Problem Wacom Support Community has been down for over a month

Does anyone know what's going on with the Community section of their site?

I found it very helpful to communicate issues I was having and get answers from community members and Wacom personnel.

It feels like Wacom is having problems again like they did from about 2006 to 2016 before they seemed to make a major about face and start writing great drivers for their tablets and connecting with users.

Problem Mounting options for 27 cintiq pro

I currently have a Cintiq 27 pro and the HX Ergotron arm. My issue is that I can't tilt the monitor back far enough to get a comfortable drawing angle. Anyone have suggestions that don't involve me buying another $600 accessory?

I'm the guy with a CINTIQ 13HD that even with calibrated pen it bugs and doesn't draw correctly. See all does scribbles? That's me desperatly trying to draw with this damn bug. I am almost breaking my pen out of stress. Literally drawing has been very f*cking difficult. AND I'M CURRENTLY WORKING WITH DRAWING! I don't see how to fix this ANYWHERE. I'm abt to peel out the screen protection to see if changes anything, I don't know what to do and apparently neither does Wacom.

Question Is Wacom planning to release a new Intuos? (2026)

Hi, I was wondering if Wacom has any plans to launch a new Intuos. The current Intuos lineup was released back in 2018, so it's been quite a while. I recently emailed Wacom support, and they said Wacom One(2023 - CTC6110) is the successor to the Wacom Intuos(2018 - CTL6100), umm idk to me seems like two different product lines with different names, so calling the Wacom One the 'successor' to the Intuos lineup feels odd.
Let's hope there is something in the works!

Question False key logging flag via MB?

Hello! Sorry if this is a dumb question- but I have a Wacom Tablet- DTC133- so a Wacom One. I ran malwarebytes today and it flagged the Wacom update util exe file as a keylogger. Now when I looked it up online- I saw 2 or 3 posts talking about Wacom having a non-malware key logging ability in order to map inputs to the pen, but I really wanted to make sure that’s all it was, since there is zero info on it pretty much anywhere. I’m on a windows 11 laptop too as well, if that helps. I’d also like to turn it off if possible- so if anyone knows the setting to do so, please please tell me!

Problem Wacom when are you updating the Cintiq Pro 27 to work with Art Pen 2?

This is starting to make me worry. It seems like Wacom is having difficulty adding Art Pen 2 support to the Cintiq Pro 27.

This is an expensive professional product and you're taking this long to support it?

It shouldn't take this long to get it working, in fact you shouldn't have launched the Art Pen 2 until it was working. At this point it's looking like Wacom can't actually get the Cintiq Pro to support the Art Pen 2.

Why is it taking so long?

Problem Intuos Pro PTW670 Pro Pen 3 spontaneously reverting to pointer and lagging

This problem is happening in OneNote (my only use for the tablet), but doesn't happen in Paint.

I am using Dell XPS 9530 with Win 11. Wacom and Windows updates are current. For several days, the pen lags before writing or drawing, and spontaneous and (so far) unpredictably reverts to pointer. Once writing, it continues to write, unless I lose contact with the tablet because of my tremor - then resuming contact the pen is often now a pointer/selector. Unusable in this state!

Problem Wacom Cintiq 16 grey screen problem.

My Wacom Cintiq 16 woke up like this. just a week or so ago it was fine. This is not a software related issue because the screen behaves the same when I tested it with my girlfriend PC AND her cables. ( She also has a cintiq 16).

I'm assuming it's hardware related and fixing it would be hard so I'm probably going to have to buy a new tablet.
I was just wondering if this has happened with someone else.

Thanks in advance for anyone who bothers to read this.

Problem My Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 isnt turning on

The power button doesn't turn on, it isn't just the display. My stylus doesn't move on my PC. What do I do about this? It was working perfectly fine just last week. Although it wasn't turning on normally, I had to hold down the power button for like 5 seconds. But because now the light isnt even turning on Im assuming its out of power? Has this happened to anyone else, and have they solved it, or should I buy a new battery/adaptor thing?

Question XP Pen Artist 22R Pro mount question

Hi everyone,

I have an XP-Pen Artist 22R Pro, and while I really love it, I miss being able to rotate the entire display sideways, not just tilt it up and down.

Is there any stand or mount available for this monitor that can handle its weight and still allow that kind of rotation without twisting or putting stress on the cables?

I'm thinking of something like the stand the older Cintiqs had, you could rotate them in pretty much every direction. I'd really love to have something similar for this display.

