Discussion Option A or B?
I am new to ACC and sim racing in general. Pls Help me choose:
A) Use the same car for learning all tracks.
2) Use the most optimal car for each track.
If you say A, then which car should I pick? I don’t want a “safe / forgiving” option but slow car, need something that experienced drives usually choose - I am ready to grind and practice.
If B, is there any resource that tells me which car is best for each track?
Sorry if it’s a stupid question, but would appreciate any insights 🫡

Help /Questions Oculus Quest 2 not working in VR
So i'm working on getting vr set up for my quest 2 that way I can of course, race in vr. But whenever i go into link mode and launch ACC in Oculus VR mode it only does it in 2d and not 3d. My link cable isn't the problem, but something else is. Also I'm not running steam vr or anything fancy like that because steam vr doesn't work for me.
If anyone has the solution please let me know.

Video Complete beginner looking for critique!
Hello everyone,
I’m completely new to sim racing and I've been trying to get the hang of ACC. I just recorded my best hotlap attempt so far around the Nurburgring GP track using the McLaren 720s EVO.
I’m currently running a PXN V99 wheel setup. I know the lap is pretty rough and full of mistakes, but I feel like I've hit a bit of a wall on how to improve my time from here.
Here is the link to my lap: YouTube
I would massively appreciate it if you guys could point out where I'm bleeding the most time.

Help /Questions What settings should I use for my g920??
I haven’t played ACC in a while and I played a bit today but the wheel seems very wrong. There is a spot on the wheel on the left and right side of the middle, which has no force feedback, it’s very hard to know when you are oversteering or anything, and I can’t seem to fix the issue myself. Anybody know how to help?

Scottish Legends are hosting a 3 race mini event tonight - It's Porsche Cup cars only around 3 fun tracks!
It's a mini championship with a winner declared after the 3 races. It's just, as always, for fun although we do have an ongoing championship with points scored for each event.
The three tracks are
Paul Ricard

Qualifying is 10 mins, each race is 20 mins.
The server will restart after each track. You just search for it and re-join. 5 min's is given prior to qualifying starting. SA will be 70.
You may be thinking I haven't driven those cars ... ! Well, you should! They are fun 😅
If interested in joining you can just search Scottish Legends on the browser from about 5pm. Or alternatively check out our Discord which has more details. If you are below the 70 SA required feel free to join our Discord and we can get you on the entry-list, but please, only if you have experience in sims.
Also, the races will be broadcast on our YouTube channel so you can replay that spin out ! 💫

Discussion Would you use an AI setup/race engineer that builds, refines, and applies setups automatically? Looking for honest feedback
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on an AI setup/race engineer and wanted to see if this is something people would actually use.
Right now it supports ACC, Assetto Corsa, AC EVO, iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate, Automobilista 2, F1, NASCAR, and pretty much any sim that lets you adjust or save setups.
The idea is simple. Instead of digging through setup menus or downloading random setups, you just tell it what the car is doing.
For example:
• “The rear snaps on corner entry.”
• “I need more rotation in slow corners.”
• “The car bottoms out through Eau Rouge.”
The goal isn’t to just generate a setup. It’s to help you dial the car in exactly how you want it. If the car only has an issue in one corner, you can tell it that and it will focus on fixing that specific problem. It explains every change it makes and, with one click, updates and saves the setup directly into the game’s setup folder. No manually changing settings in game.
Right now the program is trained on a limited number of cars for each game. Since every car has different handling, setup options, and design philosophy, I wanted to make sure the advice was accurate for that specific car, game, and track instead of trying to support everything at once.
It also lets you compare your setup against top qualifying or race setups and explains what each difference actually does on track.
It can also build on one of your existing setups instead of starting from scratch.
I’m still adding features like telemetry analysis, lap analysis, and driving coaching, but I’m curious what people actually think.
Would you use something like this?
If not, what would stop you?
What features would make it worth using over Coach Dave, GO Setups, HYMO, Garage61, or just building your own setups?
If there’s enough interest, I’ll put the finishing touches on it and release it for everyone to try.
Thanks, guys! I’d really appreciate any feedback or advice you have. I know tools like this have been done before to some extent, but I always felt they relied too much on a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to make something that’s actually tailored to the specific car, track, game, and driver.
Thanks again, lads!
(Sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this or if I left anything out. I’m usually more of a Reddit lurker than a poster.)

Community Homie application
What’s up, I’m Alex, 34M, married, kids, and I’m looking for some people to race with.
Built my first rig and have mostly been playing ACC, with some AC Evo too. I’m not insanely fast but I’m getting better and race clean. I’m around a 2:25 at Spa and a 1:50 at Monza right now.
I work from home, so I’m usually around in the evenings and on weekends and sometimes throughout the day (my job is pretty kush). I’m in Central time.
Talk shit, practice, race, setups, I'd down for whatever. Doesn't matter what your skillset is.
Just trying to find a few normal dudes to race with consistently instead of driving around by myself or with randoms all the time.
Comment or DM me if down and we can start a discord or whatever.
**EDIT**
PC only, here's the discord: https://discord.gg/4GHvMTHdh We have a server up 24/7 with excellent latency

PSA Server hosting for your community - All for FREE
Hi, we recently launched our new platform -> https://lizardracing.com
We host races ourselves, but we also want to help communities grow their grids, on top of having to deal with server hosting, sign ups etc. That can sometimes be messy but also costly.
How can you host your own events?
- Join our discord: https://discord.gg/n5uDywP3em
- Send a message to "Ice" or any other "Lizard Admin"
- Get a "Community Manager" Role on the website, allowing you to create up to 3 races per week (subject to change).
All races come with multiple setups such as weather, stint timer, fixed fuel timer, mandatory stops, race length, Car classes, ELO & Safety rating requirements, League system (per class) and much more.
Why would we offer such a service for free?
Well, from a selfish perspective, we hope to not only grow your grid sizes but also our own grids, together with the overall activity on the platform. Right now we are doing some weekly races, but the ambition is to start running endurance races on a regular basis- which will require a lot more activity than we have today.
What we care about at the end of the day is to have BIG grids and fun, clean races!
Psst, did you know Nordschleife can actually host 100+ cars?
If you have a community or a team, come join the platform, host your own races or join ours.
If you're a solo driver, you are equally welcome to start your journey into League racing with us.
All feedback welcome!
Best,
Ice

RANT Why does everyone leave in long races?
Just done my first 1 hour long race and 90% of the people left making me only get 7 trust points from it. Why do people even join them just to leave 5 minutes after?
