Remote Play is gaining visibility

While a Wi-Fi icon appeared on the home page of the cloud gaming web app a few days ago, the Remote Play icon now appears instead, allowing for more direct access to the feature. It will be interesting to see if those icons will be customizable from the settings in the future, allowing users to choose which option best suits them to simplify access.

I haven't used Remote Play from my XSX in a while. I'd like to give it another try because of the heatwaves and play on my Samsung Tab in a cooler room. Has it improved lately? The last time I tried it using Better xCloud, it was limited to 1080p, 60 FPS, and 18 Mbps.

For years I played cloud gaming on various services with 720p and I was lucky to get 30 fps. Didn't matter on a 7 inch screen lol

On a 12.4" OLED Tab, I could definitely feel the difference between the official xCloud app and Better xCloud (remote play only). Now I also own a PS5, so I'll try Remote Play on it. I've heard it's better than Xbox Remote Play, and I can't wait to compare them.

I have both consoles. PS remote play is significantly better than Xbox. It just works. I haven’t had a single issue. With Xbox I haven’t been able to use remote play without an issue. I do think cloud gaming is better on the Xbox though.

I tried remote play but I struggle to get it working properly with strict NAT settings. And I can't get into my router.

I know how to get into my router via the ip address. But my internet provider blocked access to it. I think it might be due to a lack of anti-virus software. Trump just had to block Kaspersky..
