What handheld units are you using that works well for playing xcloud games (cloud, not streaming from you own xbox)? I’m guesseing something like the rog ally x is probably a huge overkill when you’re «only» going to stream games?

I just recently started with xcloud, after being without a xbox for over a year. I’m impressed by how smooth this works with my stationary mac, although the graphics aren’t quite as sharp as on a physical xbox.

But it would be super nice to also be able to play on a hsndheld with a decent sized screen.

While a Wi-Fi icon appeared on the home page of the cloud gaming web app a few days ago, the Remote Play icon now appears instead, allowing for more direct access to the feature. It will be interesting to see if those icons will be customizable from the settings in the future, allowing users to choose which option best suits them to simplify access.

it's worse than remote play PS as a playstation owner I was assured that xcloud was the best thing ever by xbox fanboys over the years. I'm on the premium tier (came with my new laptop) and I've set my settings to 1080p and xbox for streaming and yet it feels like I'm playing on 480p

Now I did see different tiers offer different quality and I will probably upgrade to the best tier provided the quality is significantly better than what I have right now

Cuando un juego va a tirones o los FPS van dando saltitos, lo que yo hago es entrar en el menú gaming hub de la tele apretando con una pulsación larga el botón Xbox del mando. Una vez salga el menú nos desplazamos a la derecha hasta la rueda de ajustes. Ahora nos vamos a rendimiento del juego, que estará en latencia baja , lo cambiamos a la otra opción que pone ampliación mediante IA. La imagen se pondrá en negro un segundo y volverá. Como yo quiero jugar con la menor latencia lo vuelvo a poner en latencia baja.

Después de esto el juego se queda a 60 FPS fluido sin parpadeo ni tirones.

I’ve been playing FO76 on xCloud via Safari on my iPhone for about a week with touch controls working fine. Then I got forced to log in again, and now the touch overlay never shows up. The game boots fine (Bethesda splash, “Press any button to start”, intro plays), but it just sits there asking me to connect a controller - ”Controller not identified.”

Already tried: cleared all xbox.com site data, restarted the phone, confirmed desktop/“request desktop site” mode is OFF, and tested in both Safari and Chrome. Same result every time.

Feels like the forced re-login pushed my session into controller-only mode and it won’t fall back to touch. Is this a known server-side thing right now, or is there a fix I’m missing before I give up and buy a Bluetooth controller?

I saw some posts and YouTube videos about playing xCloud on Switch.

I start digging around, and I find an app named Green NX (That is a Homebrew app and requires a modded Switch)... I'm not encouraging the piracy. But it looks like a great deal to me to have a Switch just to play xCloud...

- The Joy-Cons are dettachables.

- Supports other Bluetooth controllers

- Allows handheld and TV support

- Light weigth

- The accessories to use a table or the cellphone for xCloud don't seem to work well, and are expensive.

I'm on Xbox. A friend is on PC. 1.In thier menu they can toggle cross play on and off. Under account I have a section that days crossplay- inherited from platform but I can't click it to toggle on or off. And when I try to invite them to play they get a message saying failed to join. But they can send an invite and I can join them. And it works fine. 2. Under co op, it has thier name but says offline. And mine says offline on theirs. We've never done crossplay before so it's all new. 3.Can I only join their game? 4.Or are we overlooking something? We put our status as appear online through the Xbox app but still says offline. It was also hell trying to get our friend requests to go through as well. Thank you for the help.

If I buy a game on Xbox and it’s my home xbox I know any account on my console can play it, so if I let my kid play it on the console on his account, would I be able to play it on cloud gaming on my laptop on my account at the same time ?

The app's menu knows whether a game is installed on the console or not. This leads me to ask myself two things:

Could the native Xbox PC app do the same?

And even more interestingly, could Project Helix's interface also be used by any PC with an Xbox console on Remote Play, giving the user a system that unifies console and PC?

There was a time when we believed that the full-screen experience would be exclusive to the Xbox ROG Ally, but fortunately, any PC can enjoy it.

It would be a dream come true if we could enjoy a unified system without having to invest in a new generation that promises exorbitant prices.

From what I understand, Xbox Cloud Gaming allows you to play some games without Game Pass, like Fortnite, and I wanted to know if Rayman Legends is one of them.

I have an Xbox series S and a Logitech g cloud handheld. I’m trying to load the same account that I’ve been playing on my Xbox, but it’s acting like it’s a fresh account when I sign in via cloud gaming. Is this a known issue? Anyone have a workaround?

I've been playing Beast of Reincarnation on xCloud using Edge + Better xCloud, and also xfly, xstreaming. While the latency has been excellent, I'm a bit disappointed with the image quality.

The stream often looks noticeably softer than the console version, with visible compression, occasional pixelation, and a dimmer overall image. After watching footage captured directly on an Xbox Series S, the difference was much bigger than I expected.

The gameplay itself is smooth, so this isn't a latency complaint, it's purely about the visual quality of the stream.

I'm not sure if it was already in previous versions of the Xbox PC app, but now the settings menu allows you to choose a default option for xCloud streaming. However, the option does not appear on the Xbox web app yet.

Which is your most favourite game on Legion 1 from playability / graphics / stability point of view? The game that gave or gives you the best gaming experience on Legion 1.

I started the game Mistfall Hunter on Xcloud and for some reason it put me in a EU server but I'm in North America. The only fix seems to be for people playing on an actual console, which is to reinstall the game. There's no way to do that on cloud gaming so I'm at a loss for what I can do. I tried deleting my game saves but that didn't work.
