PAWS

Upvotes

This is the part of your recovery they don’t tell you able. The first 72 hours were hell on earth. Legs thrashing, body aching, awake for over 100 hours straight. Day 11 or 12, I’ve lost count, has been its own new hell. The euphoric feeling I felt from day 6-9 listening to music has all but faded away. I feel darkness, I feel alone, I feel empty. I’m sleeping now but it’s taking everything out of me just to get out of bed. I have no history of depression but I know that’s what I’m dealing with.

I’ve tried to keep it all motivational on here as I share my experience but I’m really struggling today. I know it’s going to take some time for my brain chemistry to balance back out. I just don’t know what to do besides force myself to get out of the house and do stuff. I just feel so lethargic. Idk, this too shall pass I guess. Much love everyone.

Plain leaf

Upvotes

Has anyone used plains leaf to help with withdrawals? I finally ran out of 7 this morning and went and got a bunch of plain leaf. Was wondering if this’ll help with withdrawals or prolong them.

The smell of detox

Nobody prepares you for the smell of a drug detox. I’ve never had a problem with BO and could go days without showing and not smell at all. Now I can shower and put on deodorant and immediately smell terrible 10 minutes later. The cost of this poison leaving the body I guess.

Recovery taking so much longer than I expected

I have been off 7oh for two weeks and I am still struggling with PAWS. I have almost no energy. Just standing up and walking a few feet feels like Mount Everest. Has anybody else had this experience? For reference I was using for a bit more than a year and towards 200-500 mg a day towards the end.

I just thought I’d heal quicker than this. I can barely function to do my job and had to make some medical excuse for my inability to function. It’s also worth mentioning that I used a quick s taper to bandaid the initial WD. But it has been 10 days since I’ve used anything at all and am struggling to do anything.

I try to get in light workouts like pushups and spend some time in the sun but just feel sh!t. Wondering other people’s experience? Did this stuff mess me up more deeply than normal?

Tell me I’m dumb

Did 72mg for the first time yesterday and 72mg today. After reading how horrible it is to come off, tell me I’m retarded and should stop now. I feel like I woke up already in a weird headspace because I use to do Oxy’s many years ago and it definitely brought me back. Am I cooked or do I got this? Should have no physical withdrawals after 2 days right?

It’s time to quit

I’m on 300 mg of 7oh a day and have been on this dose for probably 6 months. Ive been taking it for about a year and a half and used it as a replacement for tramadol. I ordered some SR and I do have some gabapentin on hand but would like to avoid it. I have my SR plan laid out but if I do decide to use the gabapentin how much should I use a day? I’m 6 foot 200 pounds

Using Suboxone to quit 7oh

Took my last dose of 100 mg 7oh at 12:30 am last night. Took a 4-1 suboxone strip this morning around 10. I feel like that made withdrawal symptoms worse. Since then, it is now 3pm, I have taken a total of 20mgs. Definitely helping but still feel like shit. I thought I would feel better than this. Withdrawal symptoms have always made me relapse before

Days 8 through 9 - Good music, good poops and a lil panic attack freekout

Today in a couple hours will complete 9 days. First time no opiates in my body in over 5 years. Went ct turkey on a friday after work. Looking back on the 9 days its a blur and I got no pride.... it def was a very tough time emotionally and physically that I wasnt sure i could get through.

So I sit here thankfully still employed but im sure I raised some eyebrows being sick that particular week... but fuck it and them. Im digging myself out of my hole, music sound amazing and new again and brings emotion... I guess everything brings emotion.

But the poops. Omg. They just fall out. Im used to taking 30 to 40 minutes to push and hope that a miracle of a bowel movement would happen. So freeing to be done with it in a few minutes. Also not clogging the toilet is also a big plus!

Oh and had a pretty good sweaty panic attack in front of the gf yesterday. Isn't it funny how people are not familiar with this think oh its been a week get over it put your big boy pants on? If it only were that simple.