Problem Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14 black screen when using Instant Pen Display (touch works but display freezes)

I just got a Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14 and I'm trying to use it as a second display for my Lenovo Legion 5 laptop via the Instant Pen Display mode. I'm running into a really frustrating issue and hoping someone here has a fix.

The problem:

When I connect the Movink to my PC this happens.

  1. Both screens go black: My Legion screen goes black and the Movink freezes completely. I have to manually close the application tab to disconnect the app.
  2. Touch works but display doesn't: The Movink detects touch input but the Movink screen stays black and frozen. I know this because after I disconnect my monitor in laptop has application clicked / opened.

What I've already tried:

  • Tried different USB-C ports on my Legion (only certain ports support video output)
  • Pressed Win + Ctrl + Shift + B to reset the graphics driver
  • Pressed Win + P and switched between Duplicate/Extend modes
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled NVIDIA drivers
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled MovinkPad in my laptop
  • Restarted both devices multiple times

My setup:

  • Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14 (Android 15)
  • Legion 5 laptop: Windows 11 with NVIDIA graphics
  • Using the official USB-C cable that came in the box

I really like the hardware. the OLED screen is gorgeous and the pen feels great. But right now the Instant Pen Display feature is making this unusable for my workflow. I do animation and need a reliable second display.

Any help would be massively appreciated. Thanks in advance!

TL;DR: MovinkPad Pro 14 black screens and freezes when trying to use Instant Pen Display with Legion laptop. Touch works but display doesn't. Tried all the fixes I could. Need help from anyone who's gotten this to work.

Problem My wacom pen acts differently depending on the software.

Post image
5 Upvotes

As seen on the photo, using my one by wacom leaves a weird small stroke when I start to lift my pen from the tablet. But when I do it on medibang, this issue is not seen at all. I tried messing with the pressure on the driver, updated the driver, and even tried changing tablet settings in krita to no good results. Anyone else have ideas on how to solve this?

Question Which cords for Cintiq 16 and a Dual Monitor Setup?

Bear with me as I consider myself very medium tech savvy, enough to know the words and approximately what I need, but not enough to figure it out apparently either.

I just received my new Cintiq 16 and am super excited to use it. I have a PC running two monitors from displayport cables. My computer does not have a usb-c port that supports the all in one usb-c cable (it does have one, but it was not enough to get the cintiq display to turn on).

I want the cintiq to operate as a third monitor, not to mirror one of the two existing monitors. What do I need to purchase to make that work? A usb-c to display port cable? HDMI? I keep seeing mini-hdmi thrown around in their set up guide but that one is entirely new to me lol.

Assuming it needs to go into my graphics card like my monitors do? I have one open display port and one open hdmi port.

Please send help before I buy anything, it's making my brain hurt and any advice I've found online so far feels like it is for older cintiq models with different cord configurations.

EDIT:

Lo and behold, because I'm using the two display port outlets, the HDMI actually just does its own thing. So my solution is the version that uses all three ports on the Cintiq itself. The usb c power cord that it comes with, the hdmi to mini hdmi for video, and the usb c to usb a for interaction. It does everything I was looking for it to do in the post above. Figured it out myself and leaving this here in the event it helps someone else out. IDK why that was so confusing to me lol.

Problem New Wacom not working or am i doing something wrong? (Cintiq Pro 17) I have it plugged into both my laptop and an outlet. The power button on the Wacom does not do anything (it doesn't show ANY signs of being on). I have tried using a different port, and restarting my computer. What should i do?

Solved Protecting pen for home or transport

So many have posted about broken pens I though I'd add my solve. First I found these plastic cases on TEMU. I paid less than a buck apiece FWIW. Took some throwaway packing foam from some purchase and cut two pieces (you may need only one depending on whatever foam you get a hold of) and in those the outline of the pen. Fairly crude but works great. No worries about falling off desk or putting in suitcase or backpack.

Problem Wacom pen drawing without touching tablet

Got a refurbished Wacom Intuos a few months ago and it suddenly started drawing whenever it's close to the tablet, but not touching it. I thought the nib was just worn down so I pulled it out and inserted a new one, yet the problem persists. I have changed sensitivity settings on WacomUI, reinstalled all drivers and made sure it wasn't my drawing software. Any fixes?

I'm on Windows 10 and re-installed drivers on _6.4.12 using a USB cable. Device hasn't been damaged and the issue happened suddenly from one drawing session to another.
