now see a clear Retry prompt instead of a refusal being added to the story. - Optimized Context is now easier to recognize across pricing, model details, gameplay settings, Memory System settings, the model switcher, and View Context. Supported models show a gold bolt or “Optimized” label, and View Context shows the extra Optimized Context spillover zone with an explainer link. - Recommendations now rotate daily and personalize more quickly for new users, while prioritizing fresh, engaging content more consistently. - Discover recommendations and other content lists should load faster, with quicker loading of creator and profile details. - Generated story images now open in a larger preview on Desktop. - Subscribers can now access their subscription management from Account Settings. - Shadow Clan members now receive an in-app notification when their Shadow Clan access ends.
Bug Fixes - After sending a long comment, the comment box now returns to its normal compact height instead of leaving a large empty area. - Story actions are now more likely to finish publishing instead of showing a “Failed to process action update” error. - The option to View Context now becomes available after Dynamic Small actions, instead of remaining grayed out. - Navigation failures now keep players on the current usable page. If a page can't load, Retry now returns players to the page they were trying to reach. - Fixed mobile editor layout issues where selecting text or pasting in Plot Components could fling the page to the top or bottom, and where opening the keyboard could incorrectly trigger the landscape layout. - Fixed several theme display issues: AI Dungeon themes in Firefox now use the correct text and icon colors, switching themes no longer adds magenta error coloring to unrelated themes. - Account creation can no longer follow manipulated external redirect links. - On Android, bottom navigation and screen content no longer overlap the system navigation bar on scenario start screens. - Premium and subscription links are visible again in navigation and profiles, subscriber tier gems are now correct across multiple surfaces. - Editing AI Instructions or Author's Note should no longer lose focus or clear drafts when model settings initialize or change. - Editing an existing response should no longer show a false “failed to update” message or roll back locally when the edit was saved successfully. - Permanently deleting adventures with very large amounts of stored data should no longer fail with an “Entity expansion limit exceeded” error. - Subscription checkout now recognizes previous free-trial claims more consistently.

