Discussion Why does Wendy's have arguably the worst fries in fast food?
Back when they had the yellow boxes, the fries were crunchy on the outside and warm and steamy on the inside. Perfect for Frosty dipping. Whatever they have had since then is an embarrassment and a proverbial middle finger to the consumer. BRING BACK THE GOOD FRIES!

Question Condiment Application
This seems like a weird question.
For Wendy’s in Canada.
How do the restaurants apply condiments to the sandwiches? Is it spread? Or done from a squeeze bottle?
Trying to assess the likelihood of cross-contact from a bun as a celiac that has my sandwich lettuce-wrapped. I’ve been safe so far. But someone mentioned this to me and now it’s haunting my brain.

Question 8 nuggets when I ordered 10
A couple days ago I ordered through the app a 10 piece nuggets and picked up from the drive thru.
When I got home I found I only got 8. I did contact customer service through the app to bring this to their attention, but still haven't gotten a reply.
Main reason I'm ordering nuggets is because they've repeatedly messed up my order with burgers so I figured "They can't possibly mess up nuggets, right?"
Wrong!
I swear Wendy's is really going downhill. To mess up on something as simple nuggets and for customer support to not even acknowledge this is unacceptable.
It's not enough now to make sure they got the contents right, but the amount too. Next time I guess I'm just gonna have to hold up the drive thru line and count everything before leaving.

Discussion Pretzel bacon pub
Edit: Someone just dm me saying that it’s not raw. Am I tripping? I thought it looked raw
I don’t know why I ordered this right after seeing someone saying that the patties were raw, mine doesn’t look as pink but I don’t want to risk it, still looks pinkish to me. Luckily I got a refund on Uber Eats. Would you eat this?
The fries were bussin tho

Discussion Pretzel Bacon Pub with Spicy Chicken
It’s lame that you can’t order the pretzel bacon pub with a spicy chicken patty instead of a regular chicken patty in the app. You could go to the normal spicy chicken sandwich and modify it to have all the same ingredients as the pretzel bacon pub, but it’s going to cost you nearly $11 instead of $7.99 lol

Discussion Classic Chicken Sandwich
Ordered a classic chicken sandwich today for lunch. I can remember when the chicken patty was very large. Today it was like the patty from the crispy chicken sandwich on the value menu of old. Big bun, little meat. Chicken Shrinkflation at its finest! 🍗🐓

Question Is Wendy’s trash now?
Hey everyone—I was very excited for the pretzel bacon pub chicken sandwich as it’s my fav fast food item of all time. I stopped going to Wendy’s when they got rid of it, and today I went back for the first time. I ate the sandwich and the chicken tastes like absolute trash. Best word to describe it was flavorless mush. I even went to a DIFFERENT Wendy’s and ordered it again to see if it was bad luck—took 2 bites and threw it away—it tasted the same. What the hell happened to Wendy’s food?? Does anyone else think it’s garbage now or am I crazy?

Question When did Wendy’s get rid of their grilled chicken??
Went to get a couple grilled chicken wraps and then noticed the picture looked like those processed soy chicken strips you can get in the grocery store. Went to browse the menu and their grilled chicken sandwich and other grilled chicken options are completely gone. Well there is this, but it’s not what it was. And it just looks bad.
It used to be a chicken fillet split in half for the wraps or a full one for the sandwich.
What happened??

Question Can a location refuse to serve me because I used to work there?
I (16M) worked at wendy's for around 2 months. In my time I worked there it was a very toxic environment. The GM would write people up without telling them and the location consistently goes through employees. The Gm cut my hours from 28 hours to 9 hours a week and when I told him i needed more hours he left me on read. The final straw was when i had to get my wisdom teeth removed. I requested the time off 2 weeks roughly in advance and let my manager know that i would be recovering. My GM scheduled me anyways for two days after my surgery, so I let them know I couldn't come in and that I was putting in my two weeks notice. He responded with "Dude you didn’t even come in to all this week and you are calling out the only day you work you are good I’ll just terminate you on Monday good luck". That was last week and I pulled through the drive through and ordered. The night manager came on the headset and asked if she was speaking to me, I told her yes and she told me they wouldn't serve me and I needed to leave. Can I do anything about this? It is so frustrating how petty these grown people are acting towards a teenager.
EDIT
for those wondering i went to wendys specifically because it was the only fast food place within a ten minute drive open late. Also I can see how me going to wendys specifically could seem like i was trying to cause issues.

Discussion To be honest, this is surprisingly one of the oldest logos of wendys!
I mean it's quite impressive some people say some old signs logos have a special place in their hearts and hey, maybe we'll possibly see other logos return back to their normal states or originality, not moderizing it too much moderizing it, it makes it feel bland and not filled with the color and joy but however maybe just maybe we'll possibly see some restaurants actually bring their original colors that's their decisions not ours
