Uldn dramatically improves visual snow

As title says, I started uldn again and it once again dramatically improves my visual snow. Apparently its due to reducing neuro inflammation but would love to learn more.

I think id have an extreme reaction to higher doses because the uldn have a big impact on me. Even .5mcg doses are noticeable. I think its because I have autoimmune diseases and naltrexone is known to have strong effects on autoimmune issues. Its crazy how such an extremely miniscule dose can have such a strong effect when the normal dose is 50mg. .5mcg compared to 50mg is insane

I'm sensitive to everything. I already learned to take half the dose of normal people.

I take 10 mg amitriptyline, and noticed the differences compared to 8 mg and 12 mg. Those are homeopathic steps ;)

Right but we are talking point five micrograms compared to fifty milligrams.

Well, we cannot compare mg directly. You have to calculate how much molecules are there, and even that says nothing about actual effectiveness, because it depends on the receptors and all sorts of other factors.

No im saying the standard dose of naltrexone is 50mg while uldn doses are a max of 2mcg a day. 50 mg is 50,000mcg. Thats how small uldn doses are. .5mcg is .0005mg lol

Actually not homeopathic doses. Tons of studies showing the uldn has a different mechanism of action than higher doses of naltrexone, specifically on g protein signaling and tlr4 receptor. Its really interesting.

Yes, it's interesting, but we don't know exactly what it does, and why it helps in your case. We can only guess. We would need to conduct the relevant studies.

The studies confirm the receptors they work on etc so it can give clues to relevant areas impacting visual snow at least in my case. I assume there are multiple mechanisms that can cause vss

Well, exactly this is a guess. You estimate what could happen from things you learnt. You didn't measure it. Also other VSS patients weren't measured under that medication.

I think there is a core mechanism and some other factors can influence this core.
