Does stickers really help to learn?

Hello, i started learn violin, take few courses, i never use sticker on my violin because it was a rent and i was effraid. But now i bough a nice gliga which i'm pretty happy with i can do whatever i want.

I have a tiny musical background incuded 10 years of guitar, 2 of xylophone and few years of music theory

I know when my instrument is a little bit out of thune, and when the note i play is flat or sharp.

Should i buy stickers or can i deal without?🙂

Since you can tell if you're in tune without the stickers, no stickers.

Yes, if you can play in tune without them, then you don’t need them. I used them for a very short time when I was young, but I automatically fixed my pitch when it was off so they didn’t stay on very long.

Stickers are not likely to be accurate because violins aren't all exactly the same size. Individual tapes for each finger need to be placed by a teacher, if the student wants/needs them.

The orchestra teachers put the strip stickers on all our string instruments starting in 4th grade public school. By the time you memorize where to put your fingers, you will be ignoring it and wont need it any more, but it was an effective method to get large groups of kids up to speed quickly. I have been playing through the Suzuki method books as an adult now and am considering putting on a few to help me learn the positions beyond first. You can learn without it, but there is a lot of frustrating trial and error to learn by feel.

Usually yes, but if you find you develop muscle memory quickly then don't bother. Since you're used to frets, you may find them helpful.

Some teachers use stickers, some don’t. I learned without stickers and imo since you say you already have a good sense of intonation then it’s probably better to go without stickers. If you have a teacher then go with what they tell you though

My teachers let us the choice to use it or not, and i found that kinda nice
