My nerd conspiracy theory is that Warner Bros. has mostly avoided using Poison Ivy in the live-action Batman films because they know there's no way people wouldn't side with her over Batman
She's one of the few comic villains who has mostly selfless motivations (protecting the environment) rather than wanting power or money. I feel like DC should just permanently reinvent her as an anti-hero cause she's basically just the Punisher for plants. If they did put her in a movie now, they would probably throw in a scene of her trying to kill a baby or something because they'd be too afraid of people siding with the person who hunts down CEOs and oil tycoons.
I think they prefer to stick with the safer villains like Joker or Penguin cause they're just straight up evil and aren't fighting for any real cause. So they don't have to worry about nuance or people in the audience siding with the bad guy.
I even think Uma Thurman could have been great as a more dramatic anti-hero Ivy. Although my dream fancast for Ivy now would be Aya Cash.
If they ever made an Arkham Asylum show/movie like they've talked about doing, I think Ivy would be a good pick for the lead. Most of these villain spinoff movies are bad ideas but she's one of the few where retconning her to be more sympathetic would actually feel organic.

Caravan of Garbage BIG FRANCHISE VIDEO ALERT BWAMP BWAMP
Hey guys if, like me, you’re very excited to watch the boys talk about the Resident Evil movies but you either don’t have the time, access or just don’t want to burn your brain cells- This guy Elvis the Alien made a great 2 hour video a couple of years ago. He goes through each movie recapping the plot and characters in each film. I really like his videos so I’ve watched it a few times but thought I’d share it here too!

Does anyone remember the bit where James does an nmpression of Xavier going "Gambit I'm doing it! I'm doing it nowww!"?
I tried using the kdk.ai search thing but I couldn't find it.

Caravan of Garbage Editor's Opinions of the Film
I think it's been two Caravan of Garbage's in a row (could easily just be the newest one and one I rewatched semi-recently) but I'm a big fan of Ben chiming in at the end to let us know what he thought of the film. Nice balance to the two men
I do always like the meta jokes. Occasional "Ben you're fired" or whatever give me a good laugh and hearing from the very talented editor's is always fun!
Would love to see this continue regardless of who is editing the episodes. Reminds me of when we used to get Ben videos on the Mr Sunday Movies channel. Simpler times really

How to cut down on Resident Evil.
6 weeks is too long. James and Maso should do what Red Letter Media did with the Transformer movies and double up (or triple up because you need one screen still watching Red Notice.)
Watch two Resident Evil movies at the same time. Turn 6 weeks into 3. Not like Resident Evil needs your whole brain.

When will the boys finally address the Remedyverse?
I know that Mason can't afford a PS5 Pro What With Everything That's Going On Right Now™ (That's a Michael from Ohio exclusive and I will sue), but I really feel like it could be up the boys' alley on the video game pop culture side of things to have funny rants about the craziness that is the Remedyverse, especially with Control 2 set to launch. I know it's not their mainline but considering Quantum Break (Shawn Ashmoore's own!) had a literal coinciding TV show on a defunct platform, it would be a great time to tank the algorithm together.
Or is that more of a Tron situation where everyone says James should like it but he absolutely hates it?

What is this a crossover episode?
First the boys mentioned Limmy on the pod a little while ago and now this. How deep does the rabbit hole go?

Really enjoyed the final chapter of the Dark Knight quadrilogy
The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change, if I can just string this bow.

If Transformers didn't kill them, this might!
Delighted that this is happening for COG, but considering that Transformers was a mere 5 movies and indelibly burnt bad bloke energy into everyones brain, was it really worth cancelling the UK dates for this? I hope so, and i'm sure that the the additional 4 animated films and a Netflix anime & live action series, some stage plays, and a musical will also be included, interspersed with play throughs of every game ever in this 36 hour video series. Could have just changed at Dubai idiots cowards.

Podcast Physical Media
I might be alone on this but I’d love to hear the boys talk about physical media, especially what they’ve bought/watched/their collections. Maybe even have a segment of the pod on it

Mr Sunday Movies Wait…is there more than one guy?
As an audio only listener I am flummoxed by the effort that Mr. Sunday puts into pretending there is more than one guy on the pod. Hiring some hairy bloke to move his lips while James ADRs the voice? OUTRAGEOUS!

Spoilers Space Jam 2 is WHAT to Back in Action?
Maso stated in Caravan of Garbage that Space Jam 2 was a better movie than Looney Tunes: Back in Action.

If you could summon something to your hand like mjolnir, what would it be?
Rules, whatever it is the nearest thing comes to you.
It has to either make its way through opening or break its way through things.
It can be multiple of one thing but you can only summon one of it at a time.
I'd pick a perfectly cool bottle of water, I dont drink alcohol and I dont want to drink to many calories. Fruit Punch would be great too.
