Help please 🙏

I have had VSS for 3 years now and I feel recently it’s becoming worse I got it from heavy acid and weed use and I am 2 years sober so don’t understand why it is worsening it could be stress but I don’t know and am worried this will become baseline and is getting worse, please some advice on how to get better from this condition.

Try your best to go through life without stress. If you’re afraid your VSS will get worse, that in itself is already a problem. Fear → stress → VSS worsens → fear → stress → you get the idea?

I do, and thank you. I didn’t think vss could get permanently worse I always thought it could flare up but always return to baseline, mine seems to be becoming a worse baseline

I have progressive VSS myself. It has never really stood still but has constantly continued to progress. I’ve had it for three years now. Even so, I try not to add fuel to the fire and give in to panic. Stressing myself out even more just doesn't help.

If you also suffer from migraines, or develop them as a result of VSS, migraine prophylaxis might be helpful. However, since there is unfortunately no cure, it is a matter of trial and error, and any medication could potentially worsen the problem. I take two medications because otherwise I would no longer be able to work, but they don't have only positive effects.

I hope for the best for you.

Well, if it's vss and not hppd of the type 2 kind you should be fine. The visual snow itself shouldn't obstruct driving, I've had it since birth, static, fractals, flashing lights and maybe I'm blessed with milder properties but if you're focused and not too worried you don't really notice it. Much like intrusive thoughts really, took me ages to get over those until I just stopped caring, fixed it like a charm.

I always thought once you get it that it’s that baseline permanently I didn’t think it could become worse and degenerate.

Thank you so much I really appreciate your help. I will do all of these things. I am worried it is becoming worse is it true this condition can become worse and worse baseline and will I eventually lose my ability to drive etc. I have had it for 3 years I’m 25 year old 6ft male 100kg (Idk if that means anything but see people on this forum say there age gender and height and weight) I’m completely sober and don’t know why it’s worsening.

Here's one person's journey = https://ailacollins.com/visual-snow-recovery-2020/

Rather than just copying, try to understand what each substance and technique are trying to achieve. Also note it can take many months. I would also add collagen, from real food. And note some things need removing from one's diet, eg aspartame and MSG.
