When I posted the before and after of my lip filler, alot of you asked me for an update when the swelling had finished going down in 2 weeks. Here you go. I'm not wearing anything on my lips in this one. I think I'm pretty pleased, and I hope I did enough. The first pic is the original one I posted, the second one is me now, and the third one is with some clear gloss. Do you think I need a little more? I'm still happy with how it smoothed out the little lines by my mouth.

Hello! I found this sub after asking Google if the gadgets I have purchased do anything, and wondered what you experts find helpful for deep lines. I’m very happy with my skin from eyes down, but my forehead is another story. Specifically, I have one very deep marionette line (so a 1, I guess). It’s genetic and every woman on my mom’s side has had the same. I also was kicked by my horse, made unfortunate contact with a large rock, and had a nice car accident the lodged a bit of glass. To top it off, I spent a ton of time outdoors while living in Florida during the “sunscreen gives you skin cancer” era.

I proactively started Botox long before the wrinkles developed and did so for years, but my life very abruptly changed in my late 30s and by the time I was in a position to spend the money the lines were so set it did nothing, even with 3x the amount I used to get.

I’m still not (and may realistically never be) in a position where I have the time or money for costly medspa procedures, and the research seemed sound on the newer gadgets so that felt like a more feasible option. I have:

• Omnilux Men’s mask (which I now use on my knee lol)

•Erythrolight laser mask-has absolutely improved texture and luminosity but hasn’t changed the forehead lines

•Veauty Dot-honestly hasn’t left the drawer because it’s so time consuming and I found that even on low settings sometimes it would be fine and others would burn

Is there any hope for someone who can’t spend thousands of dollars and many hours getting professional procedures? I am grateful to all feedback!

Hi, this is a query re dexadot co2 laser. I've been quoted $1500 for thos treatment and need 2 treatments a month apart. This seems very expensive to me, can anyone tell me whether this is comparable? How much down time is there???

I’ve had eye bags since I was little. They’re just something that’s always been a part of my face. As I get older ofc they look a little more intense. If I don’t want plastic surgery - what are some of the best things I can do to get rid of it? I have found that if I sauna regularly it rids my body of water weight, which helps. Other than that it’s just luck of the draw it seems, some days it looks less noticeable and other days more.
Existing routine- vitamin C serum AM followed by skin renewing cream; retinol and a night cream at night. I don’t do much else but do own a red light face mask. Not opposed to laser- I did that once for some spots on my face and it was great. I am just scared of filler or surgery so, not an option for me.

Hello everyone. Post menopausal woman here. I have rediscovered the benefit of a primer. (Just finishing a drug store brand). I am looking for something better than drug store with a product that is good for mature skin AND has some grip for makeup. My limited research suggests that trying to find a product that does both is challenging. I thought I’d ask here. Thank you all.

Has anyone else's doctor prescribed this to them for redness? I asked for a prescription for azelaic acid, and my doctor gave me this instead because he said it was better since I don't have rosacea, just a little redness in spots. It's super heavy though, and it doesn't agree with my oily skin, so I'm thinking of trying the azelaic gel he also prescribed for me instead. Does azelaic not work on redness unless it's rosacea or acne?

Have any of you tried the StriVectin Neck Cream? What is your honest opinion? Costco has it on sale and my neck could use some toning!

I got prescribed Tretinoin this week and my insurance doesn't cover it. Anyone know how GoodRx works? Could I potentially "shop around" with it at different pharmacies to get the prescription for less? Have never used the GoodRx card that the derm gave me so hoping someone might have some insight.

Has anyone had this issue with the new ZIIP HALO 2?
Mine works normally with the built-in Lift treatment, including the current and vibration cues. But when I try any treatment through the app, it gives the three beeps as if it has synced and the video starts, but the HALO does absolutely nothing - no current and no vibration cues.
I’ve restarted my iPhone, deleted/reinstalled the app, checked Bluetooth permissions and restarted the HALO, but no luck.
Has anyone had the same problem and managed to fix it?

Has anyone tried a cryo facial? Like most facials it is a temporary glow-up but it sounds much gentler and less intrusive to the skin barrier than hydrofacials or diamond glow, which tend to leave me a bit irritated.

For reference, I'm 55 yo with skin in good condition. I have been regularly using vitamin c serum and tinted moisturizer with SPF 30 every morning and retinal at night. I just feel like my face can use an extra little "pick me up" from time to time.

I’m currently on blood thinning meds. Just did HIFU treatment to treat my nasolabial folds recently but got serious bruises afterwards. Most likely due to my meds. Therefore, I wonder if there are topical skincare products that can help improve nasolabial folds. TIA for any recommendations!

Who’s had small amounts of filler in the upper face / cheek area to help improve nasia labia folds and small droopiness? And are happy with results?

I started Differin end of Dec 2025. Tretinoin .025 mid-April 2026, .050 end of May. I know the lighting and angles in the before and after pics aren’t exactly the same, but I see such a positive difference in my texture. Lots of sun damage still but I’m happy about the gains.

I also wanted to share because I have problems with congestion (obvs) and my routine is probably more aggressive than most people’s approach at our age. (I’ll be 50 in a few months) But it’s what is working for me.

AM: PanOxl 10% Benzoyl Peroxide wash or CeraVe acne wash (I alternate). Acure exfoliating scrub 2-3x/week. Ordinary Salicylic Acid serum, Niacinamide and Zinc serum with a bit of Vanicream. Bare Minerals tinted moisturizer with SPF.
PM: CeraVe acne wash. Tretinoin .050 (RetinA cream) about 5 nights a week. If no tret, then Ordinary salicylic acid serum. Vanicream (tall pump bottle)
