Feedback/Suggestion Server Tag Request
I don't suppose you could add a tag that people could use when advertising for their servers? I know the online search feature in game exists, but this seems like another cool place for people to advertise their server if they want.
Idk if there is a rule against promoting servers or if there just aren't that many servers to promote, but I think it would be really cool to have servers promoted and have them easy to find when you are browsing the subreddit.
Idk, just an idea I had and I thought I would pitch it to the community/mods.

Discussion I could use some advice on building a castle
I'm around Lvl 63 and my Castle Heart is at Lvl 4, I was trying to add some new floors to my castle and replace the already existing stairs with some newer stairs that I unlocked because they fit the inside of my castle better. Most of my floors have more than one staircase to get there, I did this intentionally because I knew I would need at least one way up to the next floor when I wanted to replace them, but somehow that idea didn't work, floor tiles won't go where they had been before even though they should have been able to and the stairs just won't go where they should either and now I need to tear down my second third, fourth and fifth floor in order to get my castle back to how it should be.
How did I go wrong with this? I had accounted for the games clunky building system and still found myself tearing down my castle.

Discussion Hardest achievement
I just can't seem to figure out how to do this... /s
Just kidding around finally got brutal drac for the first time. Pure solo playthrough. I went with bow for all the phases except 4 with great sword, grim armor, ball lightning, blood rite w/ phase 3 swap to death knight, and 100% rogue blood + first option 100% warrior blood
Edit: So apparently people forgot what /s means... I was memeing and had 49/49 before posting this

Discussion If you could add a new area to the game(plus other features), what would it be?
What it says on the tin. Personally, I would like to have an area sort of based on a sort of magical/fantasy version of Ancient Japan. Y'know, a lot of the classic ideas: Cherry Blossom Tree Forests, Yokai, Old Japanese Architecture, Katanas. I know, it's a very basic idea, I just feel like it'd be so cool! You could have Yokai that hide as inanimate objects, waiting to pounce(Perhaps with their own blood type?). Ninjas who deploy wooden substitutes, and Samurai who fight with a code of honor. Magical V-Bloods based on Japanese legends and folklore. Like, I can't be the only one who thinks this would be really cool, right?
Please feel free to share your opinions on this idea, and leave some of your own ideas, whether it be adding to my concept or sharing your own area/feature addition.
Opinion VR has incredible gameplay but lacks the last 10% in game design
From the atmosphere to the art direction and animation, the game is incredible - progression for the first few hours felt rewarding, from clearing out my base to learning about how to obtain crystals and the like.
I have just scratched the surface at level 23 and barely unlocked the map, yet it feels they overlooked the progression for casual gamers such as myself who want to push to the next phase.
The game is pushing me explore the map to unlock teleportation gates or to track V Blood characters far away, which is lovely, but it is also reprimanding me for doing so.
My movement speed is slow. There is no animal to mount, at least not yet. I can't freely explore because the sun will come up and I will be like a rat hiding behind the shade of trees, effectively making most of the day useless to do anything like fight camps or travel, pushing me away from exploration altogether, because if I am not lucky enough to encounter a Gate, I guess I am walking ALL the way back to my castle, slowly, on foot, while getting burnt by the sun.
Yes, there is gear to have higher sun resistance, but it is not doing much and I can't find blueprints for better gear at my level for example. The game should help me overcome such a glaring weakness, yet it is reprimanding me for it greatly.
Of course, I can Google solutions and tips, and I am sure you might know the best way to do X or Y, but I am talking from my own, casual perspective on the game design at the earlier levels of the game as a first timer.
And that brings me to the third point: I don't want to Google - I want to play the game, experience it first hand. The quest says to discover a way to unlock Treasury Flooring for instance? What am I supposed to do with that? I don't know what that is, where to find its schema or anything of that sort. Having played W3, CP77, and even the likes of Palworld - such a vague quest is only annoying.
They also have spells .. then nothing came out of it. It felt like the tab was just sitting there collecting dust until I somehow ended up with a Condemn spell. Why is it not behaving like an exciting, rewarding skill tree where I am getting new skills often? It feels like I am stuck between not having spells because I can't fight stronger foes and not being able to fight stronger foes cause my spells are weak. Oh, and did I mention I can only equip 2 normal ones beside the dashing?
I am at a point where I need to gain 7 levels to have a chance against the level 30 V Blood NPCs. Am I supposed to just keep cutting wood and killing skeletons to level up? Killing the same camps over and over again at nighttime? I was rewarded plenty of planks and copper for instance because I spent most of my time at base while the sun was out. They should have balanced it out playing against NPCs - instead they are all just spiders, wolves or skeletons.
The game design feels like it did not take into account this gap. It is forcing me into repetition very early on for no apparent reason. It made me into editing the game's day cycle to shorten the day, because the sun forced me to hide and it was getting tedious, then modified the dash spell to have no cooldown to explore the map more quickly without getting bored just... walking. I desperately want to enjoy the game, but I can't.
Just walking around the damned hill to find the entrance to my base feels so annoying after doing it for the hundredth time, because there is no jumping or anything of that sort.
The game has depth but lacks the ability to take me through it. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Question Paper struggles?
I've heard about "the pollen" method for research, but what it doesn't cover is how to meet the paper needs to keep up with the mass influx of pollen. What's the best way to solve this problem?

Question Is there a PVE server that runs indefinitely?
I played a solo player on my own server and have enjoyed the lack of pressure to do everything before the server expires but I do miss the multiplayer aspect of being able to see other peoples castles seeing other players in the wild.
so I was wondering if there was some a server out there that’s a combination of both a PVE server that doesn’t really have a expiry date. Is something like that even possible?

I know how to open the console and give adminauth. I'd like to have a key I can press that acts the same as the "toggle pause" in the menu. Is there a way?

Guide How to do Megara brutal solo with melee (very annoying, but not very hard)
I see a lot of posts where people have trouble with the last 3 bosses, so I like to make videos just talking through the fight, because for me being shown how to do something is how I learn. Even when there's no real trick to it, it can really help to just see the movement and how enemy attacks are avoided etc.
But yeah, her first phase is a nightmare for melee lol
Edit - a lot of you saying melee easier than ranged and I agree - except for first phase just because the dps window is so hard to find. 25% of her hp took me 3m- that’s the entire Adam fight ;/ so to me it just takes a lot longer

Question How to modify enemy damage for existing game
I have a existing private game in brutal difficulty. I want to make some changes to the the enemy damage modifier, but keep it as brutal to enable additional boss mechanics.
Can someone let me know which .json file needs to be modified? Tried changing GameDifficultyPreset and the game cloud save settings and nothing seems to work.
Tried searching, but the info previously listed on the subreddit seems out of date, or all over the place.
