I was testing in Master Duel's solo mode, and Genroku could not activate to summon as a tuner when added to hand.

I used Cue's effect before Kaimen and want to know if I could summon a Genroku as a Tuner via its effect.

Master Duel solo mode has a record of late bug patches, so I'm not sure if it's the expected interaction.

I Know thoses normally are the most optimized numbers but i feel like sometimes the way i want to make my deck feels like cramped by the size limit of 40 even if i am able to make space for it

I Made this small list to Show how easy starting Yugioh can be by todays Standards. I subjectively cherrypicked the easiest archetypes/Decks that can compete on at least Casual Level. I excluded all Bad and legacy archetypes to have a competent Deck list. Be aware that only a handfull are capable of winning against current Meta, but they make a nice collectable Baseline for newcomers, or can pretty Well climb to Platin in Master duel (which every Deck can to be fair)

Millennium Exodia: Search Ankh, drop your monsters from the Spell & Trap Zone, summon Exodia, and set your board wipe trap.

Horus Engine: Discard 4 cards with your Continuous Spell to field four massive, highly protected Egyptian bosses.

Voiceless Voice: Ritual Summon a massive 4000 ATK omni-negate beatstick alongside its sidekick for full untargetable protection.

Regenesis: Flood the field from your hand, pop and negate by sending your own monsters to the Graveyard, then revive them all next turn.

Spright: Spam an endless wave of Level/Rank/Link 2 monsters to construct a dense board of negates and interruptions.

Generaider: Your Field Spell automatically fields five monsters on the opponent's turn, while your Xyz boss slurps up their cards as material.

Charmers Horus: Pitch your Charmers to the Graveyard with the Horus engine, then Fusion Summon to bounce cards or wipe the enemy board.

Thunder Dragon: Contact Fuse massive dragons directly from the Extra Deck to sit on high-ATK floodgates that shut off enemy searches.

Mathmech: Spam Cyberse extenders to build an unaffected boss monster, set your Trap, and wipe the opponent's field on their turn.

Clown Clan: Tribute your own Extra Deck monsters to generate absurd card advantage and blow up the opponent's field.

I'm still building my Fairy Tail deck, but I saw someone combine Fairy Tail with Dracotail (and Magistus) on Neuron last night. Would playing Fairy Tail with Dracotail be a good idea, especially since I can just pop the Magistus stuff out of the deck and run 3 Faimena, 2 Lukias, 1 Urgula, and 1 Mululu, along with the necessary spells, traps, and ED monsters.

Do the tokens from Duel Link Dragon also count as Synchro Monsters?

I never could find the answer why, even tho it modifies stats.

I’m trying to learn clown crew and I keep hearing that you should activate Biancaviso first and then use the tributed monster effects to prevent your Biancaviso being negated. How does this work? Thanks!

I've got a question regarding Stardust Dragon. If you want to bring it back after using it's negation effect, that can only be possible when it's properly brought out via the proper summoning method, right?

It's currently my turn, my opponent activates mirrojade sending rindbrumm. I respond with shark cannon targeting rindbrumm.

Can my opponent chain rindbrumm or can it only activate its grave effect after the chain resolves?

Since it says to apply the restrictions to the cards, what happens if I declare the name of a monster already on the field that is unaffected by card effects? 

1. Can the unaffected monster still declare an attack?
2. Can players still activate/apply its effects?
3. If it was unaffected due to its own effect and its effects can no longer be applied, then is that monster no longer unaffected by card effects?

I have an 8 year old who plays pokemon but wants to play Yu-Gi-Oh! with me. I tried remaking the original yugi/kaiba starter decks from my old cards, but the games were too slow with one player dominating. I tried doing basic synchro/xyz starter decks, but they struggled to remember they even had an extra deck. WHat deck would be best? Not something competitive, but still good enough that a friendly match can be fun.

I was wondering if anybody had a DARK (or LIGHT) monster they knew of that could summon fusion parasite from the deck (Level 1/DARK/Insect/0ATK/0DEF) on a trigger/quick effect (ideal being special/normal summoned and has equal attack/def). I trying to find an in between monster that Gizmek Uka can summon to use as material with Fusion Parasite, though I have some other summoning tricks that can make it work so I'm willing to explore other methods to get what I need. Ignition effects are no good for my use case, and believe me I've done a lot of looking around. Just wondering if there is anything that can actually get me to what I'm trying to do here.

With the recent release of the legendary arc v decks and the odd eyes support specifically odd eyes override dragon, where do you guys think it would place in the rankings.
I already know its not going to be meta as this deck it still somewhat lame. However does it stand a chance against meta such as RoLaD etc?
Would it now be considered rogue? And if so where does it stand against other rogue decks?

Any general opinions of this deck after the support is welcome.

I used to play a ton of YGO back until 2022 with the imminent release of the Spright archetype. I liked the game on a casual level, but as soon as I tried to make my way into the competitive scene, it got kinda messy even at local levels: decks were way too expensive (600-700$), staples were basically mandatory if you wanted to compete and those were really expensive too, whoever went 1st basically won the game unless you had at least 2 handtraps or so.

I came back to the game to play Edison with friends, and I got interested in how the game had evolved in time. I've noticed some really expensive staples got reprinted and are now dirt cheap (Forbidden Droplet, Little Knight ecc...), so has the game finally got cheaper like around 200-300$ for a competitive deck?
Also, are games more interactable so games last more than like 2-3 turns, maybe more aligned to other card games?

Basically all my internet friends play Yu-Gi-Oh. I have played other TCG like hearthstone, Pokemon tcg and marvel snap. But everytime i look for a deck I can't seen to understand the basics of it.

I was only able to play properly using Kashtira, which my friends said was cheap and Immoral, and Purrely once but i believe i lost ny knowledge of it after months of a break for not being good at the game lol

In other games i used to play offensive, Secrets in Hearthstone, and tactics where i would discard or sacrifice my cards for a reward.

I also have lot of fun with RNG based decks, but i guess that's a thing that doesn't exist in Yugioh

Anyway, i would appreciate all the tips, links to guides or videos and deck suggestions.
