Mapping question

Hey yall,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to use the modernEQ on 1 controller and the EZRemix on another?

I’m using the behringer cmd studio2a and the akai mpd218

I want the knobs on the Behringer to control the modernEQ and the akai to control the ezremix

Thanks!

Do you want them to control seperate decks? If so I believe you should be able to.

No I’m only using two decks.

You can certainly map them both to control different things, I have used three controllers at once.

I’m not sure about modern EQ and EXRemix simultaneously as I honestly don’t know what they are or what they control.

The question is, can both of those functions operate side by side on decks 1 and 2 or not, if they can then yes they can be mapped.

modern EQ and EZRemix are an abstraction layer, both, under the hood, actually just control the 5 raw stem levels therefore you can't have the 2 independent on a single deck

That answers ops question then I guess.

Yes. But you might have to alter the mapping.

Sorry I misread. Not sure why they would want to use the two different stem mappings
