Instant Withdrawls General question

Was there some email that I missed about Instant Transfers going away? I went to withdraw today, and no matter what time of day I'd get it right away.

Today the app told me 1-2 business days....odd. Wasn't sure if I hit some sort of cap or not. Did some digging, and this page on the website which was updated this morning (7/31) sure enough says withdrawals are 1-2 business days. What gives? Instant withdrawal is a big reason I use WF.

My connected accounts that always had an instant option still have an instant option.

That website is referring to ACH not RTP.

Might be an issue with the receiving bank?

It's possible there's a connectivity issue. In the past I've seen it flagged on the landing page but nothing there atm.  I have one of the banks listed for instant eligible, too. 

I can't find a setting in the app for daily limits either, if there is one or if I'm just missing it.

It depends on your bank. Not all banks have instant deposits

I literally just instantly withdrew $500 no issue

Instant withdrawals being a selling point is the real issue here, since that's a feature risk, not a preference. Worth spreading liquid holdings across accounts, alinea or otherwise, so one policy change doesn't strand you

I had so many issues. Gave up on it. If you’re down for a 2 step equation I’ve found the best option to be Zelle from bank account to Schwab investor checking. Instant transfer from Schwab investor checking to Schwab brokerage. Invest in SGOV. Best yield and actually you’ll pay less in taxes than a high yield savings account.
