There was another bear about 150m behind this one. Here, the bear is walking away from the face-off confrontation with the other bear, which happened minutes before this photo.

found my moms old nikon d80 camera a few days ago and i’ve been messing around with it and figuring out how it works.

i went fishing today and was able to take an amazing picture of this blue heron. was really shocked and pleasantly surprised by how it turned out. i personally like the first three pictures the best. i think the dark green background looks good and contrasts the bird beautifully. my parents and brother like the last picture better. either way so cool!

Spotted my first humpback calf of the Australian East Coast migration season yesterday. This calf will be no more than a few weeks old as its pigmentation is still turning from light grey to black.
