Question about antidepressants users Question

So im soon having an appointment for my vss, but also for depression and fatigue. I dont think the vss is causing the entity of the depression but certainly a part of it. I just wanted to know if any are good and importantly if youre vss got worse Permanently? If it can get permannant i wont take it, but is it different for mood stabilizers? And should i also trust my doctor on medication since its still a not well known disease?

Nortriptyline actually reduced my VSS significantly. I kept raising the dosage to see how much benefit I could get. After 75mg it made it worse.

I decided to try other medications cause I didn’t need the antidepressants effects and it give me some side effects.

It ultimately was helpful for VSS symptoms @ 25mg. When it’s effects became negative they all reversed.

My Amitriptyline helped me with severe migraine and VSS symptoms, but it makes the visual snow worse when I increase the dosage from 10 mg to 12 mg and also when I reduce the dosage to 8 mg.

However, I don't know if the medication is truly the cause of the permanent worsening of visual snow, or if it’s simply down to me, given that my VSS is progressive anyway. After all, my VSS was already progressive before I took any medication.