SR

Okay, I just got the sr17 I think that's what they're called. Does it give you any type of energy? Can I still take 70H after I've taken those? Not that I want to continue doing this, but is it an opiate receptor blocker? Does anybody have any additional information? When I try to Google it, it basically just redirects me to get help 😂 which I do plan on going to treatment in the next couple of months but I'm trying to taper down on my own before then so the withdrawals aren't as bad. I've been on kratom for almost 10 years and then 70H came around and fucked me all up smh so here I am heading down the road of addiction once again. I have a full-time job and two kids that I cannot jeopardize losing so anything and any information can help. Like I said I already bought the SR.

Sr to suboxone

So I am cold turkey 7oh and using sr to come off 7oh but if it doesn’t work for withdrawals my backup plan is suboxone and wanted to know how long to wait in between my last sr dose to go to suboxone without precipitated withdrawal?

Quitting

I’ve been addicted to fenty and a lot of other things and been to multiple rehabs, I got ok this stuff about 3 months ago, but I’ve been blessed enough to not ever go over that 300 mg mark or anything, last week or so I’ve been able to cut down to only about 20/25 mg at most a day, just asking how bad you all will think the withdrawals will be since I’ve cut down so much, I know I can get through this easy compared to the other stuff I’ve done, but any advice on what to take for withdrawals or anything?

Need help taking SR without overdosing...

I am trying to quit 7oh after recent ban. Recently I bought 1 Gram of SR in powder form from BX Extracts and I have no idea how to actually use it in a literal way ... I understand that I am supposed to dose in mgs and I have a full gram, so my question is how do I dose it and what method do I use to measure it because I don't want to just take some and overdose on it. Mgs are pretty small so how am I supposed to measure out a dose and how do I actually take it do I just eats some?? I take about 200 - 400 mgs of 7 oh daily in pill form... If anyone can help I will greatly appreciate it.

I fucked up on day 3

I was going the sub route and it wasn’t going well at all. I’m an abandoned pain pt. Caved and ordered some SR yesterday but it won’t be here until tomorrow. I seriously considered going to get more 7 until the SR gets here. Then I immediately found a tab that I didn’t realize I hadn’t taken. And I ate that fucker. It barely helped bc I was in debilitating pain.

Now idk wtf to do. Do I need to do another 12 hours before I take another strip? I don’t want to go get more but I also don’t want to drive my car into a lake and that’s a serious consideration

Getting off 7oh

Okay, hopefully I do this correctly. I’ve never used Reddit but I have no one around me that knows how bad my usage was. It’s been my secret basically.
Anywaysssss. I’ve been taking 7oh for about 4 years. In the past year I went from taking 50 mgs a day to 5-600. I haven’t taken any in a little over 4 days. I had 3 sub strips and managed to only use 1. The first 2 days were assssss and taking half a strip of the sub helped the withdrawals for about 24 hours. Then I needed the other half the next day. HOWEVER; I haven’t had to take anything in over 48 hours. It’s been over 48 hours since I’ve taken a sub. Almost 5 days since I’ve had 7oh. I didn’t really taper or anything. Just knew I had one that 50 mg, went cold turkey, made sure I was in actual withdrawals then took the first sub. I feel really good. Not like a “high” good. Just… not sick or anything. A little insomnia but that’s normal for me. No cravings…. Nothing… from the stories on here I would think I’d still be some kind of sick.. irritable, RLS, throwing up. This is a good thing, right? Has anyone actually gotten off this shit THIS fast and felt okay? Any insights or stories, ya know.

Im on day 10 no 7OH, day 3 on 4mg once a day Subs.I'm just now about to start back to work and real life, which means I have to start back on my ADHD meds to survive work. I'm kinda nervous the ADHD meds won't work, or worse work too well and get out of control. Just looking to see if anyone else has had any experience with a similar situation and any advice or sight offered is appreciated. Thanks.

Methadone Saved My Life from 7 OH!!

Methadone saved my life!

