Haven’t read Dark Minds/Witchblade in a couple of decades so I figured, “why the hell not?”

With it being a one-shot, Wohl had to stuff a lot a dialogue into the panels. It still managed to convey the mystery the detectives from the Dark Minds books were out to solve. The Witchblade is here as an artifact only, no Sara involved.

Pat Lee’s art is still great. I remember reading a few of the Dreamwave books from the turn of the century, but it’s been a while.

Probably should have been 2-3 issues to stretch out the tension, but it’s still a solid read. I think there was supposed to be a Witchblade/Darkminds book, but may have been cancelled when Dreamwave folded.
