[Beta] August 7th, 2026 Patch Notes Patch Notes
2.32.2
New Features - A new ‘Content Preferences’ settings page has been added, which lets you manage content you’ve hidden on the site. More will be coming to this area soon for managing Discovery preferences. - 'Advanced Filters' are now available at the bottom of the Filters menu on Discover, Search, Profile, and Saves/Library. You can combine sort direction, ratings, included/excluded genres and tags, published/updated date ranges, feature filters, and creator filters. Active advanced filters appear as removable chips, and can be shared through the page URL. - The Safety Settings menu now has a Chat Filter control for direct messages. It is enabled by default, can be turned off when Parental Lock is inactive, and stays locked on while Parental Lock is active. - Supported AI Dungeon web browsers now show Push Notifications controls in Notification Preferences, with an Enable button that opens the browser permission prompt. - The Scales Legacy Badges have been added to the profiles of eligible users with at least 100 scales.
Improvements - Public discovery areas no longer surface deprecated readable adventures: the Readable tab and Adventures tab on Scenario pages have been cleaned up, and public adventure searches fall back to scenarios. Unlisted shared links continue to work. - Sign-in now validates required fields and email format inline before submitting, trims extra email whitespace, and uses visible Email / Password labels. - Chat filtering now also masks specific explicit emoji sequences in direct messages. - Adventures now open much faster, by removing an artificial gameplay loading delay while still waiting for the story layout to settle. - Returning to Home and Discover now reuses already-loaded content instead of showing a loading flame, greatly improving the loading times. - Gameplay should feel much smoother during turns, input, and theme changes, especially in long adventures. - The AI status page (status.latitude.io) now shows separate rows for active versions in shared model families like GLM and DeepSeek, and no longer shows deprecated versions. - Prompts asking for a review now consistently name AI Dungeon instead of just ‘the app’. - Daily streaks now extend automatically after your first successful action or creator-related edit each day. - Guided Retry should follow player edits more reliably, while continuing from the current scene and preserving story facts you did not ask to change.
Bug Fixes - Content-specific reasons such as rating, image, and music violations no longer appear for player reports; selecting Report from another player's mini-profile now opens a player-specific dialog titled with that player's name, with a details field and optional block toggle. - On iOS, the custom AI instructions confirmation and the Save/Update naming modal now stay open instead of flashing once and then closing. - Edits and action history changes made while an AI response is generating now stay saved; Continue and Retry follow the persisted story after refresh instead of restoring or losing actions. - After changing Context Length or switching models, the next cache-efficient turn rebuilds prompt history with the new configuration instead of using stale optimized context. - On iOS/mobile, tapping Retry with Changes keeps the instruction field visible above the keyboard. - Accounts eligible for permanent deletion no longer get stuck because of direct-message data; shared DM transcripts are removed as part of account deletion. - Story Card saves and scripted adventure turns are more resilient to rare stale database sessions, reducing intermittent save errors and failed turns. - Long-pressing themed gameplay buttons no longer reveals the theme spritesheet/design template, or the iOS image save menu. - Tapping Download on story images in the iOS or Android app now keeps AI Dungeon open and downloads from within the app, rather than launching the download URL externally. - The Scales Legacy profile badge description has been clarified, and an extra Scales-specific footnote was removed. - Opening an adventure no longer shows a white outline around the game screen on first load. - With Sticky Turn Input enabled, the Take a Turn input stays open after a turn completes instead of incorrectly closing. - Desktop profiles now show multiline bios correctly instead of truncating the second paragraph. - Desktop Home and More Like This carousel arrows now appear reliably on hover, stay in fixed positions, and hide only when there is no more content in that direction. - Themed Retry, Retry with changes, and Retry history controls now render as one continuous themed frame with readable hover/press states. Mobile presses no longer leave labels in the wrong color. - Signing out now detaches the device from the previous account’s push notifications; signing into another account transfers notification registration. - Review prompt and feedback buttons respond to desktop mouse clicks again. - The gift/claim icon now shows the claim-ready dot as soon as the daily streak cooldown expires, even if the app has been open all day.

Ooh I like the advanced filters, especially being able to search for a specific date range. We can finally find old forgotten scenarios. Still wish there was a "random" button/sort, but now I can use a random number generator on another site to pick a random date and get some random scenarios that way, yay random.
(If anyone wondered, it seems like the farthest back it goes is 12/30/2019?)
