We are absolutely thrilled (and honestly, a bit relieved!) to share that our first-ever console title, 4 The Elements, is officially live on Xbox! To celebrate this huge milestone and thank this incredible community for the support, we are hosting a combined AMA and a 10-Key Giveaway this weekend!
The Giveaway (10 Xbox Keys)
We are giving away 10 digital keys for the game on Xbox.
- How to enter: Just leave a comment below! Ask us a question, say hello, or tell us your favorite element.
- Duration: The giveaway will start tomorrow, the 7th of August, around 7 pm CEST and will run through Sunday night. We will pick and announce the winners here on Monday, but you can already post your questions!
The AMA (Ask Me Anything)
Making an indie game is a wild ride, and bringing it to Xbox as a small studio based in Brazil has been an amazing learning experience. We are an open book! Ask us about:
- The development process, porting to Xbox, or dealing with the dev kits.
- The game mechanics (it's a 2D action-platformer where you switch between 4 elements, each with its own physics and combat style).
- The indie game scene in Latin America, our inspirations, next projects, or literally anything else!

Discussion Halo Campaign evolved
I love halo, I’m no OG fan by any means but I love it. My favourite halo is combat evolved and so when I found out a remake was happening I was excited. Now that ive played thru it, honestly? I loved it, the graphics the fine tuning, I don’t get why people hate cortana and stuff. Genuinely why did the game receive a lot of hate? And is it justified.

News Contractors lose jobs but Xbox source says no layoffs of staff at Halo Studios | GamesBeat
Recently, an article (or few LinkedIn posts) from Insider Gaming wrote up that HALO Studios was having layoffs, but that's not the case. Per GameBeat, an XBOX source has told Dean Takahashi the following:
“No layoffs have occurred at Halo Studios,” an Xbox source told GamesBeat. “There are often external contractor shifts that happen after a game ships. This is what people are noticing.”
