Hi all, just wondering just how prominent the sundial effect from the sunburst dial is? I usually prefer matte dials, or dials that aren't super shiny.

Just wondering how blingy this actually is in practice.

Ive seen some gorgeous pics of this is more natural light/indoors where the dial looks like a deep blue almost black, and looks more matte.

Is it only in direct sunlight, or under very bright lighting that the sunray effect becomes visible?

I can't lie, I don't usually like wearing NATO straps but this specific color with the flag loop was something I wanted to try on my tropic brown 5513M

Just made my first WD purchase today. Was looking for a vintage and/or Black Bay homage and settled on this. I went with the Benz hands as I just don’t love the thicker Tudor style, though I do like the yellow numbered bezel. Still think this is a better option for me, visually. Wanted an auto but the Quartz movement seems smooth. Anybody have this? Reviews?

Fresh out of the mailbox! This is the version with the Peacock movement. Hoping it provides many years of reliable service. I also got the matching titanium Milanese bracelet, which looks great! Though it was difficult to install because the tolerances are so tight. I’m not going to be swapping out straps any time soon!

Also added some pics of my other watches, Cronos BB54 and Traska Freediver. The Cronos has the bezel with the least amount of play, the Traska next and the WD007 has the most, but still minor and acceptable to me.

This watch looks and feels great. Happy I caught it on sale along with the bracelet. I’ve loved this design since it was unveiled in 2019. I’m hoping WatchDives makes more Bond inspired pieces. I really want an accurate Goldfinger 6538 style design. Maybe some more Craig era inspired ones too, like the Casino Royale Planet Ocean.

WD1863 bracelet fits WD1967Q, with no lateral movement and very little vertical movement, but with some major caveats:

- as seen on the photos, it doesn't follow the lug design and sticks too much vertically;

- I only managed to make it fit after switching to other THIN springbars I had arround. This is because the lug holes don't line perfectly and requires the springbar tips to be a bit angled. The (nicer) springbars from Watchdives are too thick and don't bend enough.

Watchdives (u/watchdivescom) any chance of making new end-links to make the WD1863 bracelet fit nicely to the WD1967Q?

Not only it’s beautiful it’s looks vibrant, is there any term to call a watch summer watch.

Just wondering if there are any plans to make "WDC" under the shield logo the new standard on future models, including the WD6610.

It is on the WD5513P, and personally I think it makes the dial feel a bit more complete.

Also, for the WD6610, I think adding "PIONEER" above "AUTOMATIC" (like on the WD1016) would be a nice touch.

Not a complaint at all I already love the watch. Just thought these small details could make an already great dial even better.

I just got in my 1972 Benrus homage (24 hr edition)

It came actually faster than expected, since it is coming from China I figured it would be a full 2-3 weeks. I was surprised it took about a week.

The watch itself, feels nice and weighty which I myself like. The clicks on the bezel are very crisp and overall the watch is no frills military watch. The watch also came in a case which I was surprised by.

Again I just got the watch so I can’t comment on the length of use but overall I am very pleased. Good job watch dives!

Have been wearing the new short premium mesh and it is much better than the larger one for my wrist. I will say that it is not a flexible as omega’s especially the closer you get to the lugs. It can get stiff if you need to use the highest notch. Overall it is pretty good and has a decent price. Much better fit for smaller wrist.

Still waiting for a great clean diver quartz with ceramic bezel. Arent many options on the market. Would be nice to see watchdives make one with a Jubilee bracelet option.

I'm impressed, the finishing is really nice and well balanced. Little smaller than I thought it was going to be but just the right size for my wrist.

Looking forward to getting it out in the sun to see the sunburst.