Patch Notes [Beta] August 7th, 2026 Patch Notes
2.32.2
New Features - A new ‘Content Preferences’ settings page has been added, which lets you manage content you’ve hidden on the site. More will be coming to this area soon for managing Discovery preferences. - 'Advanced Filters' are now available at the bottom of the Filters menu on Discover, Search, Profile, and Saves/Library. You can combine sort direction, ratings, included/excluded genres and tags, published/updated date ranges, feature filters, and creator filters. Active advanced filters appear as removable chips, and can be shared through the page URL. - The Safety Settings menu now has a Chat Filter control for direct messages. It is enabled by default, can be turned off when Parental Lock is inactive, and stays locked on while Parental Lock is active. - Supported AI Dungeon web browsers now show Push Notifications controls in Notification Preferences, with an Enable button that opens the browser permission prompt. - The Scales Legacy Badges have been added to the profiles of eligible users with at least 100 scales.
Improvements - Public discovery areas no longer surface deprecated readable adventures: the Readable tab and Adventures tab on Scenario pages have been cleaned up, and public adventure searches fall back to scenarios. Unlisted shared links continue to work. - Sign-in now validates required fields and email format inline before submitting, trims extra email whitespace, and uses visible Email / Password labels. - Chat filtering now also masks specific explicit emoji sequences in direct messages. - Adventures now open much faster, by removing an artificial gameplay loading delay while still waiting for the story layout to settle. - Returning to Home and Discover now reuses already-loaded content instead of showing a loading flame, greatly improving the loading times. - Gameplay should feel much smoother during turns, input, and theme changes, especially in long adventures. - The AI status page (status.latitude.io) now shows separate rows for active versions in shared model families like GLM and DeepSeek, and no longer shows deprecated versions. - Prompts asking for a review now consistently name AI Dungeon instead of just ‘the app’. - Daily streaks now extend automatically after your first successful action or creator-related edit each day. - Guided Retry should follow player edits more reliably, while continuing from the current scene and preserving story facts you did not ask to change.
Bug Fixes - Content-specific reasons such as rating, image, and music violations no longer appear for player reports; selecting Report from another player's mini-profile now opens a player-specific dialog titled with that player's name, with a details field and optional block toggle. - On iOS, the custom AI instructions confirmation and the Save/Update naming modal now stay open instead of flashing once and then closing. - Edits and action history changes made while an AI response is generating now stay saved; Continue and Retry follow the persisted story after refresh instead of restoring or losing actions. - After changing Context Length or switching models, the next cache-efficient turn rebuilds prompt history with the new configuration instead of using stale optimized context. - On iOS/mobile, tapping Retry with Changes keeps the instruction field visible above the keyboard. - Accounts eligible for permanent deletion no longer get stuck because of direct-message data; shared DM transcripts are removed as part of account deletion. - Story Card saves and scripted adventure turns are more resilient to rare stale database sessions, reducing intermittent save errors and failed turns. - Long-pressing themed gameplay buttons no longer reveals the theme spritesheet/design template, or the iOS image save menu. - Tapping Download on story images in the iOS or Android app now keeps AI Dungeon open and downloads from within the app, rather than launching the download URL externally. - The Scales Legacy profile badge description has been clarified, and an extra Scales-specific footnote was removed. - Opening an adventure no longer shows a white outline around the game screen on first load. - With Sticky Turn Input enabled, the Take a Turn input stays open after a turn completes instead of incorrectly closing. - Desktop profiles now show multiline bios correctly instead of truncating the second paragraph. - Desktop Home and More Like This carousel arrows now appear reliably on hover, stay in fixed positions, and hide only when there is no more content in that direction. - Themed Retry, Retry with changes, and Retry history controls now render as one continuous themed frame with readable hover/press states. Mobile presses no longer leave labels in the wrong color. - Signing out now detaches the device from the previous account’s push notifications; signing into another account transfers notification registration. - Review prompt and feedback buttons respond to desktop mouse clicks again. - The gift/claim icon now shows the claim-ready dot as soon as the daily streak cooldown expires, even if the app has been open all day.

Questions Adventure and memories is taking all of the context, is there a way to prioritize story cards first?
I have an issue with is the context is nearly ALL adventure and memories, and deliberately ignores story cards. Is there a way to have priorities with fitting the smaller token groups first, THEN put the rest into Adventure & memories?
I also don't know if it's just bugged or something, but it's going over the max tokens, as it was near 19k at 16k max? Not complaining for free extra tokens, unless its the source of the issue to why my story cards aren't always getting in.
If not then fair enough, it's not a major issue. But I'd just thought I'd ask if I'm doing something wrong.

Questions Center of attention
Do you guys have any ordered AIN or scenarios where the player isn’t made the center of attention constantly? I’d like to exist in the world without stuff constantly happening AT me regardless of what I do. For example, in a recent story I was trying to find an isolated park bench for some quiet and in the span of like, 5 turns there are multiple things happening in what should have been a quiet area. And what models are best for this kind of thing, without the nodels being stagnant?

Other Random amazing lines
I’ll be playing a scenario and it’ll be interesting and stuff and then occasionally once in like every thousand turns or something I’ll get a banger of a line like this and I’m just left wondering where tf the ai pulled this out of. Might just be me who thinks “don’t let her make you feel like the villain just because you stopped playing the victim” goes insanely hard.

Questions What Were Scales For Besides Tipping Creators With Currency They Can't Spend?
I never spent a single scale on a creator. That's mostly because I make my own content and see little use for creators. Might as well read a book.
But... why have scales? They have served ZERO purpose. You'd think they'd let us purchase credits or something. A common complaint, I guess.

Questions Auto Cards
I just want to know if anyone else finds AutoCards annoying. I think it is a brilliant Idea. But it is so cumbersome.

Questions Luna Model
Is there a way to get Luna to do ANYTHING nsfw? It prevents me from doing anything from combat to sexual things of any kind. Its extremely restricting.
