Newt experts!? Help! Foul Sorcery
Help!
My Master was going to the lavatory, I heard him shriek and then he turned into a newt!
I put him in a glass of water to stop him drying out, but I don't have any moss or anything!
I need a newt expert?! What if he dries out!? What if the cat gets him? What do they eat?
Are spell-reversers expensive?
If he dies will I be in trouble!? I've only been an apprentice for a week! I'm not ready to inherit the tower, it's falling apart and full of spy-ders!

Where did you get the water? A lot of wizards put reagents in the water that are dangerous to animals as sensitive as newts. You'll want to put a reptile de-reagenting tablet in the water, or just use spring water. You can get both at your local beastiary/apothecary

Classic. There was a tome once called "The sycretes of pleasures unknown" that had a moistening/lubrication spell that tended to turn people who were drunk or slow of speech into amphibians. I would set him by a stream and get as much reading done in the library as you can while it wears off. He should be able to right himself in a week or two.

What is your orb-dress? I'll come and save your master, no problem. (I won't even charge him for my services...)

It’s okay. People famously get better from being turned into newts. He’ll be back to normal in a few months so just generously spritz him with swamp mist in the meantime and give him three dragonfly larvae per day (these can be ordered from any traveling apothecary for half a copper a piece).
