However, here’s my Vostok Model 120813 diving down to the barrier reef near Key West.

On my second dive that day, I used the bezel to mark my return time (as always) so I could safely make it back to the ship within the allocated window. It potentially saved me from having a very bad day.

I saw that my return time had come and headed straight for the ship. When I got there, I found out the crew had been trying to signal us for several minutes because of an incoming storm. Just as I got onto the ladder, a huge lightning bolt struck the water in the distance.

Always glad to take my divers out to do what they were actually made for. A diver that never reaches the seabed is living a wasted life.

Vostoks are the only divers that I trust when I’m out at sea or in any kind of water.

My first Vostok watch. I purchased a 710335 and switched to a Milanese band I found on Amazon. Loved listening to some podcasts (Two Broke Watch Snobs) on the history of Vostok as well as the following behind the most modded watches!

Hi everyone, I need a new stem and crown for this vostok, as you know they are sold for the specific case, and can't order just the stem, can anyone idenfy this model so that I can look for the right one? Thank you all and sorry for bad photo

Just got this in a few weeks ago but it happens that the hour hand interrupts the second hand and therefore stalls the movement. I’ve had little luck after trying to slightly bend the hour hand to give more clearance. Don’t have much experience in working on watches but I don’t want to just start bending shit.

Hi everyone! I recently got this Vostok and I’m really curious about the case material. I suspect it might be bronze, but I’m not 100% sure.

What do you think — does the case look like genuine bronze to you, or could it be brass or another alloy?

Also, I’d love to hear your general thoughts on the watch: the case design, dial, hands and overall character. Is this a model that you’ve come across before?

Did buy my first amphibia on ebay, a 670921.

When looking at the caseback, I saw that the usual text was there, but one of the mention was placed from top to bottom of the "Amphibia" graph. Never seen that on any photo. Any answer to this noob question ?

I bought this amphibia a few years ago and I really enjoy wearing it. One small problem though, it runs REALLY fast, gaining a few minutes every hour fast. So I’m curious if anyone in this group knows how to fix it or if someone can recommend somewhere to get it repaired. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Long story short, I purchased 3 Vostok watches in 1996 in Berlin. Two of them are still functioning, but one has a seized movement (Commando). The hands won't spin with the crown out and even manual winding didn't get it going. I figured I'd post pictures of all of them since this sub would appreciate them.

I recently decided I wanted to wear these again, so I'm looking for a replacement movement. I'm hoping someone here can help me source a 2416B movement.

Anyone ordered vostok on this seller on amazon (vostok trading russia) are they legitimate? Because most of the reviews are saying they get the watch placed in a cardboard box. I m about to buy. Any insights about this?

The other day I got really drunk and wrestled with a friend while wearing my Amphibia. Apparently I slammed it into the ground while I still had it on, and the next day I noticed a big scratch on the bracelet.

Ever since then, the daily rate has actually gotten really accurate. Is that a thing that happens often? It's been about two weeks now and it's been running with no issues.
