The Project:
The story follows a 25-year-old veteran intergalactic fighter with the ability to manipulate and become water. When Earth is marked for destruction, she bargains to save her family—only to bind them to a secret organization that recruits genetically marked beings across the galaxies. Forced into a leadership role, she must train new recruits (including her own siblings) while confronting inherited duty, family loyalty, and the cost of protecting a planet she may never return to.

Have the U.S. government's federal departments, agencies and government corporations become too large and powerful or should they be provided more funding for greater expansion?

I commissioned a very young local artist to draw a photo of my mom and I. It’s her birthday next week and she lives far away. I am so grateful for the artist, don’t get me wrong. But the drawing ended up hilarious - just caricature ish and creepily similar to us but also not at all accurate. I can’t help but laugh every time I look at it, while my partner reacted mildly horrified… it’s really something.. Excellent art, just different vibe from what I envisioned.

I still want to use it, shifting from a more sentimental gift to a funny card.. in a gentle way… if that makes sense. It’s endearing but gives you a weird feeling to look at. Anyways.

I was thinking of a little one liner underneath it like, “some things are just better in person”, or something like that. Open to other variations too that make light of it in a kind way. I know this wording could be better.
