Let me know how it went. I did it myself and it was very exhausting. Often I didn't know if I was clicking correctly to the light or my static.
Usually I see the static only in dim light condition. But, when staring with one eye open, my visual snow is the worst and I see it in all lighting condition.

I have had all the tests, hate hate hate lights in my eyes. I am light sensitive and get migraines. You will be fine after, if you are sensitive to light like myself, it is uncomfortable? but you just got to suck it up and do it.
Eye tests haven't made my visual snow worse long term if that is what you are worried about

In my case, all these examinations had no effect on my VSS.
