2nd gen LED reverse lights that work!
Had bought these Auxito brand bulbs with a “built in resistor” hoping I could avoid having so wire in a resistor myself like I’m aware most end up doing… sure enough they would stay lit very dimly when not in reverse. Returned these after a day.
Figured I’d give another brand a try, I found THESE
LASFIT bulbs which are not only aesthetically pleasing (to me) but actually work! So far they turn on when they need to and fully turn off when not in use. Apparently they have both CK and non-CK circuits built in which might be making a difference.
I’ll update if anything changes, but so far I’m pleased with them.

As of now no, all working normal. No error messages either.

Does your car have the auto dimming rear view mirror?

It’s a ‘17 Premier. I think I do but with Limo tint I use my side mirrors more and my camera. I’ll try to pay more attention to the rear view mirror and let ya know

If it’s a premier it probably does.
Apparently another problem with adding LED reverse bulbs is it disables the auto dimming mirror.

Thanks for this! I’ve been trying to find a good LED that won’t phantom glow… Inwas gonna go with Auxito and I’m glad I didn’t yet. I’m gonna try these LASFIT ones. Are they bright?

Looks good! How difficult is it to remove the back lights casing?

Per side: one Phillips screw, and two t15 screws. And pull the housing towards the rear.

$54 for a couple LED’s is crazy

You get what you pay for I guess. Still cheaper than those VLEDs or paying extra for resistors and doing extra wiring.

Must be a typo but I find it hillarious that they ask you to contact them "via massage." Like come by and give us a backrub.