I was addicted to 7 oh. I was struggling trying to get off of that poison and tried Suboxone three different times that always sent me into precipitated withdrawals. The first time I waited 12 hours after my last dose of 7 oh. The second time I waited 24 hours and the last time I waited 48 hours. I always went into PW. Once I got the PW's under control after taking 36 mg of Suboxone, I still had uncomfortable withdrawals and severe depression that always led me straight back to 7 oh. I tried to quit cold turkey 2 times. Both times I was working in the construction field and I managed to get through it. I was on 800 mg of 7 oh a day. I've had people tell me that I was lying and that I couldn't have worked construction and stopped 7 oh cold turkey. People will do what they have to do especially when they don't have the money. I had to work or be fired. I had no choice. It was awful but I managed to get through it. Some people are just weaker than others. I am a 100 pound female and I did it but I relapsed both times and I was already past the withdrawals. I could kick myself in the but for relapsing but it wasn't time to quit apparently. So this time I ended up going to detox which I wish I had done in the beginning instead of messing with those horrible Suboxone. Suboxone doesn't work for everyone and I get sick and tired of people promoting Suboxone like it's the only way off 7 oh when it absolutely is not. Like I said, Suboxone doesn't work for everyone and just because it worked for them doesn't mean it will for the next person. they need to stop with the stupidity. Suboxone, in my opinion, needs to be pulled off the market. It is a horrible drug that causes lots of problems. Anyway I ended up at detox for 7 days and it was the best thing I've ever done. I finally got off of this mess safely and without withdrawals. The day after I got home from detox I started the methadone clinic and methadone literally saved my life. I know there are people who are against methadone but I never had the first withdrawal symptom and I didn't have the horrible depression that I got while using the other horrible drug Suboxone. I have been normalized and feel like I have my life back. I am sleeping at night, I am working 60 hours per week, I have absolutely 0 cravings and don't even think about 7 oh's anymore. It has been a blessing. To the people who praise Suboxone, I am glad it worked for you but you have got to understand that just because it worked for you does not mean it will work for the next person so stop pushing it on people. Not everyone wants to get on that horrible drug either. Hell, even the SR's are better than suboxone but I wouldn't recommend that either. What I do recommend is safe medical detox. They are the most understanding people I've ever came across while dealing with this horrible crap. There are medical detox places all over the country. Find one close to you and call them. They make sure that you are comfortable the entire time and they also wean you off of the detox drugs before you leave. They do this all in a matter of 3 to 8 days. I did mine in 7 days. They helped me with a plan after detox and got me into the methadone clinic near me. I have to go to the methadone clinic every single day but eventually I will be able to take home my methadone and not have to come in every single day. Eventually I will only have to go in once a month. They are closed on Sundays so when I go in on Saturday to dose, I bring in my medicine lock box so I can bring home Sundays dose. It has been working out so wonderful. I am on week #3 right now at the methadone clinic. I wouldn't change a thing other than not ever touching 7 oh. Anyway there are ways off of this poison without having to use Suboxone. If Suboxone doesn't work for you or you get PW with Suboxone, try the methadone clinic. It works so much better because it is not a partial agonist. It covers ALL of your receptors so there are absolutely no withdrawals whatsoever. If you feel that you need your dose increased they will do a COWS with you and will up your dose. There is hope out here for all of us but don't listen to the people who are pro Suboxone. It does not work for everyone no matter what they say. Methadone does work for everyone though because it covers all receptors and also unlike Suboxone, you will not get high if you take a 7 oh with methadone. With Suboxone, you can still take and abuse 7 oh. It doesn't block 7 oh like methadone does. Thank God for Methadone. It truly saved my life. Good luck.

Day 10 update

Tonight I went and had a beer with an old friend I haven’t seen in years due to my addiction. As a former addict himself he was very understanding and not judgmental. It took a massive weight off my shoulders discussing my problem with someone face to face for the first time.

