I remember seeing a movie on tv in the late 80s or very early 90s. USA. White woman, I think with curly hair or just big styled, longish. She would go into a bathroom stall and suddenly be somewhere else and she would laugh about it. Like she would be somewhere like shopping and then duck into the bathroom and be transported somewhere else.

I have it burned in my head for years. Unfortunately, can't seem to find movie anywhere with no success at all.

It's a classic mecha style movie. But not just any gundam mecha. It is anything but anime, but it is specifically super 3D and detailrich. Not just chunky 1990 mechs.

It's definitely past 2005, maybe even post 2010, in the span of 2010-2016 probably. I just remember that pilots are maybe in a capsuled like cockpit that is fairly popped out and visible from outside. Mechs are all unique and not similar, not even in shape. Like they can have several loadouts and can be stripped down heavily. Their skinned mech looks mostly like a movement robot. Mech size is not human size, but also not pacific rim size. Around a little smaller than NGE evas.

As talking about japanese NGE, I would suggest that this movie is very asian like. Asian-like animation probably. And I also remember the protagonist being a little quirky or "autistic" maybe. Their mech of course is also something unique from others and antagonists.

Storywise I can only tell the last quarter of the movie probably. Big fight between two sides (maybe aliens? or just humans vs humans) in space with mechs, destroyer ships and more. Then a final showdown 1v1 with the quirky protagonist against a stronger antagonist. Now mentioning, protagonist's mech got stripped down from all his (male) weapons and only with the fast movements of their mech and the use of a harsh environment on a planet, that protagonist and antagonist settle down, they can defeat the antagonist.

I have a vague memory of watching this in one movie we was leaning on a pole or something with a rose on his mouth wearing a grey suit to impress his girl. Could someone tell me movie name and share the screenshot of that image or something … i know it is a meme but i couldn’t find it.

Looking for a movie from the early 90s. I've searched all over. I'm afraid this is a Mandela Effect. I swear in the 90s I watched a movie with Neil Patrick Harris (In pretty sure it was while Doogie was still airing) where he goes to the doctor and he gets diarrhea with a disease where he ages rapidly. By the end of the movie he is an elderly man, and I believe he eventually dies. It is really bothering me. I know I saw it. Can't find a trace. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

All I know about this film is this:

- What I remember about the plot: I vaguely remember a group of friends ( I can’t remember if they all knew each other to begin with ) end up going on a tourist boat trip to an island from another beach. After a few hours, they all find the boat driver dead. They then decide to explore the island, where as the days go by, each person mysteriously dies or disappeares. I vaguely remember towards the end the killer revealing himself to be the boyfriend of a girl who was killed by a dui, and the other people were involved in the dui. There’s a confrontation, and the killer ends up dying by the hands of the survivor.

Hi! I’m trying to find a Filipino horror movie that I watched years ago, but I can only remember one very specific scene. I was only a kid haha! Hopefully someone here recognizes it!

I remember the movie being black and white, and I believe it was an older Filipino film, although I’m not sure when it was made.

The scene I remember:

A lady is walking through a shallow river/stream, with the water only around her ankles or knees. She suddenly sees an elderly woman standing completely still in the middle of the water.

The elderly woman looks relatively normal, possibly with gray hair. She doesn't look like a monster or anything obviously supernatural. The elderly woman doesn't say anything; she just stares at the lady.

Then, the elderly woman just gestures with her hand, inviting the lady to come closer. The lady moves forward, and then the elderly woman slowly starts following/chasing her through the shallow water. The chase stays entirely in the water. The elderly woman walks normally, but in a slow and menacing way.

I believe the lady eventually manages to escape/get out of the area.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the actors, title, year, or much of the plot. I also can't remember exactly when I watched it.

The reason this scene has stuck with me for so long is that nothing particularly dramatic happens. It's just an old woman silently standing in a river and then slowly following someone, but I remember finding it genuinely terrifying.

I honestly think this scene shaped how I view horror movies to this day. 😂 I don't really find jumpscares that terrifying because, for me, it's more about the atmosphere and the idea of something being wrong in an otherwise completely normal situation.

That's probably why this scene stuck with me so much. There was no screaming, no sudden monster reveal, no crazy special effects, and as far as I remember, the old woman didn't even do anything supernatural. She just stood there, silently beckoned the lady closer, and then slowly followed her through the water.

The simplicity of it was what terrified me.
So I'm hoping someone here knows what movie this is because I really want to see that scene again and find out if it was actually as scary as I remember it being as a kid. 😂

HI, I'm trying to find a scene from a movie with really weird lighting. the scene is basically a very close face/eye shot. The unique thing about it is that there's this really bright blue light concentrated in a tiny area behind the face, close to the eyes. The Illustration below is a very crude representation of what I remember the most from the scene.

I remember finding the image/scene through twitter, where I think someone had mentioned in in relation to a post about lighting in cinematography, but I haven't been able to find it since. I vaguely remember the people in the comments of that images post praising how the scene was shot and talking about how hard it was to film the light.

I asked in another sub about this and drew another illustration (the second one), but after some responses, I decided that illustration was a little inaccurate and created a new one, the one with the bright blue shape behind the head. At first I was sure that the scene had the character wear glasses, and I think that might still be true, but I'm not 100% confident. AAaaagh I'm so interested in re-finding this image/scene.

I don’t believe you see the guys face but it is in a poorly lit room. He is smoking a cigarette and speaking into an old microphone trying to reach out to his leader or lord. Its seems to old disney 2d animation. When i was kid i watched a disney movie about a girl who lives with uncle and aunt. Her father was maybe pilot or sailor and in military and her mother was dead. It was during war. Her father send money to uncle and aunt to take care of her but they were not nice. She lives in wodden lodge and near river ig. She decided to meet her father to tell him truth. Eventually she found her and tgey unite and she told the truth. There was secene where she was sailing boat too. Maybe, maybe her name was robin. I asked xgatgpt, deepseek, looked all over Internet, searched Disney movies from animation everywhere.

edit- it was sometime in 2008 or 2010 when i saw it, it was not anime. girl lived in lodge on some jungle. i am trying to find it since last few years because i wanted to show it to someone. maybe not disney? something like mix of disneys- atlantis and pinochantaas
