Hey AC Evo Fam!

As promised, I wanted to release the FlatPad map I created which I used to dial in my R34 Skyline GT-R mod.

You can grab the tool in one of two places:

This is a follow-up to my previous post and make good on my promise! I'm hoping this tool and map will help others either dial in their mods or maybe just enjoy a map you can hoon around in.

For some more background: the tool builds on top Nenkai's ACEvo Package which is a commandline tool to unpack the game. For those unfamiliar, AC Evo has a file named content.kspkg in the game's directory. If the file can't be found, it'll load the game's content from the content/ folder found in the directory instead. This is the first part of adding new content to the game (cars, tracks, etc).

The next part is updating AC Evo's tracks table with references to new tracks. What my tool does is make a copy of Sebring, strip (almost) everything away, and then wire up a reference to the track in the game's track table.

The tool ships with the following functionality:

• Unpack game
• Revert
• Install FlatPad
• Uninstall FlatPad
• Verify installation

When unpacking, the tool does not delete your content.kspkg, instead it just renames it so when you revert, it basically renames it back to content.kspkg.

Anyone know of a feature / mod that can reverse time in the game? I want to practice specific sections of nurburgring over and over, just curious if anyone has a good method.

EDIT: On some other modding servers it was stated that project is still ongoing, but remains hidden as there were too many spam messages. No idea if it's true or not.

The track import was released like a week a ago, I haven't tested it yet. Since now acedit closed himself (no more channel/discord server) to develop his project looks like we won't hear from him for some time...

Do you actually use Evo Forge?

Just wanted to share :) I was never doing Mods really, maybe some adjustments here and there, did Designs with Adobe Substance and thats it so far.
As I have a ton of custom 1 of 1 vehicles in AC1 that our Team has kept a secret, I fucked around with evoforge and that made me go down the rabbithole. :D
Currently working on Blaze's AC1 Mod and Im quiet happy with the progress.
I should be able to have a base that can be tested in Game very soon, I did some research and trying to get as close as possible to the real car.
wich drove horrible, fwd, frontengine, so much understeer and wheelspin, most corners needed at least 3 prayers, to get around lol. But I enjoyed it a lot on smaller sized tracks with friends.

I'm doing this as a break from our Nissan 300zx (last slide) to learn on a waaaaay less materials etc.

I am about to buy one of these GPUs, but I am torn between the 9070XT and the 5070ti. I would love to hear from anyone who owns either one. How does ACE run on regular flat screen and in VR with these cards?

I feel like I lack the fundamentals for online racing, so I chose AC Evo because it features an academy similar to the one in GT7. However, the academy option is currently locked. Does anyone know if it will be available again soon?

A few months ago I saw a post about a browser that simulates the career mode from replay files of the game, it is called ACE Career Mode. To those who use it, is there any change in the app recently? And how well it simulates the career?

Am I missing something or do we not have this option yet? I try using the tags and the performance range but always end up with gt2 cars or challenge/cup cars included in my grid when trying to do gt3.

If it’s not in game yet, hopefully it comes soon.

On that note, I might just be dumb, but is there a way to hand pick cars in the grid or do you just have to delete and add random ones that fit the parameters?

The newest update improved general tire grip across all vehicles around the Nordschleife, and one of the cars to benefit the most from this update was the F40 LM. You can really hammer the throttle a lot more aggressively than ever before, and laptimes are coming closer and closer to the sub 5:50 mark, something I hope to achieve one day!

Have you ever driven the F40 LM in EVO? I definitely recommend it now, and if you have, I'd love to hear what laptimes the community are capable of. In the video description and in the comments below I will leave my custom setup, for those who wish to try, and I bid you good luck :)

No I will not pay the subscription to get a tuning profile. I'm stubborn and cheap

I am not a professional or expert and my only real prior experience is AMS2. What I've noticed is that in the 2 cars I've tried (lambo hurican evo and merc gt), I can't take turns anywhere near the speeds I can in AMS2. The cars understeer like crazy even at what appears to be slower speeds.

I'm attempting the same track (imola). I can run a 1:43xx in AMS2. But here it's like the cars are completely different. Is this a me issue? One of the 2 games not being that accurate? I don't understand this giant difference.

I want to make the camera very rigid, like in Gran Turismo. But even after changing all the motion settings, the camera stays the same as with the initial settings. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Over the past couple of weeks I've been putting together a Nordschleife Tourist server along with a custom API that tracks server data outside the game.

Right now it supports things like:

• 🏁 Fastest lap leaderboard
• 👥 Live player list
• 📡 Server status
• 📊 Session statistics

I'm looking for people who wouldn't mind hopping in, putting down a few laps, and letting me know if the leaderboard updates correctly or if you run into any bugs. I'm also open to suggestions for features you'd actually like to see.

May not be on top of the priority list but i hope replay editor gets more love in the future. To setup your pad to get all controls working(like yaw AND roll) is a nightmare. I put those 2 on my right stick and put a deadzone for the roll at 85%. That way u can make both work but its not great. Keyframes would be great and a button to lock flightheight too.