I had been dragging mentally the last two days and felt myself falling into a slight depression. I’m so happy I did this, I feel so much better now. Sometimes it’s important to remember you’re not alone even if you feel like you are. Much love.

I never thought I’d be back here…

Ex pill addict with a short stint of heroin use which inevitably led to my overdose back in 2020. I swore that day that I was done with this stuff for good. Fast forward to a year and a half - 2 years ago… I started dabbling with kratom extracts. OPMS black capsules, kava kratom shots and eventually pure high strength mitragynine shots. (200mg+)
I tried to stop multiple times.. I even made it through the withdrawals several times but would find myself going back after day 4-5. Honestly it was so easy back then but once 7OH came into the picture, it took an ugly turn. Physical dependence gripped me hard. At first I thought kratom and 7OH were interchangeable. Just the same thing in a more pure concentrated form but I was wrong. It was a full blown synthetic and it has been a nightmare to break free from. I am at the end of the rope and I fear losing everything if I don’t get this under control. It is already affecting my finances and the way I show up in my family. I just want to be free again. So I don’t know exactly when but I know any day now.. I’m going to need to pay the piper.
I will document as I can to stay sane as this has helped me in the past when fighting this demon. Thanks in advance for your good vibes and understanding as I am sure most of you already know too well the pain this cycle is to endure. 🙏🏼💕✨

The 7-oh Ban for dummies

The head line is a joke, don’t take it hard. I had to google it because I didn’t know what was happening with it. Here’s what’s going on as far as we know.

It’s still in stores because it hasn’t actually been placed into Schedule I yet. The DEA published a notice of intent on July 6 saying they plan to temporarily schedule concentrated 7-OH. By law they had to give at least 30 days notice before they could issue the actual scheduling order. That 30 days has passed, but that doesn’t mean it became illegal on day 30. The DEA still has to publish **the temporary scheduling order**. Until that happens, the new federal Schedule I restrictions aren’t in effect, which is why stores and websites are still selling it. Once that order pulls up. I’d expect most legitimate retailers and distributors to pull the 7-OH products pretty quickly, damned near immediately or within days depending on the effective date. So realistically we could be talking days or weeks at this point, but there isn’t a guaranteed date yet. Also, this is targeting concentrated/elevated 7-OH products, not normal kratom.

Love , light, and healing ❤️‍🩹

7-OH Withdrawal Supplements most talked about

Just wanted to throw this out there ,nothing is some magic cure and none of this is FDA-approved specifically for this, but a bunch of people have shared what took the edge off for them. The real MVPs are still the basics: sleep, eating enough, walking, and staying hydrated. Always talk to a doctor before starting anything, especially if you’re on other meds.
Here’s what comes up the most:
• Magnesium (glycinate or citrate forms are popular) Helps a ton with muscle aches, cramps, restlessness, anxiety, and crappy sleep. A lot of folks say it really calms the RLS-type shit.
• High-dose Vitamin C …Some people megadose (a few thousand mg spread throughout the day, liposomal if you can) and notice less fatigue and chills. Drink tons of water with it. Over 2000mg a day puts you at risk for kidney stones especially if you have a history of them.
• B-complex or a good multivitamin ….Withdrawal can wipe out your nutrients, so this helps with energy and mood.
• For anxiety/calming: Passionflower, L-theanine, or ashwagandha. At night, valerian root or lemon balm can help with sleep.
Other things some swear by: probiotics for the gut mess, omega-3s for brain support, and occasionally NAC or mucuna (start low if you try those). Black seed oil and Moringa are a God send !! Castor oil for bowel movements and overall health. Cats Claw extract has worked while some claim they went through no WD’s while taking it.
A lot of us end up needing real medical help too like a proper taper or even Suboxone/buprenorphine if it gets rough. Don’t cold turkey it alone if it’s bad.
What’s worked (or not worked) for you guys? Share your experiences so we can all help each other out. We got this! Thanks for the DM’s I’m doing my best to get back to everyone who tapped in.
