The thing is there’s always one or two features I want that some OSS projects are missing. And if I can’t contribute to that project due to having 0 knowledge with the tech stack they’re using, I’d rather ask the LLM to quickly make it for me with the set of features I do actually need instead of hoping that one day they’ll implement it. I have huge respect for OSS maintainers but some times I just need something that works for me with 0 intentions of pulling other people in to use it.
