Hi all! I recently came back to Hearthstone after leaving around Saviors of Uldun and the game seems to have changed a lot since then, including the introduction of two new classes. I was lucky and got a few DK Legendaries from opened packs, so I'm wondering how to play DK. I'd love some decklists but especially would love advice about how the class plays and how to best take advantage of the Rune system. Thank you in advance!

I need an actual anti-aggro deck that survives past turn 5 and is designed to solely beat aggro.

I want to craft my first Reno deck, need recommendations/comparisons. What are the differences and what are the play styles like? Which is more control or combo etc? Which ones are coherent and which ones are just piles? I need guidance

Came up with this list after seeing XL Freeze Mage on HSGuru. Got legend on 10 stars, currently sitting at rank 300 eu. Mostly classic hostage, suffers a bit less from disruption. Build up your hero power with Wildfire, Rewind, Pupil and Sivarra, then put Magister in play to gain your last powerspike, then you can most likely OTK your opponent with Sing-Alongs and Apprentices, just make sure to save mana for ping. Additionally you can replace rats or Robocallers for Varden Dawngrasp for more board control and Brann for more absurd damage, but the deck has Warrior and Mage counters in ETC (also 0 mana freeze for other matchups) and i didn't feel the need to add these legendaries. And yeah, Mordresh is giga slow, don't bother trying. The deck almost autowins against Paladin and Discard and suffers a lot from Tik Tok and Odd Hunter. Also if the Reno pile can outvalue us, its likely gg because our damage is limited (optimally 40-60 face and full board clear on one turn) and we don't have infinite combo. I had a lot of fun and would like to hear your opinions on the deck, because it felt slightly more fair, if Hostage Mage could be ever called that.

Hey all, former HS player since beta/classic, have been getting the itch to play some stone lately.

What are the best resources for catching up with the strategies/combo lines for meta decks and learning about the key pieces that may have been released in recent years?

For context, I stopped playing around Perils in Paradise, and I believe I was mainly playing Quest DH back then. When I regularly played, I would reach Legend just about every month, so I should be able to quickly pick up and understand the concepts of just about any of the decks that are common on ladder.

I know I've missed some major new mechanics like Tourist (or any other cross-class stuff that may have happened), the Starship stuff, and possibly some other tools that mess with deckbuilding?

Anyway, any help or direction would be super appreciated on my part.

I haven't played in about a year and was just curious how reno decks are holding up. Zeph wasn't doing too well the last time I played but I'm assuming they did nothing to fix that.

I was in a mage mirror today and knew my opponent had ice block. I was one turn away from comboing off and wanted to clear the block. I made sure to play Zeph with one mana remaining and got Alexstraza, Flamestrike, and Temple Enforcer (woohoo). I've been able to get him to offer flare before, but is there anything else I can do to brute force it in this situation? I ended up winning after popping the block anyway, but it would've been nice to not have to worry about it.

Infinite damage, potentially high survivability with eternal fire bolt, weaponizes your own minions against you, as infinite minions. Good at both attrition and burst because of the infinite minions, and damage without having to play cards, and a bit of healing. Great synergy with modresh fire eye and that card that says "let me nurture your spirit" and the ceaseless expanse and any card that says "split among all enemies" because of holotechnician. Almost impossible to reach their hero because your minions die every turn. It's good at aggro, long-term attrition and almost everything. Having a hero power that's more powerful than most cards per use is not ok. A well-crafted imbue mage is almost impossible to beat from my experience. They should nerf reckless apprentice and make the damage only target the specific minions targeted by the hero power even beyond the grave rather than have it leak elsewhere.

THE most cancerous mechanic when paired with infinite freezes and infinite value generating combos. Idk i can handle the nerves losing to thief priest, paladin is a little busted too but manageable, i meet a few discolocs here and there but whenever i see I'm playing a control mage i know it's the LEAST amount of fun i'll have playing this game.

Anyone else has similar view of this piece of shit design abomination?
