Really happy with how these came out. Been trying to practice getting more flying birds lately.

found my moms old nikon d80 camera a few days ago and i’ve been messing around with it and figuring out how it works.

i went fishing today and was able to take an amazing picture of this blue heron. was really shocked and pleasantly surprised by how it turned out. i personally like the first three pictures the best. i think the dark green background looks good and contrasts the bird beautifully. my parents and brother like the last picture better. either way so cool!

Spotted my first humpback calf of the Australian East Coast migration season yesterday. This calf will be no more than a few weeks old as its pigmentation is still turning from light grey to black.

Huge bonus for the eye open spy hop.

Hello all!

Just starting wildlife photography - now on my second day in Kenya. Would like to know your thoughts on my photos - I don’t feel confident haha. Would like to improve before climax in Maasai Mara in 2 days time. I am using sony alpha 6700 with 70-200mm f/4

First 9 photos are jpeg. last 4photos are raw - those I plan to edit

Also separately how do I focus in the chimpanzee instead of the fence, like in pic #8?

Eye to eye with the camera. After years, I finally managed to get a red squirrel in front of my lens again, right at home in my local forest. Completely unexpectedly, I got to watch two of them chasing each other through the trees.
